Growers and smokers who like to visit the coffee shops of the Netherlands have most likely already experienced the potency and quality of one of the best performing strains, Super Silver Haze. The light green colour of the buds, the aromatic but smooth taste, and the cerebral effects are not a big secret. Zambeza Seeds decided to create a strain that preserves the main characteristics of SSH, by at the same time enriching the genetic pool with the most successful strains of the Blue family, the notorious and world famous Blueberry.

When looking at the magnificent buds of Blue Brilliant, which can sometimes develop blue hues in late flowering, one really gets the impression of looking at a beautifully polished blue brilliant. This sativa-dominant strain needs a flowering time of approximately 65 days. This is a remarkable improvement when thinking about the 11 weeks of flowering time, strains like Super Silver Haze normally need. Manageable heights of 80-110cm make this hybrid more applicable to be grown indoors. Indoor growers can expect high yields of up to 500-600g/m², whereas outdoor gardeners can harvest about the same amount of bud per plant. When Blue Brilliant is grown outdoors, it stretches a little bit, up to heights of 140-180cm.

The aromatic smoke and the intense effect are probably the most convincing arguments for potential growers of Blue Brilliant. The smoothness of Super Silver Haze was preserved, and maybe even enhanced, by the fruity taste of Blueberry. One clearly notices the fresh and light taste, reminding of sweet and fruity blueberries that have just been hand-picked on a summer day. Talking about the effect is equally important to complete the picture of this strain. The high is very strong and clear, uplifting, and enhances creativity, to approach music, art and maybe science, from a different perspective. Smoking too much will most likely lead to a giggly outcome and uncontrollable smiles. The THC content is ridiculously high with 20%.

It’s really hard to think of negative aspects that are related to growing this hybrid. Maybe there is one: If somebody finds out that you have a decent amount of Blue Brilliant in your home, you run into the risk of having a lot of people who want nothing but your bud. The final product will be more than satisfying, and the way to get there, is not complicated. Buying Blue Brilliant cannabis seeds makes way more sense than investing in seeds that are priced like blood diamonds. Diamonds and blue brilliants are equally magnificent but our product is by far the better option for the price-conscious consumer. This is safe to say.
