A new week ... A new Luck ....

Hello All. I took a lot of pictures. Hope you don't mine, but I had fun. I think everyone likes to see large harvest pictures. It all started back in early January when I took clones of my favorite plants. It was a cold winter here this year, for these parts. So it was mid March when I got the plants out in the greenhouse. The spring was damp and cold too. I found powdery mildew in the garden about 2 weeks before I found it in the greenhouse. I got it on the Skunkberry and the Burmberry, But not on either Amnesia Lemon or the Sister Amnesia Lemon. I was very pleased about that :) I found some spider mites in the last week and a half. I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they still spread but very slowly when they can't spin their webs. I didn't find many when I harvested. Everything else went well this season. I found a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights that I liked. So I'll try to make some seeds with the Amnesia Lemon, Skunkberry and the Burmberry. I'm trying to fatten up the Burmberry. I'm interested to see if the Amnesia Lemon gets fatter buds and carries the P.M. resistance to the seeds, I'm hoping. The tall Sister Amnesia lemon in the middle did cause a drop of production from the plants on either side of it. They were in more shade. Something to work on for next year :) The Skunkberry had the most P.M. I used a new produce that I'm pleased with, it's White Wash frequency altered water. Knocks the P.M. right out. I found that if you put a large tray under where you are spraying you can catch the run off. I could use it a couple of times with no change in effectiveness. It must be the Scottish in me. I try to reuse or recycle as much as possible. Cuts costs, and help make me feel like I'm doing good and helping the planet. My feeding schedule was: I had a 15 gallon half barrel and pump with hoses and nozzles. I filled the barrel with nutrient solution and watered by minuets, 15 for clod days and 25 or 30 minuets on hot days. After 3 or4 days I added water when the solution got low. Mixed new solution once a week, and cleaned the barrel and pump. I also took the hose in the greenhouse and soaked them till run off once a week and measured the ph. I saw a few fungus gnats, but the spiders and nematodes (from my compost I added when I mixed soil) sure help to keep the numbers down. I like to put my buds in a paper bag to dry and cure. Inside I hang the buds for 3 days before putting the buds in paper bags. But it was so hot in the green house that 2 days was more that enough before putting the buds in the paper bags. The bags sat in the greenhouse for 3 days and then went in to the basement to finish. The old hippies told me that they use to put their buds to cure in the middle of a bushel of straw. I seems that the drying buds gives off a gas, that when trapped around the buds helps to take away the bitterness and raunchiness' of the uncured buds. The bags also help in wicking away the moisture of the drying buds, just like the straw did. After a week I check to see if it is dry enough. If the buds are dense the bag might need to be rehung for a few days to finish. I prefer a dryer bud. I like to hear a light crunch when I put a bud in my pipe. In Conclusion: This was my best grow ever! Big thanks to Barneys farm, for great seeds. I've got LSD started and I will try that in the greenhouse next year, 5/5 for mold and pest resistance. I'm very happy with the results. I was concerned because I have 2 rental houses behind me and one of them had a big backyard party at my week 5 of flowering. You could smell the grow by then and I was hoping I wasn't going to get ripped off. I looked through the fence a few days later and saw about 12 large plant pots, growing cannabis. I'm very happy. Week 14/4 - 20/4

They all got very heavy and big buds, the plant/stems do not have just a chance to support the weight of the flowers on their own. Since I'm in lack of flower/smoke material currently, I chopped on D51 already one tree. Going to take care of the remaining in the upcoming days and will post next update once everything is dried. Smells lemony with a taste lavender flavor, a bit like a very masculine after shave. And it's very very stinky, leave it open in the basement and you are going to smell it also on the 3rd floor of the house. Grew the clone now the second time and nailed it this time much better. She's for sure a keeper. High yielding, fast flowering sativa like growing terp monster 🔥

4/14 day 21 As of day 22, she’s showing obvious flower pistils, will count her as flowering in the next week. Last week of veg, will switch to half and half of veg and flower nutes. I believe it’s 444 and 284 flower. 4/18

These are very sticky and very smelly I’m probably going to do 1 or 2 more nutrient feedings until I flush for 7 days. Then I reckon I’ll let them druy leave them in dark for a couple days and then chop chop. Very suprised with these tbh and ready to nail the cure 4/13 start of week 7

Day 44 since flipping and this girl is getting close to finishing. No more feeding for her. Just some Cyco Supa Sticky today and next watering and water from there on out. Got about 75-80 percent cloudy. The sweet orange citrus smell is PHENOMENAL! Got about 2, maybe 3, weeks left and she'll be done. Had to tie up a couple branches because she's falling over from putting on weight! I love her!

This ladys packing on to 4 fatty colas and stacking them to the tits. She has other branches obviously lol but the 4 colas are all sharing dominance and really getting fat. Bud structre is really coming in now. Very round and dense. Lots of flowers already piled on at every bud site. Trichomes are piling on thick already. This is gunna get mighty frosty! I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving her vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as this lady is booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 85 from seed and unfortunately for the plant looks like the lack of light really handicapped how much bud she could really develop I will try to raise her up today or tomorrow in order to attempt more light to penetrate to her but the damage is done already even though the smell and the looks of them are amazing I'm not going to get big flowers like I was hoping for nevertheless she smells and looks very very nice. Muy olorosa genética, me encantó mucho, termino de engordar al 100% los cálices absorbiendo los postilos de las flores y eso para mi es muy importante, muy agradable al fumar con un efecto inmediato apto para el día a mi pensar ya que su efecto se nota mucho pero no es para dejarte tumbado si no que con mucho ánimo en fin muy agradable para conectar tu mente a la música que es algo que me encanta al fumar, en fin muy fácil de cultivar, crece mucho así que procura dar poca vegetación, creo que yo me excedí un poco, y no olvidar alimentar a tiempo ya que beben mucho. Realmente contento con esta experiencia Muchas gracias por pasar y felices cultivos!!

Still getting much larger, very wide now. I cut back to 50% nutes every other watering and watering half as much. I also brought up the humidity from lows in the 27% to lows in the 40%. Switched light to be on at night to control temp more with out running A/C as it got hot here sooner than normal. I took a few lower colas off quite a large amout dried it in a vacuum pump freeze dryer for 6 hours and have been vaping it all week, high is sleepy, comfortable laziness, night time based I would say after work getting ready to sleep. Trichomes under 60X look 70% milky, 30% clear, not fattened weeks more+ for amber color
