👉Last week the plant was showing a little fade, and still had a fair amount of clear trichomes. There were only a scant few fresh pistols and the plant was slowly ripening. This week, after switching to the ripening nutrient mix, I did see the plant gain more typical autumn colors, and I saw the buds plump a little more. There is foxtailing but its frost as it can get. While the bud structure wont be something a dispensary might sell, I have never bought from a dispensary, and all my plants that have foxtailed still gave killer buzz. I am sure the colors are because the tent temps at night were in the mid 60s and perhaps a bit lower at times. Even some cooler temps during the day. The trichomes have pretty much gone mostly cloudy and the plant looks as ready as it can get. I plan on Harvesting either tonight or tomorrow. 👉I switched to the ripening mix this week and was probably a week slow to switching. I continued with the frequent fertigation all week and performed no ‘flushing’ per se. I did give it a couple of H20nly irrigation followed by full strength nutrient fertigation’s. The EC of run off was not spiking, but the pH was dropping noticeably so I used the irrigation and high volume fertigation’s to keep the media pH in the target range of mid to high 5’s. The plants roots are obviously very dense and it takes up to 10+ minutes to give it 3l of solution. 👉The aroma is very strong. It smells of the generic funky stank, with a pleasant sweet note. I vent directly outside and when the breezes are swirling it envelopes the outdoors with the skunky stank my wife hates. She exclaims daily how much it smells of a skunk outside. This makes me happy because I know Im doing it right! The aroma is strong enough that even strong winds can not blow the wonderful aroma away. 👉My phone doenst take the best pix, it distorts the actual color hues and I have adjusted some of them to be more accurate. The phone doesnt adjust to the grow lights to true colors. I will be harvesting the plant tommorow. so Next update will be when all harvest and cure data is complete in 6 weeks.

11/13 Was the last night I kept the dome in the tent, started getting too crowded! But here on 11/15....lol i got bored and wanted to give it some more nutes! 😏 So I made a gallon up of some warm tap water PH'd down to 6.1, 8ml of FoxFarms Big Bloom, 5ml Boomerang, 5ml Wholly Mackerel, and 2ml of Power Si followed up with a very low dosed foliar spray of Xtreme Gardening's CalCarb before it was lights out. 11/17 I did some topping including the main stem. In the video (its off my Instagram story @SoilBGood) there's one that I'm not too happy about, the taller one with the stretched out spacing. But I don't doubt that its gonna give me some dank buds 👊 11/20 The plants are looking sharp....I foliar fed them with some Calmag / Power Si and they blew up over night lol B: Is a shot of the node growth NOTE: I ALWAYS DEFOLIATE EVEN IF I FORGET TO MENTION IT. she stopped growing and now she's just getting fat, they eat only organically with earthworm humus and red bird guano...just wait for this flowers...

Week 12 Started on June 19, 2022 Finally recovered and lots and lots of defoliation happened, I am talking a compressed ball of leaves and stems the size of a softball. That means I got rid of most the weight below the buds, snipped the buds I didn't want to see straggling, and lollipopped colas -- left a few leaves on. Took a few clones to see what happens. She is doing well, more pics soon. I cleaned the reservoir again, fresh water, drained the autopot and made sure my Ph is 6.3 to 6.7 Adding weak calmag+ to deter the iron lockout I think I saw in early week 11, figuring out dosing now, might need a bit more. Not a ton of nutes added as the plant is progressing well, added a tiny amount of MOAB, also just thinking my single COB flower light is gonna be too weak on its own. We'll see it's early yet. Might need to turn on the supplemental light next week, old school HPS 150 Watt on its last grow. The heat will drive the humidity way way down, and that will be a good thing, just gotta crank the fans on high and no looking back after that. That will be 400 watts in a 3x3 -- HPS is hot as can be. Week 9 of flower, the buds are still showing white hairs and 50/50 clear/cloudy trichomes. Buds getting too heavy to hold themselves up! Tried out using a single scrog, I would definitely use two nets going forward.

Transplant during week 3 was a success! All 4 plants made it from their original solo cup containers into their 5 gallon fabric pots. Once in their larger pots, each plant was watered with 1 gallon of water/plant (no nutrient). Lighting was also brought back up to 30% this week as the leaf curling that was observed previously has subsided.

Compost tea turned out well and if your curious about the microscopy, check the comments on my GMP grow. No signs of senescence yet so no feed needed, they are in a second run of the same soil so there should be plenty in there from before. Not very resinous or smelly, with weird wide stumpy buds. Definitely my least fav pheno of any plant I've grown so far, but it's the end product we're after so she may yet surprise.
