Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Take 3 10th February 2022 Another Great week of flowering weather , even tho the daytime temps reach 40c the plants seem to be thriving 😀 with this one in particular 👌 I have not needed to add anything to this soil I made which goes to show that I made it almost perfectly this time around. One major difference to this lot is that I grew a crop of sweet corn in it last summer , followed by a full bed of leafy green vegetables such as Spinach , Kale , Silverbeet , Lettuce and Chard. I am now seeing the first signs that the girls need more but I am still waiting for the Guano to arrive 😏 Despite this She is cruising along really well and I predict a harvest in about 7 weeks . Fed her with extra seaweed to the mix. Unfortunately, she got burnt. I made the mistake of moving the light too close, overfeeding, and overusing 12% food-grade hydrogen peroxide. Conclusion: Well, onwards and upwards! I need to sort this out. Since I used hydrogen peroxide, flushing is a bad idea. I don't want to reactivate what's settled in the leaves and soil until it's no longer active. I removed all the badly damaged leaves, likening it to a necessary amputation, but luckily I'm at the early stages of flower. I'll keep a close eye on her. 25/01/2024 Mid-day Not looking good; the new growth is the same after the flush. 25/01/2024 Lights out! Can't believe I spoiled the grow, but she'll hopefully recover. The lights, particularly the sk600 and Cropmaster, are too intense and powerful. I'm wiring up a dimmer switch to reduce it to 420 watts. The Cropmaster will be removed until maturity as having over 1000 watts of LED in a small tent is too much. 26/01/2024 Mid-day Check Time! She's looking a lot better. Taking photos is a good calf workout and lower back exercise when shooting at 0.6x at 12m. Day 42....plants looking healthy and starting to bud nicely. Still just feeding organic spirulina

Start Woche 4 Blüte. Entwickeln sich gut. So langsam sind die ersten Trichome sichtbar und sie fangen an leicht zu riechen. Die beiden bekommen morgen noch ihren Composttee, sonst passiert grade nicht viel. Hin und wieder werden ein paar Blätter entfernt. 🍀

So this one started slow but healthy. She was a sativa that expected much more leg space and warmer humid climate which i fixed later. Needs LsT. I hit it with my concoction to keep her short it worked. Dense nugs especially for sativa hybrid. Not loud but tropical sweet. I needed 11 weeks min for flower could run 12 even though I seeded mine. Tiny sativa seeds like the original ibl bred by jaffa seeds uk and brought to me by Pevseeds. Not bad for under a cheap 120w led quantum and 3 gallon grow bag. I should have went with 5. The roots were amazing dense.

Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. Very nice this is my 4th run with triple and seems i have now mastered her! With extra supplements and additives i was able to acheive this beauty! She has very nice structure and potencty is up there! I recommend this to anybody!!! She smokes like 30% strain The Teprs are out of this world 😍 The buds looks 10/10

Big defoliation and lollipopping on day 18 flower. Now push Back und bulking Phase after. LO got a little stem split due to too heavy LST... Could fix it with wire and tape. Trichome developement starts now and the smell in the tent ist getting stronger. LO already with a nice citrusy and sweet aroma. Lights 100% Temp 25/20 Celsius RH 53-58 % VPD 1.1 - 1.4

Starts slow then bursts into flowering and really packs on the weight the last week or two. Last run I chopped at their reccomended 9 weeks—I’d say that’s about 2-3 weeks short of what you really need to get the full potential of this particular strain. I notice the buds have developed substantially more with the extra time and without losing trichromatic potency. At just about 12 weeks this time she is mostly 50/50 cloudy amber. Last time was mostly cloudy so I’m hoping this time it’s a bit more couchlocky. I’ll report back with photos and a smoke report after the dry and cure.

Dia 5 y las plantas ya muestran su primer par de hojas verdaderas que practicamente triplica en tamaño a los cotiledones y con un buen color verde. Pasaré a abonar conforme a la table de crecimiento y ph a 6 (algo menos realmente pero se estabilizará a 6 en las próximas horas). El ph mas y menos que uso es de boom nutrients que alguien me lo preguntó, tengo el de ghe pero como ya tengo las dosis pilladas con boom nutrients uso este, en teoría de ghe debería ser más estable pero tampoco es algo con lo que haya tenido problemas dia 10 - La planta sigue con su desarrollo, la forma de las hojas es un poco extraña pero a veces pasa en el primer o segundo par, espero que se corrija sólo y no sea una mutación extraña que vaya a mayores. He reducido un poco el riego para evitar el encharcam,iento del coco y que las raices lo tengan facil para crecer.

Este cultivo cada vez se esta viendo mas hermoso. Tercera semana de floración y aun mantienen su buen color (punto culmine en que la gran mayoría de los cultivadores noveles tienden a tener excesos o carencias). Como se puede apreciar, la automática fue distribuida solo en la parte inferior de la malla mientras que las fotodependientes ocupan toda la parte superior, distribuidas para que tengan la mejor producción posible. En la próxima semana, ya comenzaremos a aplicar PK Booster para darles en engorde que necesitan nuestras niñas.

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage. Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows. The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures). I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture). Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Things are looking decent. Bud sites are starting to get nice and hairy. The blackberry breath pheno in the center of the room is chunking up like crazy and quite a bit faster than the rest. It might finish early or just be a super thick pheno. I’m going to give a fish fertilizer nitrogen boost to all plants that are yellowing, including the nice blackberry breath pheno. I’ve started a new living soil pile. I took the left over super soil from some of the male plants, mixed in a generous amount of dry compost, worm castings and natures pride bloom, sprinkled a shit ton of great white and mixed it all up. I also recently got another brand of beneficial bacteria called Dr. Mary Janes. Mixed a good amount of that in. I also found a good mychorizzae called WOW Organics. I mixed up a ton and then sprinkled a layer on top. I grinded up some oatmeal and sprinkled another layer over the mykes. I then mixed up a full strength feed of some Alaska fish and molasses and then saturated the medium. In a month or so there should be a nice layer of mycelium over the top layer
