I'm very happy with the outcome, outdoors this time around. It's my largest plant to date and it smokes great! I randomly gave this strain a try as it's packed with great genetics and it did not disappoint. It grew large considering the time it had to grow. It was constrained by a medium amount of sun light per day (4-6hrs) and it's pot size (40L) the roots were tightly packed I used bio fertilizers Bio buzz grow Peruvian seabird guano and organic potassium for veg Biobizz bloom top max compost teas in flower It smokes and taste great already. I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de Floración puse 12 horas de luz, el foco está al 80% de potencia. De momento va creciendo, tiene buen color y va progresando. Comentar que superaron el estrés hídrico porque subí par de grados por la noche y va volvió a comer normal . 8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. Temps dropped by 10-17 degrees- especially at night. Have not given any nutrients, just hose water. She seems to be doing fine. Ipm weekly and the cold is making her slow down a touch. Other than that, the frost is developing nicely and countering all this plant has been through with the temp swings, bouts of rain, bouts of dryness, wind, sun, no sun, etc- I should get a decent little harvest! Smell is divine! Has these sweet vanilla pine aromas with a deep purple bud. Probably chopping next week!🏻💚

Burnt the shit out of her. I'm not to happy about it. But she will be fine. Just loosing time. My fault, I gave her 730+ ppm, I'm getting sloppy. She will recover. Greenhouse is ready. So the move is on.

Strong smell and bulk to the colas. 70/30 orange:white hairs. Lots of milky trich's when looking thru a scope. Not many amber, if any, do I know we close. Thinking I'll harvest next weekend based on today.

I ended up over watering while flushing from the nute burn, as i finished the flush i did a calmag feed and my deficiency got worse. Not sure what’s going on here!! But buds are stacking nicely and getting dense. The tall plant looks to be a week or 2 ahead of the bushy plant

I wanted to try a grow by the breeders earlier recommendation, and with this being an 8 week sativa, I HAD to try it. The effects at week 8 are HEAVY! The only downside is that the high only lasts for about an hour to an hour and a half, and then starts winding down for about an hour before being level again, and I don’t blame the strain, I blame myself for not waiting longer, but I wanted to see how the plant would be affected. The terps on both are consistent, and similar to the 3rd I’m currently growing in a different cycle. The genetics seem super stable and I will definitely keep a stock of clones and seeds for ZDF. Only down side is the hunger this girl has over the other plants, she EATS during flower.

The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? I haven’t been able to check the room during 4 days, one plant has a Nitrogen excess, and the other one run out of P-K, Mg. Check the video, it’s not often that this situation happens, so let’s learn to diagnose the situation. The plant with banana peels style leaves is a Nitrogen excess, it start with the tips of the leaves pointing down, like claws, then it turns into some old bananas peels looking. The other one, with the crispy looking leaves is a lack of P-K, it starts with some kind of dark brown/purple stripes marks on the leaves with the tips starting to points up + a lack of Mag , the leaf is cupping like a taco shell ! The game now is to loose less yield than possible on those two ladies, but from now it’s already 25% gone .... This is a good example to show that every plants are different, all of them are running on the same diet, all others plants are doing great except those 2. Morality is to check your plants daily, those problems can be fixed before it happens, when you know how to diagnose the primary symptom 😉 Week 3 trimming !!! You must clean your plants legs and cut off all the lil shoots, in the bottom, that haven’t reach the top ! Main goal to keep in mind is to spend all the energy on the top, cleaning the legs will help to avoid wasting energy on the bottom of your plants Once again, Mars-Hydro has definitely improved their performance, the shoots structure of the plants under the SP-250 is amazing. The plants have developed so many shoots compared to the plants under the HID’s , it’s really remarkable ! (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

Going to let her sit in darkness for a day or two and giving it one good flush with some cold water. She is about 15% amber. Sorry these pic suck— I broke my iPhone 8 which takes way better pictures than the new 13 pro. Go figure! So these are a touch grainy. The smells coming off this plant are amazing and unique—- like a soapy candy funk. I never grew anything quite like it. I have 3 more seeds and I am going to have to pop them for sure. Not too happy with how this plant grew ultra short without any stretch at all, but I only grew one out. Buds are nice and dense so it has a lot of potential. Chopping in a few!
