This week wrapped up the generative two phase or midflower and began the generative three phase. The plants were fed the nutrients listed daily. I like to keep the p and k up high during the first week to twelve days of generative three. This week the weather has been more cooperative but far from ideal. The highs have ranged from mid 70's to 90 degrees f. The nights are running low to mid 60's f with humidity in the 90% range at night. Humidity has stayed somewhat high during the day ranging from 70% to mid 50% a few days only. This weather has really been testing these girls resistance. Plants 1 and 2 have been immune to pm. Plant 3 has responded well to treatment with arber. All the plants got a medium defoliation which helped. Everyone stacked this week. They have all reached their maximum height. I used the height of the tallest 87.5" for the official height. The two shorter plants are 61 and 62 inches.

Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didn’t feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since it’s all been stabilised.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. 1st Transplant took about an hour. Last year I had 3 plants and this year I'm doing 15 times that. For this 1st strain. I have about 18 strains but this was the most abundant allowing more room for error since I skipped 2020 growing season. Very excited for the challenge ahead. Few plants that are taller than others, most are around the same height with a few shorties. Support needed on several plants that aren't standing straight on their own. I may have had them in the starter pods 1-2 days too long. Live, Love, Learn.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. ~July 12th-July 18th~ 🌡️Temp: 🌞78-84 , 🌚74-80 💨Humidity: 🌞65-85%, 🌚70-80% 💡Lights: 🌞18h/6h🌚, 24’ from 🌱, PPFD approx-275 🌬️Airflow: 2 small oscillating fans and a 200cfm inline fan+carbon filter ~Day 15~ Plants are still showing signs of a deficiency or overwatering. I’ll continue to wait to water but will add nutes next time I do. The new growth on the 3 plants look good and the smallest sprouts growth is looking good. Started ph balancing and dechlorinating my humidifier water just in case. ~Day 16~Plants seem to finally be drying out after the overwatering, the growth on the 2 biggest plants has been stunted and the mutated plant is still growing funky. Smallest plant is growing well. Dialing in on the humidity and temps well. Close ups of the discolorations on the 2 largest plants in the photos. ~Day 17~ Old discoloration not gonna get better but it hasn’t spread anymore so that’s good. The plants are still growing slow though which gives time for the mutated plant and the sprout to catch up at least. Woke up to the mutated sprout producing resin like drops from its lower leaves and it had a noticeable smell to it almost similar to a concentrate smell of thc. Prepping the 2 bigger plants for transplant tomorrow, filled 2 fabric 3-gallon AC Infinity pots with about an 1-1.5in layer of perlite at the bottom then Happy Frog and Perlite mixed in a 75/25 ratio layered over top of that up to the holes. Put the plants in the hole still inside their original pots so I could adjust the lights and get them used to their new places. ~Day 18~ Woke up to not much change with the plants other than some small growth in the mutated plant and the small sprout. Definitely time for a transplant and some nutrients so I prepped them for transplant. I mixed up my GH Trio along with some GH Cal-Mag and Ph-down all in distilled water along with a separate spay bottle of rooting powder diluted with Ph balanced distilled water to spray in the hole and on the root mass. The plants were very hard to get out of the small pots and the roots were sticking to the sides while the dirt was falling out around them so I had to cut open the pots and manually set them in. Not too messy but I was scared for the plants, I watered them both approx 250ml of the new nutrient mix along with the other 2 plants who got less. Will check back tomorrow. ~Day 19~ All the plants have exploded with growth since yesterday, the 2 biggest plants have perked up and grown a lot while the mutated has sprouted even more leaves and the little sprout now has its second set of leaves coming in. Everything looks great and I have more confidence in the grow now that I know the nutrients and environment is good for them. ~Day 20~ Lot of new growth continues and the transplant and feed seems to have worked really well. More leaves keep appearing and the growth seems to be going at a much faster rate as they grow older. Getting the other 2 plants ready for transplant tomorrow and I will feed them all again.

Starting to flush today I’m starting to see tichs starting to turn amber colored on the top of the main cola and 90% cloudy and about 40% of the pistles have changed color also
