Week 7 Veg Report 🌿✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌱 Week 7 of veg is here, and let me tell you, the grow room is buzzing with life! Each of the girls is showing off her unique personality, and I’m especially stoked about the Papaya Zoap—she’s really coming into her own! The scrog net is nearly filled out just how I wanted it, and I can feel we’re so close to flipping to flower. The anticipation is real! 😁 But before we get to flowering, let’s take a dive into something that makes this grow so smooth—ThinkGrow LED drivers and cables. ThinkGrow LED Drivers – Plugging Into Success 💡🔗 This week, I had a chance to work deeper with the ThinkGrow LED system, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for efficiency. I’ve been using the TLD-4 Four Spectrum Control Channels Model One LED Driver, and let me break down how it works. The drivers attach directly to the bars—super sleek and no extra bulk. And, the connections? It’s a matter of matching the male and female connectors on the TDC-2 Daisy Chain Cord. It’s like a simple puzzle that snaps together perfectly. The TDC-4 cord takes it to the next level, connecting the top bars to the ICL-300 Inner-Canopy LED Bar, giving complete control and balance across every layer of my canopy. Why is this important? The driver-to-bar connection ensures that each LED bar is operating optimally, and the daisy-chain system makes it effortless to manage multiple bars without a ton of wires everywhere. It’s neat, efficient, and delivers even light distribution, which my plants are loving! 🌞 Are My Girls Ready for Flower? 🌸 When I look at the plants up close, it’s like they’re whispering, “Flip me to flower already!” 😆 Their growth has been so vigorous, each filling out the space with character, and that scrog net is almost fully covered. So, I’m thinking we’re super close to the big switch. Each plant has its own pace, but as a whole, the grow is looking fantastic! Room Stats – Tuning Into the Environment 🌡️ The TrolMaster system is still killing it with data and control, making it easier for me to keep everything balanced. Here’s a quick breakdown of the week’s environmental numbers, and a few jokes along the way! 😜 • Room Temps: Max 25.5°C | Min 24.4°C (Keeping it cool but not too chill!) • RH: Max 76.4% | Min 67.1% (Humidity stays right where it needs to be.) • CO2: Max 832 ppm | Min 420 ppm (Shout out to that magical 420! 🌬️😂) • VPD: Max 1.06 kPa | Min 0.64 kPa (All dialed in for peak veg mode.) Light Levels – All in the Details 💡 • Max PPFD: 506 | Min 0 (because, you know, when the lights are off, it’s dark! 🌚😆) Keeping the light intensity balanced, and using the ThinkGrow LED system to spread that goodness across the entire canopy, I’m seeing explosive growth. Those PPFD levels are perfect for this stage! Water & Nutrients – The Lifeline 💧 • Solution pH: Max 6.32 | Min 5.78 (Keeping it in the perfect range.) • TDS: 355 ppm steady (Every drop counts, right?) • Solution Temp: Max 23.5°C | Min 22.3°C (Keeping things cool, just like the grow!) And medium moisture? It’s a solid 100% thanks to my AutoPots and the genius of the AquaValve system. No electricity needed—just gravity doing its magic. It makes my life so much easier, and the girls are loving the consistent hydration! No more worrying about under- or over-watering. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

So we're going into the 2nd week of flower and everything is looking good and healthy. Definitely ready to see what the flower looks like on this cross. My diary won't be complete in time for the contest but I'm still stoked for this grow.

Defoliated these ladies, still have the feeling that not enough I took down. What do you all think? Overall condition is great and buds are surprisingly well established at this stage. Stems already shaking some more weight and they gonna drop down easily.

Week 1 flowering - Day 5 of flowering & Day 61 of life Finally flowering here. It’s been 5 days on flowering, still pre flowering but finally the best is coming. Black gum looks healthy and it grows many branches sides. It’s hard work to maintain but we never give up. Chasing good flavor, nice taste and good vibes on this one 🙏🏼

El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 25/21 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 75% de potencia. Finally moved these two up into 7 gallon fabric pots. I didn’t want to let them go any longer in those little pots! Especially with the kind of year I’ve been having. Anyways, on that note, here is a video of those 3 photoperiods; one of each, an A-Train, an Alien Rock Candy, and Ackbar OG.

Plant 1 has 2 sets of cotyledon leaves. Which is a neat mutation. Anyone else grow stardawg and seen this? I really tried getting the temperature up a little more this week. Worked a little too well and things coulda went south quick. Thankfully everything’s good. I do not have access to my grow as much as I would like? As I do not have sufficient space in my apartment for my grow, Iam forced to do so in my parents basement. Big shout out to my mom! For watering these girls for me. She actually shot some of the videos, and it is her voice you are sometimes hearing. Till next time. ✌️

A few of the autos have mostly milky trichomes but no amber yet. Maybe another two weeks.

So this has definitely been a slow grow, but I also mainlined it and topped her twice... I'm not feeding her my regular feed, which is like steroids. I'm using the dots and i was warned about the growth being slow in the beginning, so no worries... I was actually going to grow her out normal, but I had to use the flowering tent for an unexpected auto flower, not being an auto flower .. no bad one is doing well. Shout out to @Grow4releaf

Jan 13th ordered a Dehumidifier today should be here Monday need to get the humidity down for flower I can only get it down to 57% so Hopefully it will work One of the amnesia haze plants have some type of deficiency not sure have brown spots on leaves Got humidity some decent control but I’m sure amnesia haze 1 is dealing with PH issues the PH meter is cheap and I’m sure it’s been off a bit so I’m going to look for new one this week
