Well it would seem I'm addicted to growing as predicted. In the last week, I had a friend donate me a 2x4 tent. So I went ahead and grabbed an HLG 135w Rspec to compliment the 100w V2 3000K I already had. Set up the 2x2 as a veg room for next grow so I can get a perpetual garden going. Onto week 1 of flower nutes from Green Planet. Seems like my ideal inflow EC is 800. Still watering just twice daily at 6am & 6pm. Adding nutes in correct NER, adjusting EC then adding macronutrients as well as GPH at the end. Massive amount of growth going on now. Node stacking and branches coming up to join the canopy. Considered defoliation but if I'm going to do it, I'm going to wait until the girls pre flower. I do not want to interrupt photosynthetic growth and trigger the flower phase. Each day these plants stay in veg equals more weight in flower when we are all done. Added an Exhale bag. Science seems to dictate that additional co2 will not create any additional growth in a vented tent (like mine). Also, your lights need to reach a concentration of 1000µmols/m2 which mine do not. But I had already paid for the thing and had it shipped before learning this. Oh well, I'm sure it wont hurt! Keeping the lights up high to try and keep some stretch going. Hey y'all sorry I've been a little slow with the updates but life is busy... You know. Anyway let's check in on our Indoor girl. The flowering stretch is waaaaay under way she's grown almost double her height in the last two week. I've had a bend quite a few tall stems down. To keep her flat but there's flowers every where. Since we're only two weeks from harvest it's time to put away the Dutch Science and begin our flush. Lots of water and regular TDS checks of run off are the mission, a TDS value of less than 250 ppm is the goal. Week eight also means it's time to defoliate ,which is awesome cause this girl was looking very shabby. Now shes got that nice breezy up do. Looking forward to seeing what those Big Bud genetics can do for our beautiful Northern Lights. 😎🇨🇦

I Topped Dressed 5 Tbs of 2-8-4 & 2.5 Tbs of 4-4-4 & Feed 1 Tbs of Molasses in 1 Gallon water Feed

They all got topped last week and they responded very well and quickly as you can see...im going to let them grow this week and lollipop a little and maybe top next week.

Sep 13: took a second round of buds. Have now taken off 2 kg of wet buds with 1 kg fresh frozen and 1 kg done as ice water hash. This is equivalent to 500 g dry bids already taken off of this plant with another big chunk still to go. Very nice hard buds off of this plant.

At the end of the second week of bloom the Dough Boy feminised is doing well with no signs of deficiency. Her leaves are a stable green the stem is a healthy pale green and she has grown a stable 8cm. There’s signs of bloom with white stigmas appearing and she will receive feeding as required. Grow notes week 3 #1 This plant is healthy and thriving. She’s the first to show pistols which means I should change her status to flowering but I won’t do that until it’s pretty obviously in flower. She’s taking the training nicely and I think I’m starting to figure things out when it comes to training.. the trick is to simply SLOW DOWN. #2 is looking great! Her leaves are healthy and node spacing is just how I like it to look. She likes LST and seems happy with the maxi grow/bloom series. The roots on each plant are healthy and white #3 is getting greener each day but I’m starting to believe it’s either genetics or this nutrient line that’s causing this effect. #4 is the thickest and biggest plant of the bunch. However, she is displaying rust spots and potential calcium or iron deficiency on the lower older leaves. I may have to feed heavier on cal mag while running this nutrient line up. Decided to trim and chop after 29 hours ( don't ask.)Really messed up the stem this time. Haven't done that before. Happy with her, gotta keep eye on temp and rh. Second time growing this one, simple grow. Not sure why it took 104 days this time! Thinking basement may be too cold and realized I've probably had the lights too close on all of them. Now I know! It's a great strain, highly recommend. Didn't top this time, but she handled it well last time. Will grow again. Took me a lot longer to trim than expected, but was supposed to just do the fan leaves. Changed my mind halfway through.... Will update with weights and such when I can 3/9) Started dry trimming last night, finished this morning. Very sticky! Got more than I was expecting.

Everything went ok this week. They seem to still be drinking ok but not as much. The flowers are hard dense. I also notice the smell isn't as strong a week ago. This week I downgraded the tea to just molasses and my diy compost.

Week 25 overall, corresponding to week 3 of flowering for the Pineapple Upside Down. Flowering has now clearly declared itself. Bud sites are visible everywhere, with consistent pom-pom formation across the canopy. Despite being at a relatively early stage of bloom, terpene expression is already strong. Upon opening the tent, a distinct pineapple aroma is noticeable, which is very encouraging for such an early phase. Vegetatively, the plant will not recover its original leaf coloration. This is accepted at this point. However, flower development appears to be on track, and the plant is allocating energy toward reproductive growth rather than foliage recovery. A light defoliation was performed, along with the removal of lower, non-productive flower sites. This cleanup aims to avoid wasting energy on underdeveloped buds and to focus resources on the upper canopy. A fresh flowering nutrient solution was prepared. PK has been introduced lightly, in accordance with the Athena feeding schedule for week 3 of flowering. Electrical conductivity is set around 2.1 EC, with a target pH close to 6.0 to ensure stable nutrient uptake. Light intensity will be increased progressively, with PPFD moving toward approximately 600 to support proper bud development and flower density. Although the foliage remains visually poor, flower formation, structure, and aroma remain the key indicators at this stage. Given the short flowering time of this cultivar (around 45 days), timing is critical, and the next weeks will be decisive. The focus going forward will be on stability, controlled feeding, and optimized light management to extract the best possible outcome from this cycle.

Day 15. All girls will get either first or second feed. Upside down Kush was left in original pot, newwaver Kush was ripped with fingers from soil and transplanted to new pot, never will i have two plants in same pot ever again !!! And just couldn't throw out one ;))) Kushes got middle of the tent, think i will top them only, it will be too bushy with 11 heavily LST'ed plants. Think day 18 - first training day for 8 girls ;) Day 16. Girls are loving life - thats fact !. Now i have to rethink LST plan, thought to train them on day 18, but they grow so compact, that i have two options : A. Top them on 5 or 6 nod and train from there. B. Lift lights and induce vertical grow. But its such a tricky move, usually they repeate that overstreched patern even if you bombard them with light after ... C. Postpone LST to day 24-26. Never i did it so late, stem becomes very stiff, hard to bend her heavily ... Next few days will show ... Day 18. Girls are real beauty, they started to strech a bit, will give couple more days and will train them hard on monday. Day 20. Dice was rolled !!! LST !!! Girls are very compact, will be fun to veg them will have to plan well how to flatten up them. Kushes are behind, but i had to keep tent as dry as possible, need plants dry, otherwise stems crack from such heavy training. Put couple soft wires to lift leaves from soil .. Pure ph water and loads of spray now !!! Next few days will show ... Happy growing !!!
