This first week was pretty rough. I originally started with one seed and one clone. The seed never sprouted because I think that I over watered it. So I went and got another clone so that they will be a little more close in age when it’s time to harvest.. day 1 I over watered and then as soon as it dried up 3 days later I over watered again. The leaves started to yellow and flop down . I spoke to someone at the grow shop and they told me that I’m using too much light and that I watered way too much. So I turned off one of the 2 150 watt lights and I drained all of the run off in the collection tray. Now I’m not watering until completely dry . I’ve seen a little bit of growth it’s been 3 days for the apples and bananas and that one looks good so far. Also Today I noticed white forming on the dirt around the sides of the flower pot? Is this mold? And if so how can I safely get rid of it? . After draining excess water and turning off one of the lights 2 days later The doc og is already starting to look better the leaves are turning up and I think I’m starting to see a little growth

Devo dire che le due Gorilla RQS sono contente e stanno bene nei loro nuovi vasi da 11 L ed in confronto a settimana scorsa sembrano più sane e in forma, purtroppo sono stato quasi una settimana senza misuratore PH perché mi dava problemi e quindi per una volta non ero effettivamente sicuro quanto era bilanciata la soluzione ma penso di non aver fatto danni…andiamo avanti, ieri ho sciacquato solo con acqua a PH 5.9/6 e ora aspetto che asciuga bene questa volta salgo con EC e arrivo intorno a 1250…vediamo come reagiscono 🧐😶‍🌫️

These were quite an experience to grow. My second grow ever and they are great. I loved the way they flowered and how they responded to topping. They absolutely loved it. I would 10/10 grow again. Strong genetics and a very strong high.

Week 9 – Bloom in Full Swing! We’ve reached Week 9, and our Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds is thriving! She now stands tall at around 70 cm, with a strong structure and wide canopy supported by the SCROG net. The training and care are clearly paying off — she's growing vigorously and looking beautiful. Mostly the same conditions. I have one girl that’s maturing more quickly than the other. Struggling through what I believe is a phosphorus deficiency in both plants. It happened literally overnight. I’m hoping this doesn’t hurt my yields too badly

A lot going on this week!! Feeding 3 quarts every Sunday and Wednesday at this point. I did a light defoliation on Monday and did a more thorough defoliation on Friday! I opened up a lot of bud sights and it shows in the pics from late in the week!! I just turned the fan and carbon filter on. Temps are currently holding at 73-74F and the humidity is between 43-45%. I'm very happy with that! I hope to keep them both happy!! Enjoy!

I've observed signs of lockout whenever the EC (Electrical Conductivity) level rises above 1.7. Thankfully, the pH levels are stable, so no concerns there. After some experimentation, I believe we've found her sweet spot at an EC of 1.5. This delicate balance is key to maintaining her health and vigor. Despite the challenges, she continues to develop beautifully. The buds are light yet densely packed with trichomes, creating a spectacular frosty appearance. It's truly a sight to behold as they cake up all around, showcasing the plant's remarkable genetic potential. One consequence of the recent nutrient lockouts is chlorosis, leading to a significant loss of leaves. After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.

Pulled the shorter of the 2 Sater day week 11 flower the tall one I’ll flush next week and give her 2 weeks for 13 weeks of flower total! Found one seed on the branch I pollenated with FW10 on the short one I have drying !!

On day 13 they recieved higher nutriens EC 1 PH 6.4 Topped 4 plants on day 17 On day 17 I gave them another too hot nutrients solution EC 1.8 PH 6.5 can see some problems (in my opinion its nuts burn due not me realizing that soil was already a bit pre-fertilized + pushing everything too far due to its my first grow I found out at day 17, when I saw first signs - sadly I topped them that day and I brought them a lot more stress 😒 Transplanted plants into final 15l pots on day 20 Right now they are getting RO water only, will feed on day 22 again with EC of 0,9 I will aim for 6.2 PH as well EDIT: couple of people confirmed nutrients burn, so since I transfered 1l pots into 15l fresh lighmix, I will not feed until day 26 - they will get only hydro roots with RO water EDIT2: Forgot to write info about my light schedule - running lights at 240W and right now I am hitting around 375 PPFD with 18hrs on - so that is around 24.3 DLI :) I am checking it with LUX meter and converting to PPFD - then DLI
