Flowering Week 24: Autumn Whispers & Yellow Leaf Mysteries Update: 28.08.2025 | Day 171 What’s good, Growmies? Hope your own gardens are treating you right as summer starts to fade. Temps are dipping to around 20°C here, and the ladies are feeling the shift. Didn’t do much this week – sometimes less is more. Noticed a few things, though: Zero pests – and I mean clean – but up on Blueberry’s top budsites, some yellow leaves are showin'. Doesn’t look like nitrogen – more like iron maybe? Wondering if the Bokashi juice dropped the pH a bit too hard. Thought about breakin' out the mineral nutes (Terra Aquatica TriPart flashed through my mind), but nah… I’m stickin' to the organic path. What do you guys think? Durban Poison Buds are bulkin' up nice – fattenin' by the day. Purple pistils poppin’ on every cola. Looks killer. Deeper inside the canopy, some lower yellow leaves (classic nitrogen fade), but nothin' to stress over. She’s healthy where it counts. Blueberry Still stretchin' – slowly but surely. More pistils showin' now, and yeah, those calyxes are takin' on a sweet purple hue. Smell’s still light – neighbors are safe… for now. Next Steps - Keep an eye on that iron-like yellowing – act if it spreads - Stay vigilant for pests tryna hide in new buds - Keep pickin' off old leaves – mold prevention is key - Maybe one more light defoliation on Durban – open her up just a touch more That’s all for this week, folks. I made a concoction of living soil using ingredients I could find of subcools formula. Theoretically all i need to add is ph balanced water. And a tea once I decide to flower. I'm waiting for some gadgets[ph and moisture meters]to come in before doing any extensive watering.

Day 29 (2020-06-07): Changed out reservoir (5.6 PH). Picked up some 3% H2O2 so added 3ml/gallon to help combat some of the growth I am getting. Also wiped down the outside of the fabric pots to kill the mold. Did some new LST and defoliation to even things out. CBD Crack is in pre-flower. The G14 might be a bit behind. Day 30 (2020-06-08): Reservoir PH around 5.65. Removed a leaf or two and did some tucking. Day 31 (2020-06-09): PH at 5.8. The G14 Blumat drip tube had gotten stuck in the dirt and was not dripping. Hand watered back to normal. Some slight LST adjustments to even things out and removed a few leaves. Day 32 (2020-06-10): PH at 5.96. Yellow leaf tips on newer growth haven't really gotten any better. I am also noticing some other yellow and brown spotting on older leaves. I am not as worried about the spotting since it is likely related to previous PH fluctuation that has been taken care of but I am now wondering if the yellow tips are something new. Maybe the start of nutrient burn? I do not believe it is light related since I adjusted this a few days ago. Day 33 (2020-06-11): After some helpful advice from the community I checked the calibration of my PH pen and found it off by about .5! This must have happened sometime in the last week or two but would explain the issues since as a result my PH was adjusted way to low (around 4.9 to 5). FIxed pen, flushed plants and changed out the reservoir. Hopefully things will get back on track. Also took the opportunity while I had the plants out to even out the LST and do some more defoliation. Day 34 (2020-06-12): Things are looking OK. I am not sure if the yellow on the tips will go away but it is not getting worse. Reservoir PH is at 5.75. Day 35 (2020-06-13): Res PH at 6.1 but slight smell. Probably will have to change out tomorrow. Things are looking good for the plants. G14 is definitely behind on flowering compared to the CBD.

Do Si Dos is one of Zamnesia's favorite strains, this time we grew it in the F1 Hybrid Automatic version and we have two plants. The one you see in most of the photos that was worked with a main lining and due to its characteristics of low internodal distance and the slightly cold climate it remained in Bonsai style. It will not be a huge production but from the structure and the start of flowering we are ready to bet that it will be beautiful. We are still in the early flowering program that maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom.
