Whew, I am a few days late in posting but I have been MIA. Glad to be back to my plants and gardening. My faithful follower @hindugod even reached out to me to see why I was late in posting my pictures. A Disney Vacation was good for me but not so much for my plants. I also left my husband and two livestock in charge of feeding and protecting my plants from the elements of nature. Miss Mango Kush continues to grow tall. According to Zamnesia Seeds, she could reach a height of 38 inches outdoor. Our weather has been kinda crazy and hellish- as in HOT- and her leaves are getting burned on the edges even though I have a pool umbrella protecting her from the direct sun. Miss Mango Kush is NOT a bushy plant but rather a tall, lean plant. If you look at her pictures, you can see a lot of buds forming. It has been quite hot this past week, but hopefully we will get a break in the weather. Please continue to enjoy my diary and let's chat it up friends.

Cloning procedure: Immediately place into water upon cutting. Remove bottom nodes at base of stem, scratch stem gently with scissors + cut small slit on end of stem. Dip stem into water, then dip into rooting powder, then firmly plant into moist soil. Cover with Ziploc bag (humidity dome). Solo cups have 4 holes in the bottom (Melted gently with a lighter) (same soil as shown in diary for germination) The soil was pre-moistened before the seeds were planted. (lightly watered, then top half of solo cup was stirred, to promote absorption (very dry soil))

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. 5/18: I did a little LST on her today and ordered another of the 200w lights and some panda film to line the interior of my tarped enclosure. 5/19: WTF?!? I was seeing a few pre-flower pistils here and there, but today it's looking like she's trying to flower along with every other plant in the outdoor garden! All I can figure is that being vegged under 24/0 for a month and then being put outside at just the wrong time under 14/10, they think it's becoming winter. I sure hope she notices the days getting longer and goes back to vegging.🙏 I wanted to beast her all the way out and finish up in late summer, and it's still only fuckin Spring! 5/20 - 5/24: She is really thriving. I did a little more LST on her before the rain started. It rained every day this week for at least a few hours, but I did manage to top-dress her pot with cavern culture and azomite between showers. I also did a foliar application with MicroLife Maximum Blooms that didn't get rainwashed off for about seven hours... That's it for week #7-

We are at the end of fruiting and they are getting ripped! Beautiful sweet creamy smell mixed with a green sour. I believe at least from the smell pound cake will be one of my favourites, but let's wait for the smoke test. Nothing major to report, all the blumat issues where fixed and also the nutrient deficiencies. I'll not be adding anything else other than water until they finish. Just had the final defoliation to improve air circulation because they are so small that the branches overlapped a lot.my next auto's I'll just let them grow naturally because, from what I've seen and read I think I trained too much and that will impact production in a bad way. The poundC#1 really became delayed because of the dey period that it has gone through and now I'm hopping that I can manage to harvest at the same time without major losses because I have to dry on the same tent for now. It is the only place than I can maintain the ideal conditions.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... Hi gromies Ive missed updates over the last few weeks phone problem! But the girls are going great!👍 I'm at the end of week 5 of flower. I'm pretty happy with it for my first scrog grow, could have been better, was in rush to get something into flower, started flowering as soon as they started to grow through net. Should have veged them & trained through the net longer to completely fill net. Pheno 3 was half the size of the other 2. Have started some clones from flowering cuttings, Monster cropping , it works great for increasing yield & saves me from having to keep motherplants. Amazing progress, the roots you see were developed in 8 days! Will start to veg them in the 2nd tent & start the perpetual harvest process. Have continued to grow this strain as I don't have any other seeds at the moment, though it is a nice strain! Definitely time for a change, hint, hint original sensible seeds! Or any other seed companies 👍

Ak1 is already quite fat, the smell is very strong. Being born with natural pruning made her very fat, just 2 thick branches. Ak2 is doing well too, very pretty. 12/12 from seed Watering with filtered tap water every 2/3 days, when the pot is lighter Soil: peat, coconut powder, perlite, carbonized rice husk, sheep manure and worm humus. essential mineral mix, vegetable flours, vegetable cakes, biochar, bokashi EM1 and other organic inputs, Algae ascophyllum nodosum small pots 3,7liters // 1gallon light: lm301h-evo 120watts with other plants

The cal-mag issue has been handled and is growing strong. They are definitely producing some buds I hit them with a nasty defoliation trying to get humidity down and expose as much light to the nugs as possible. This will be the last time I hit them like this but will be still removing large fan leaves if they get in the way of bud sights. Hopefully lord willing everything will continue to go smoothly and we can get a good harvest.!! Happy growing and god bless.

Well, week 11 has started today 8/15. So blessed to have gotten this far! I'll be flipping the lights tomorrow to begin to start flowering. I have both my tents linked up so I don't have to run two separate exhausts! Now that the stress part is over time to sit, enjoy some puffs and continue focusing my energy! Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: 8/17 Day one of 12/12 in the books! I gotta say, I always chill with my plants before I turn down for the night and it was strange not doing it last night, lol. So I'm gonna get some green lights! I have an awesome app on my phone called Hydroponics Green Screen Light, it's in the app store for free. Developer in Timothy Johns. It works great but not enough for me. But it is great if you need to go in during the dark cycle for whatever reason. Or you can get yourself a lamp and a green grow room bulb!
