Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Day 94 - today the temperature inside the tent dropped to 10-12 degrees Celsius. So it's harvest time. I trimmed almost all the leaves and hung the plant in a dark place to dry at a temperature of 12 degrees. This is not enough, but unfortunately there are no other conditions. Drying may take longer than the usual 10-12 days. The plant itself has stretched almost a meter in height, the roots are also impressive.

Hallo und herzlich willkommen am Anfang der 2ten Blütenwoche Einiges viel zum Wochenende an. Darunter viel, dass wir eine große Population an Trauermücken durch eine Nematoden- Kur und Gelb wie auch Blautafeln in den Griff bekommen mussten. Bisher obwohl wir es auch schon mal erwähnten, haben wir bis hierher von dem Neemöl- Extrakt noch nichts verwendet, da die Pflanzen ohnehin schon zu dem Zeitpunkt arg angeschlagen waren. Dahingehend haben sie sich alle gut erholt. Da unsere Liter Vorräte an Dünger nun doch kurz vor Ende nicht mehr alle samt top waren, sind wir jetzt auf das JU JU Royal Programm von Biobizz umgestiegen. Was soll man sagen, wenn man wem Vertrauen kann auf dieser Ebene, dann sicher Julian Marley 😇 Gestern Abend dann haben wir das Lollipopping unter der Voraussetzung Sauberes bzw. Desinfiziertes Arbeitswerkzeug wie natürlich auch Handschuhe vollzogen. Es war jetzt das insgesamt 3te mal das wir sie entlaubt/ gestresst haben. Was aber auch wichtig ist, es tut ihr ja gut und daher verwöhnt man sie auch wieder rum^^ Wir haben ca. 20 % entfernt, alles was Licht abbekommt und Sonnensegel blieben stehen. So ist bewerkstelligt, dass ausreichend Photosynthese betrieben werden kann. Sie waren alle schon sehr dicht gewachsen und schöner wäre letzte Woche gewesen zu Entlauben um so besser, für Luftzirkulation zu Sorgen und auch die Raumfeuchte runter zubekommen. Dennoch haben wir uns dafür entschieden, den Beschnitt genau zum Übergang in die 2te Blütewoche umzusetzen. Grund dafür auch, den Streck abzuwarten. Jetzt Anfang der 2ten Blütewoche ist die Bildung von Blütenansetzen voll im Gange und schon gut ausgeprägt. Demnach auch der Streck bald Stagnieren. Gießverhalten, sehr unberechenbar... man kann in die Pötte geben und nächsten Tag sind die Nährstoffe bis auf ein geringes quasi verpufft. In der Regel versuchen wir alle 2 Tage Nährstoffe zu verabreichen, ansonsten Wasser in auch PH angepassten Wasser. Ab der Blütephase fahren wir mit mind. einem PH von 6.5 bis höchstens 6,8 Da wie eben genannt nichts in die Pötte zu bekommen war, haben wir gestern auch mit 1 ml/ L ne leichte Blattdüngung mit Green Mystic vorgenommen. Nur erreichbare Sonnensegel bzw. Blätter wurden besprüht. Andere Blätter darunter bzw. daneben wurde versucht so gut wie möglich abzudecken (Küchentuch). Ja soweit wäre es jetzt erstmal. Wie immer, hinterher fällt einem immer wieder noch was ein was man sicher Schreiben wollte ;-) Aja Gesternhatten wir dann auch auf 720 Watt umgestellt. Day 27 of 12/12 Day 16 Flower Ppfd 950-1050. S44-Ionboard Ppfd 650. S11-Ionboard lightbars EC 2.0 PH 6.0 I finally caught this diary up to the current date. I apologize for my previous entries that were all done last night and kind of vague and all over the place. Today I'm doing a mild defoliation to open up the canopy and get some life pumped into these lower bud sites. She's still stretching some which I'm all for at this point although I have a few colas reaching for the sky that need dialed back a little. I'll most likely just LST them to the net if I can find spots to pull from. Defoliation is a nightmare currently. I need some kind of mission impossible harness to hang above the canopy and save my lower back lol. I ordered and installed the s11 Ionbeam led bars from AC Infinity. I currently have them in my lower canopy just below my scrog net to help her along a bit. The first night I installed them they didn't sync up with my controller 69 and she had a night light for 12 hours. Pisses me off because I should have peeked in to make sure it shut off with the main board. So later on today I'll play around with the setting between the 2 controllers and get this UIS set right. This is a prime example of jumping the gun and letting the excitement of new gear get me doing shit hastily. These bars are weak and have to be placed within inches of the canopy and then will only cover a small area efficiently. I will most likely remove em from the lower canopy and suspend them over the colas on the edges. Not sure what I was expecting from 11" light bars. Maybe I'll add them to my seedling/clone racks.

Aquí ya en mi 8va semana después de cambiarlas a unas macetas más grandes de un aproximado de 15 litros. Bueno, se preguntarán dónde está la tercera si eran tres y ahí se ven dos. Resulta que se murió, aconsejo de mantener lejos a tus gatos. Sí, mi gato macho orinó en su sustrato (aconsejo siempre mantener limpio su arenero para que no busque otros lugares donde orina) y pese de hacerle su lavado de raíces y cambio de sustrato, no sobrevivió. Aquí fue la única vez hasta ahora que pasó algo así. Hasta ahora sigo renegando con el gato, pero bueno no es culpa de ellos, sino de uno mismo. Hay que ser más precavidos. Buenos humos!

The buds are fattening up this week and some hairs are turning orange on the bigger buds. I’m guessing I’ll have to harvest this one in stages looking at the bud development now. The buds are beginning to smell very strongly. Some large ones are having difficulty standing up so I imagine I’ll have to secure them in the next few days. Trichromes are clear and the sugar leaves are getting frostier and frostier each day. I’m estimating harvest first week of April so I’ll begin flushing next week.

Unsure yet she's staying very tight so its a little harder to gauge how she'll respond I thought I should add, with the way I lst, I like to get as much defoilation out the way before flipping to flower that way all she does in flower is just get fat and lovely. Seemed to work well coming from only doing Autoflowers so just using that knowledge and implementing to my photo grows and tweaking it

Good week everyone. I started off with another top dress with 0-10-0 fruit bat guano. Yummy!! I saw lots of growth outward not upward because the stretch has almost stopped. This is a very fast growing strain with a strong smell. The smell is amazing. It's swell yet musky. I guess it's like a banana, hope the buds are like bananas also😀

Hello everybody trichoms said a time is now. So I made a finaly defoliation. After that I let it three days without water and started to to cut it ✂️✂️✂️

Week 6 flower : I stopped the pk half way through week 6 so it had a total of 10 days feed with pk13/14 I also cut out the silicone and calmag on the same day . I defoliated a little as there was a lot bud sites covered . I am going to start the flush in 3 days which will be . .6 1/2 weeks into flower , going to give them 2 weeks flush with plain water . Still have a bit of leaf curl from the light being so close I did move it but because the canopy is not so even it’s hard to get it right .
