Wondering if the yellow burn and brown burn are from nutrients or from lighting? Plants seems to be doing fine. Is the smaller of the two. Left plant , I LSTd. Just wondered if it is too much?

Hello So usually with nutrient burns you'll see tip burn, the claw, and then it progresses. I don't see tip burn, but i do see some clawed leaves. So maybe Do a small flush, and then come in with less nutrients...especially your nitrogen. Your brown spots could be the beginning of a calcium need...personally i saw a huge improvement in my leaves when I actively use a calmag supplement. As for your lst...it looks good. Just keep it slightly loose so no branches break and keep on tying.👍

Did a full reservoir change today and cut the nutrients in half In order to combat the deficit. The calmag won’t be here until Thursday. Rookie mistake. I should have had it on hand. Did a little more LST, but some of the coals are getting thick and I don’t want them to break. It appears they are starting to flower though. Ears are open to any suggestions. Added CalMag yesterday and hopefully that clears up the leaf discoloring.

This week has been a battle with the humidity levels and I need to purchase a dehumidifier. This week I am so thankful the amnesia seeds never took in week one because I think I would have been completely overwhelmed inside this tent. It’s looking like two plants is going to be crowded, but we’ll see in the end. Looking back, there could have been a lot more LST done as well. Being my first grow, I wanted to just kind of let the process happen with minimal assistance. As you can see the plant on the left is thriving. I feel like it continues to stretch daily! I have been running the lights at 75% up until last night I switched them to 100% for as long as I can control the heat and humidity.

The humidity this week has been brutal. It appears I have a little bit of mold stating just on the fan leaves at the base of the plant. Waiting on a dehumidifier to arrive. Hopefully this doesn’t affect the plant too much. The plant on the right continues to stretch, but as you can see I’m running out of room. Not sure what I’ll do if it continues to stretch! Any suggestions welcome!

Humidity this week has still been high, but luckily the dehumidifier was set up last night so hopefully within the next couple days it will be regulated. I LST’d more this week to just try and contain the buds from getting burnt. Clearly I underestimated the size of the tent and should have went bigger. Also defoliated a few of the base leaves and buds as per member comment. They seemed to have taken the stress just fine.

Tried to thin these guys out as much as I could this week due to the humidity. It has helped a little. Probably could have done more, but inexperience stopped me. Buds are getting thicker and have become sticky to the touch of the skin. It got full nutes this week, but I’m leaning on flushing out over the next two weeks.

The humidity continues to be very high and even the small humidifier I put inside the tent isn’t bringing it to where I need to be. Probably going to go out and get a dehumidifier to cover the entire basement or vent it out my next grow. Either way, it doesn’t seem to be harming them too much. It’s finally stopped stretching and the buds have started to fatten. Orange hairs are starting to show and most of the buds are sticky to the touch ( even brushing my arm up against them). Still defoliating a little each day to see if that helps with the humidity.

Buds have really started to fatten up over the last week and half. Very sticky to the touch. Bud hairs are mostly curled up and have a nice amber color. It has battled the humidity issues very well. Harvest is right around the corner. Plans are to start flushing next week.

What’s everyone’s take on flushing out autos? I’ve read some mixed reviews. Being my first grow, I am willing to experiment.

i just use ice water, this brings out the colors if the strain has any, i flush with just the water for 2-3 weeks. i have tried the no flush and it still smoked and tasted the same. Ice water is free and easy to do. buying extra nutrients from companies that say it helps flush this and that are only out to take your money and you should nt buy in to that. water is free

Decided one more week of flower. Replenished with nutrients on Monday. Will replenish with just straight water for the rest of the week. If needed, I will change the reservoir water to give it more of a flush. Plan is to harvest next week and start the curing! Excited to see how my first grow changed .

09/23-UPDATE So it’s been roughly 2 weeks since I harvested. Hung upside down for 10 days in a 60% environment. Most of the crop is being cured with boveda packs and the others are just in glass jars. I harvested some thick buds and also some lighter, less dense buds. I’d say a 50/50. Being my first time, I know looking back I could have managed the plant better to produce better buds. Despite the humidity issues, I found this grow to be productive for my first one. Has just a light fruity smell and a smooth smoke. Definitely a cerebral high that’s good for all day use. Some of the more dense buds have a light blueberry scent to them, but nothing overpowering and that is mostly on my part. Overall I ended up with 306 grams, NOT including the gallon zip lock of just trim. Look forward to starting to next one with some new

Looking good man 👍 thinning that bush out a little might help with your humidity levels and improve air circulation.Best of luck with the grow🌱😀✌️

@HappyGrowMore, If you remove a few every day or 2 there should not be too much stress to your plant you can also remove some of the lowest bud sites that are too buried to ever mature. Good luck 😀 ✌️

@Inganjawetrust, thanks! Should I just trim some fan leaves at the base? I just didn’t want to stress it too much, but i know it needs it.

Holy smokes! I have a little blueberry auto bush in flower right now! Yours is four times the size!!!

HappyGrowMorecommented4 years ago
@ChitownCannaChica, that was just one of my plants. The other one was smaller and overtaken by the big one! There is some decent size buds though that I’m excited to trim up!
