Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. Week 8 Looking absolutely huge😂 They’re so tall and wide . Lots of healthy green leaves and strong roots. I was worrying a lot about sex issues as when I did my research I found out they’re quite common to hermaphrodite. Was really worrying but all calyx’s have female signs (so far🙏🏻) so pray for me brothers&sisters.

Topped them end of last week, still not given them feed as the farmyard manure they were planted straight into seems to be giving them what they need so far, I've given them rain water when they needed it. Hopefully the sun will return this coming week 🌞

This new week started better as with some flushes I brought the runoff back to 6.5/7, the plant seems to be growing well

Day 9 :These 3 ladies have been behaving well and settling in nicely to their new homes. I have initially only given them all a tea of boosts until yesterday when I started adding a little silicon and calmag and a few drops of superthrive. Today I further fed a half strength feed to the coco twins as well. The Los girl is showing a paler growth going on and I am hoping this sorts itself out now they have been fed a little. The charge and ecosystem take a couple of weeks to hit production from fresh potting so the teas will give them a kick start. Once she gets feeding on that scrummy Los grub below , I think she will fly. All in all they have not faltered for their 1st week and considering their surgery done well. I can certainly see a few front runners already among these Fast Bud beauties so let's watch the race hot up now rhet are on both Mars lights.The sp250 will be going on at the 1st signs of flowering so they have 600w full spectrum draw of led to veg with.

Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. most of the buds look to be turning darker and about 60-70% of the hairs are turning orange now and only some lower buds still have white hairs standingup. very close to chop day ! :) im trying to be patient on starting my next ones so i can use the tent to dry first but its hard !!! i started to get worried about the green stuff on the stem thinking it was algae or something so i started leaving the light on 24/7 to finish her off, wondering if i should harvest the done parts and leave the bottom 25%(ish) to finish maturing. any advice or comments are welcome and very appreciated! i have 2 bubba kush photoperiod seeds, and the rest are autoflowers so i think i will save the photos until i get a few more grows under my belt or another tent. i have 1 purple punch, 4 bloody skunk, 1 forbidden runtz, and 1 gorilla cookies that i have to choose from for my next grow. what do yall think i should pick? since i have 4 bloody skunk i may just do 1 of those and 1 of the fastbuds.

THURSDAY - Day 22 10 October 24 - Switched the blue spec light out for the red spec light. - 380 PAR/ PPFD at 26 inches distance. - Topped the two bottom branches. - Started doing a little LST by adding a few staples and a little bit of branch manipulation. - She’s slowly shaping to my vision for this plant. - Gotta start thinking of up potting her soon into her final home. FRIDAY - Day 23 11 October 24 - Added two more LST staples. - Just a day under the lights. SATURDAY - Day 24 12 October 24 Watering day, 1 litre of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 1 litre - 61.1 PPM Final - 1 litre at 6.45 PH at 62.8 PPM Runoff - N/A - Thinking of removing those giant fam leaves soon, they’re becoming cumbersome. - Did my final planned topping of the two top branches. - I tweaked a top branch and there was a pop at the knuckle, not a complete break but there’s a bit of damage. - I’m fairly confident that she’ll send resources to fix it and make it even stronger. - No stress, we push forwards and roll with the punches cause that’s what we do around here. This is effectively the end of week four, it’s been quite eventful but we’re done with topping and transplanting so we’ll see how she gets on these next few weeks of pure unadulterated vegetation.
