Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Both sticky traps replaced. • Additional lollipopping done: removed popcorn buds and shaded growth under SCROG. • Leaf symptoms (tip burn, spotting) persist – watered with plain pH water, once with half HESI dose. • Watered 3x this week: 9.5 L (pH only) • Light stayed at intensity level 7

Battling with spider mites at this stage. I am trying to keep them at bay using different methods. Neem oil spray, garlic and mint spray, pain water sprays. I also fed some fungal tea I brewed for 72 hours.

Got them in pots on Wednesday, they're happy and growing like crazy. I buried them deeper in the 5g so they're growing out more than up right now. Getting hard to regulate temp and humidity in that tent as it's colder outside.

She grew well for the little time I spent with her. She grew fast as upping my room temps a few degrees sped the process up. She has a good smell and I will be back to update on a smoke report in a few months once it is dried, cured, and trimmed. 24.04.2026 Heute habe ich mich dazu entschlossen die Damen zu ernten. der Hauptpunkt welcher mich jetzt dazu gebracht hat zu ernten waren die trichome, es sind jetzt auf jeder Pflanze Bernstein farben zu erkennen. sie trinken auch nicht mehr all zu viel und ich musste am Ende nur noch alle 3 tage gießen anstatt alle 2 Tagen. sie sind jetzt grob getrimmt und trocknen und curen jetzt in der vcure von vivosun. ich werde noch mehr Bilder machen, sobald sie fertig sind. freue mich schon auf das Ergebnis. die buds werden jetzt 5 Tage getrocknet und dann 9 Tage gecured, also gibt es in 14 Tagen neue Bilder. ich wünsche allen die bei dem Contest mit machen viel glück und einen guten grow, am Ende sind wir alle Gewinner eines guten grows. danke an zamnesia und plagron für das bereitstellen der Samen und des düngers. es gab mir Mal die Chance einen Strain von zamnesia zu testen und in den dünger von plagron rein zu schnuppern. hat mir beides gefallen und ich werde drauf zurück greifen in Zukunft, ganz sicher.

The buds on Rucucu Cucu are getting fatter by the day! As they swell up, the aroma is becoming more intense — a strong, sweet bubblegum scent with a spicy undertone. If everything keeps going well, this is shaping up to be an excellent smoke. The plant is growing so vigorously that I had to remove some leaves to give the lower buds more light and space. The main cola has stopped stretching and is now packing on some serious weight. Meanwhile, the side branches are still competing for the spotlight and are developing some impressive flowers of their own. One lovely surprise: some beautiful purple hues are starting to show up in the bigger buds — totally unexpected, but definitely a nice bonus ✌️☘️ That’s it for now.
