I defoliated the 3 plants to give some light to all the branches. I broke one branch of the Cashew Kush during the watering. I inadvertently pulled on one of the string used for LST with the bottle cap. I also noticed that another branch of the Cashew Kush broke because of the LST, but the tip is still attached to the rest of the branch. I already broke 3 branches of this poor Cashew Kush so far, sorry little plant 😞 I also almost completely broke one branch of the Jack Herer but since it was still attached a bit, I've tried to fix it with some tape and wire. I already did that in the past and it worked but this time the extremity of the branch did not make it 😔 I'm now watering every 2 days. No fertilizer yet. Due to increasing humidity before defoliation, I put the fan ON 18h/day again. Humidity was around 65% before the defoliation and 62% after. For the last days of the week, I set the dehumidifier to 50%. I slightly reduced the light intensity from 75 to 70% to try to reduce the light burns of the top leaves. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es muy fácil de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado muy bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que está bien explotada y que va repleta de tricomas. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue sucficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. There was a visible attack this week. The temperature is between 25-27, the humidity varies between 60-65. There was a slow development due to excessive irrigation and I could not do LST due to the distance of the room to me. I am planning to fall leaves next week.

Starts slow then bursts into flowering and really packs on the weight the last week or two. Last run I chopped at their reccomended 9 weeks—I’d say that’s about 2-3 weeks short of what you really need to get the full potential of this particular strain. I notice the buds have developed substantially more with the extra time and without losing trichromatic potency. At just about 12 weeks this time she is mostly 50/50 cloudy amber. Last time was mostly cloudy so I’m hoping this time it’s a bit more couchlocky. I’ll report back with photos and a smoke report after the dry and cure.

This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody! The buds are developing nicely and some pistils started to turn orange. I tested different things for the watering this week to avoid having too dry soil or too much excess water. The Wedding Cheesecake continues to have yellow leaves at the bottom despite the add of some biogrow. Overall it looks ok and the buds are growing so I'm not too concerned. I saw no particular issues due to the light leak from last week.

I needed some CDB, I really push a lot of THC in my body and I feel the need to balance this thing a bit. I asked my friends at Zamnesia cpsa for advice on growing and I got this really beautiful plant, a pleasure to grow in the F1 Hybrid Automatic version and we have two plants. The one you see in most of the photos that was worked with a main lining that I would say was successful is very beautiful in structure and has a fast flowering such that we are moving on to the green sensation. Unfortunately we have been a bit over fertilized and we are carrying some aesthetic defects, but nothing particularly worrying I am sorry for the unsightly yellowing of the tips of the leaves. Of the other one left to grow straight I will only put a few photos in the growbox and as soon as it is ready however it will have the full service like the others, the plants worked with the techniques have stolen a bit of the scene from the plants left to grow straight which are naturally finishing a bit earlier. We are still using 100% organic soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron. We are still in the early flowering program that keeps the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation hero of the late flowering will arrive and at the same time it will be time to remove power roots and a week later the enzymes. I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Overall very pleased. All the leaves are dark green and the plants are looking very happy. I’m giving them a couple more days before they are flipping into flower. All of them handle defoliation really well but Somango is a little to bushy to really do any organized Lst. I will try after Defoliation next week and give her a bit more surface area.
