Hello Diary, The third week of vegetation has ended, which is also the beginning of flowering. As you can see in the photos, Milky Way has started to form flowers which is normal for automatics after 3 weeks of vegetation. Milky Way is developing nicely, it grew about 10 cm in a week and got a lot of new leaves. The bright spots that were on some of the leaves have disappeared, which is good news. I started to feel a slight smell, which also makes me happy :). This week I also did minimal defoliation, I removed only the lowest leaves to make it easier to water and improve the air flow through the plant itself. When it comes to watering, it is not frequent, about every 4 days. This week I added one tablet of Easy Grow Booster. The conditions on the farm are excellent I would say, the temperature is around 26 degrees while the humidity is around 50%. Here's how it looked this week. 16/05/2023 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and dissolved one Easy Grow tablet and with that amount of water I watered all three plants equally. 19/05/2023 - Day 20. First, I did a minimal defoliation, removing only the bottom leaves to make watering easier and improve air flow through the plant a bit. After that I watered all three plants. 20/05/2023 - Day 21. Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. End of week 6, pistils started to form so I decided to switch to a 12/12 light cycle and move them in the tent. Defoliated both, and did LST on one and super crop the other.

El ciclo fué perfectamente desde el principio. Bien es cierto que puse dos plantas y una fué la que tiró realmente bien. Se realizó una poda apical que respondió perfectamente creando dos grandes puntas y con un pequeño LST conseguimos ajustar el resto de ramas a la misma altura para que crecieran uniformemente y la luz les diera de igual manera a todas las puntas. All the plants are in various stages of flowering so it is starting to smell very interesting in the closet. The soil is becoming hydrophobic which makes watering an even more laborious task than it already is. I suspect the rewards will be well worth it though.

We're close to harvest, the smell is amazing! The buds are covered in trichomes. The leaves around are resinous too, making for a nice ice extraction. I'm thinking about a seed partnership with Royal Queen Seeds; do you think they would grant me that honor?

Day 56 alle 3 Pflanzen haben die letzte regnerische Woche sehr gut überstanden. Apple Fritter ist 72cm hoch und bildet schöne Buds. Runtz F1 ist 60cm hoch und hinkt ein wenig hinterher. GG#4 ist immer noch in der Wachstumsphase und scheint ein Monster zu werden. Der Stamm ist sehr dick im Vergleich zu den anderen zwei. Zusätzlich gieße ich die Babys seit 2 Tagen mit Canna Terra Flores. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Wachstumsphase und Übergang in die Blütephase. Ohne Lampe zu dieser Jahreszeit ein gutes Ergebnis wie ich finde.

This are pictures taken on the first day into the fifth week of flowering for closet plant and seventh week of flowering for window plant. I've kept my daily routine of plucking anything that looks as male growth on window plant (After the first plucking session, I can hardly find any nanners). Also had a moment of OCD in which I tried to find all swollen bracts that contained anything similar to a developing seed. I read that plucking baby seeds out is not really helpful, quite the opposite actually. But I really wanted to learn to identify this sort of growth. I did find quite a few of them (and I'm pretty sure I caused some damage to the buds), but I still think that the plant will yield a decent harvest for my expectations. If anything, it's been a great learning experience. Closet plant doesn't seem to be pollinated at all (I mist the air around both plants quite often to prevent this) , and its growth continues to amaze me. I think it's yield will probably double WP's harvest. This week I dropped window plant's feeding. Giving it Bloom mix that's got way less nutrients. And starting on friday of this same week I'll start flushing the roots (this will continue for it's last 10 days). I'm super excited about this last weeks for both plants. Next will be window plant's last week of life!! Harvest is so close! I think I'll actually miss them.
