31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water).

And we have arrived at the magic moment for our autoflowering plants, the Zamnesia elves are working their magic and the buds are composing and freezing in the night. A scent of paradise invades my house now. --- Our Black Orchids are beautiful and different from each other. I imagined they were similar until a few days ago but then one started flowering more quickly and kept the main cola quite aligned with the lateral buds; the other instead started a mega central brunch and stands up to 130 cm tall. What we like most is that it seems to be bringing out dark buds. I don't want to bring bad luck but here we are waiting for a Black with fingers crossed, touching wood and everything necessary. Beautiful, tall and powerful, she will still be a champion. Jack Herer nugs have swelled up nicely, critical purple and brain cake have a nice terpene profile and are getting some purple colors. Amnesia lemon putting out a pungent lemon smell, will be great for extracts with amazing flavor. Also looking like it’ll go an extra week before getting harvested with the others in 3 weeks.

An diesem Grow will ich beobachten, was schlussendlich die bessere Methode ist (TOPPING , VS FIMMING) Alle 4 Pflanzen sind gut in die 3 Woche gekommen. 2 Pflanzen sind ein wenig kleiner geraten als die anderen beiden, deshalb habe ich die zwei kleineren Pflanzen in zwei 11 L Töpfe gepflanzt wo sie bis zum Ende bleiben. SONNTAG: Heute wurden die beiden größeren Ladys gefimmt, die zwei kleineren wurden getoppt. Eine von den größeren Ladys habe ein bisschen mehr gewellt. Die habe ich einwenig entlaubt da ich nach der zweiwöchigen Pause mit LST weiter machen will. Ich bin voller Hoffnung das alle meine Babys das Training heile überstehen, drückt die Daumen.😁 MONTAG:

These Kritial-K are my absolute favorite in the tent, once this grow is over we may buy sevral packs of this.. they're easy, forgiving and look to be massive producers with a little training.. Verdict is still out on smoke quality but if its anything like our last Kannabia strains, its prob a winner.. ( DAY 39 AND IT SHOWS ZERO DEFICIENCIES ) IM ALSO DOING VERY LITTLE, SLIGHT DEFOLIATION This is more of a personal note So this is my first Autoflower grow , now the one advantage of an auto is the speed to which its life span will go , so in doing my homework on the Auto's life span the pros and cons , I choose to keep her short at the start and not add any stress and maximize her cycles and in doing this I was surprised at how fast she went into Flowering, NL 2 day 21 and NL 1 on day 26 , I will say this, i really am liking the speed and vigorous growth of this northernlights autoflower in general and becoming a huge fan.... ENDING WEEK 4, THEY SEEM TO BE HAPPY. QUESTION? WHEN SHOULD I TOP THESE GIRLS. ?

Day 50: 150ml water per day, 18/6 light schedule, approx 50% humidity, fertilization on Monday, Wednesday and Friday happens with BioBizz family and on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with bat guano and Epsom salt. They like the new Marshydro 600W. Their height are different between 15 and 45 cm. Day 55: This tent is crazy :D All of them okay, especially Critical Orange Punch is a monster above all. Sour Stomper is cute, and the rest of them just keep flowering. Hopefully their buds will be nice thick :)

Aquí seguimos, separamos ya los machos y nos quedamos con 5 hembras de las 9 que seleccionamos. Más del 50% muy contento. Durante estas 2 semanas hemos estado luchando contra una pedazo de plaga de mosquitos que hemos sufrido. La cosa parece que mejora pero habrá que estar muy atentos. La floracion va en camino podría ser mucho mejor pero la plaga ha hecho sufrir a las plantas. Iremos actualizando. Buenos humos.

Busy week this week, both in the garden and in life, hence the later update than usual. Early week gave the girls a good leaf stripping on the inside of the plants. Also removed any scraggly growth that was not getting any sun. As usual really helped open them up to more airflow and light penetration. At start couldn't even see the sun through them! Next day both looked great with no visible signs of stress. Now I'll say it was a VERY hot week this week, daytime highs 32°C feeling like 42°C with 90% humidity and the girls were thirsty AF, dropping heavy every night, . Watering every evening, hose on full soaker setting for 3 minutes per plant, roughly 35 liters of water each! Even with all the water, the bigger plant was looking sad, and I had a sneaking suspicion that it just did not have enough root space. So I tuned into my inner MacGyver again, and came up with a solution. Using no nails or screws, I was able to fashion a 3x3 bed for her! All thanks to growing on plastic skids. Just slid 2x4 PT into the slots in a 3x3 square, and then slid 1/2" PT sheet (cut to size) on the inside of the wood. Afterwords cut the fabric pot, and lay it down to make the perfect base inside the new bed to prevent soil from coming out. Topped it up with three wheel barrow of garden soil that I had left from the spring load, watered and hoped my idea worked. The next day, she's looking happier than ever, and I haven't seen a droopy leaf on her since! Now she's really ready to bring on some serious bud weight. Mentioning that, I also added the second layer of horizontal trellis, as well as vertical trellis around the smaller plant. Temps look cooler for the next two weeks, and not much of any rain forecast, even though we desperately need it. At least with forecast being 25°C highs and 10°C lows the girls should slow down on water intake, trying to conserve where we can right now but got a keep them fed. Until next week!

Run-off got pretty high on the plants in the main tent when I tested it this week (2300ppm) so I flushed the plants down to around 900 over a few water events with half-strength nutes (~450). I think this, plus (mainly) the plants being too close to the LED caused them to throw some foxtails - particularly the middle plant (although I still think that spindly shit is also partly due to the bag seed pheno). Noob mistake on my end and I didn't realize until it was too late. Now the light is turned down and the run-off is back in a good range. It got high because my auto-watering halos were mostly running off the pots and not sinking in - this is because I filled the pots to the brim with coco (another noob mistake). Looks like I'm hand watering until harvest :) Big Mumma in the blurple tent on the other hand is still killing it.. Apologies for having to upload videos of the microscope - too hard to hold it still and press the button for photos lol.

6/18/22 Today starts week 5, and the beginning of the mid-bloom nutrients, step 3. Jackie has had a little explosion in growth the last few days, and is now standing 16 inches tall. She is currently positioned 14 inches below the light at 100% power. She took half a gallon of water mixed with the following nutrients: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 4.7 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 8.5 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml The pH was 6.2, and was not adjusted. She had plenty of runoff with a pH of 6.0. The tent temperature was 86.9F, and humidity was 40%. Jackie is doing wonderful, and her small size is growing on me when all of her tent mates are giants! Happy growing everyone! 6/20/22 Jackie is doing awesome! She’s grown another 2 inches in just 2 days! She’s now 18 inches tall. I made a video log today, and I believe that I mistakenly said she is 19 inches, but I was incorrect. She’s 18 inches tall. No biggie, but I do like to be precise. I defoliated her today, taking most of her larger leaves off to open more space for light to get to all her buds. This little auto is starting to grow on me with the ease of growing that she provides. She’s small, but still looks like she’s going to produce a decent amount of bud. I’m still using the same level of nutrients as the previous note, so I’m not going to repeat them here. The initial pH was 6.2, and was not adjusted. Runoff was sufficient, and the pH was 6.1. The tent temperature was 84.2F, and the humidity was 52%. Things are going well in my grow room, and I hope the same for all of you. Happy growing everyone! 6/23/22 Despite my not giving her any attention for 2 days, Jackie is continuing to grow and develop her buds into pure goodness. At least I hope it’s pure goodness! She’s a new cultivar for me, and I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with her soon. Jackie has grown another 1.5 inches in the last 3 days, and is now 19.5 inches tall. She received half a gallon of water mixed with the following nutrients: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 4.7 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 8.5 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml The pH was 6.3, and not adjusted. She had plenty of runoff, with a pH of 6.0. The tent is crowded, but she has her own spot and gets plenty of airflow. The tent temperature was 85.1F, and the humidity was 51%. Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing good. She was just lollipopped today. I also selectively defoliated her canopy. She was very bushy and dense with leaves. She is developing well, and should start bulking soon. Nothing more to report at the moment.
