The girl has been blooming for six years now, now I'm just waiting for the trichomes to turn white and finally there will be a harvest. So far they are transparent and the buds are not yet ripe, I will have to wait 😉

This week the photoperiods showed clear progress in vegetative growth, with bigger leaves spreading out and new nodes stacking in nicely. Their color has stayed healthy and consistent, confirming they’re settling well into their 1-gallon pots. On August 26, beneficial nematodes were applied during a watering to boost pest prevention and protect the soil long-term. Humidity and temperature have been monitored closely, with minor adjustments made to keep the VPD in a safe range. By midweek, the canopy began to fill out more evenly, and the plants are looking strong and balanced. Overall, Week 3 has been about steady development, root expansion, and keeping the environment stable. They’re now building a solid foundation for future training and shaping as veg continues.

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

Plants are not doing great, more like an absolute disaster. The height is app. 51 cm and 34 cm measured from the top of the soil, far to small and not growing anymore. I think I drowned them a few weeks ago, wasn't paying attention when watering my 2 Sour Diesels and Humbold Seed Headband. Posted some random pictures and a video from the last few weeks, hope you like them anyway.

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

Moin 😎, Woche 11 ist vorbei und die Damen gehen so langsam in Rente. Und zumindest die Papaya sieht auch schon so aus. 👻 Ich reduziere jetzt schrittweise die Wasserzufuhr und die Lichtstärke. Hatte bis jetzt so um die 1000 PPFD in der Mitte und 850 an den Rändern und ich gehe zurück bis auf 600 PPFD in den nächsten 10 Tagen. Weiß nicht, ob sie noch viel länger brauchen werden. Trichome sind 70% milchig und 30% klar. Auf den Zuckerblättern schon das eine oder andere Bernsteinfarbene. Ich habe mir einen 150L Weinkühlschrank zugelegt (siehe Video) den versorge ich erstmal provisorisch mit einer Umluft und eventuell schon einer RH gesteuerten Abluft und dann werde ich Buds zum Testen schonmal reinlegen. Ich möchte Next Level Qualität und beim Grow kann ich kaum noch was rausholen. Jetzt muss die Trocknung optimiert werden. Als Tipp kann ich euch schonmal mitgeben, dass ihr am besten beim Trocknen einen VPD von 0.9kPa aufrecht erhaltet. Egal wie die Temperaturen erstmal sind. Hello growers, another week by and some leafs just start yellowring but overhaul she already has a pretty nice and smooth smell and the buds are looking beautiful, also I stopped using nutrients and using only water with ph arround 6.3 - 6.5. Midnight is a seriously beautiful cultivar and unlike many other purple strains I’ve seen, grown and smoked, this one’s terps are actually rather impressive. Her aroma is a pungent mix of berries, citrus and gas. I love it. She certainly isn’t the fastest auto. We’re at day 77 since sprout and it’s clear she still needs another 2-2.5 weeks. I expect her to be ready for harvest somewhere in the 90-95 day range.

Die Pflanzen haben sich auch in dieser Woche gut gemacht. Man kann den unterschied zwischen sativa und indika gut erkennen. Die beiden hinteren pflanzen sind Girl scout Cookie und Sweet Candy und die vorderen super Silver haze und Berry bomb . Der Weinballon blubbert noch mäßig vor sich hin und jeden zweiten Tag stelle ich ein Gefäß mit Wasser und 4 CO2 Tabletten mit ins Zelt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem gegenwärtigen Wachstum und Entwicklung der Pflanzen. Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken ein zweites Zelt zu kaufen und im Wechsel auch Automatik anzupflanzen um die Wartezeit zur Ernte mit einem kurzfristigen Grow zu belohnen. Dafür rauche ich nicht einmal. Dieses Hobby habe ich meinem Sohn zu verdanken. Er ist so selbstlos und testet die Ergebnisse für mich. Dann wird er sie bewerten ,da ich das leider nicht kann. Habe überlegt vielleicht Edibles herzustellen. Candys, Pralinen oder Gebäck. Wäre dankbar für Erfahrungen und Rezepte . Aber bis dahin werde ich den Mädels noch beim Wachsen zusehen.
