Everything is going good at week 2 for the apple strudel.

I converted an old cloning machine I had DIY constructed a few years ago into being able to do clones still and also start seeds in peat moss pellets. Hopefully it will work as good as it did for my clones, I had 100% success rate for clones in it before. I have 3 Obi-Wan Kush seeds that sat in a cup of water overnight and then put in the peat moss pellets Into the cloning machine. It is sitting in 24 dark untill the seedlings emerge. I am starting them in my veg tent that is 4’x4’ under a Morsen 1000w(170w true power) LED. I will be moving them to 3gal DWC buckets when they are done rooting in my machine and add another 1000w Morsen LED. We will veg in this tent for approx 4-6 weeks before moving them to my flower tent with a 1000w HPS on a light mover in a 4’x8’ tent with a 5gal RDWC setup. I have grown this strain before from Canuck Seeds and it is one of my favourites to grow and smoke. ****update: so the peat moss pellets where a bust in the cloning machine so far...lol They where just to wet and where probably starting to drown the seeds. So I took them out and have them in a seedling tray drying out. I Will just be putting them in my DWC starter buckets once they sprout up.

9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. This strain really likes the Nitrogen..they were starving... 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!

Hi people :-) Today the update of the Blue Gelato # 41 🌱. She looks very healthy and vital 👌. It has grown very nicely this week. I only uploaded 2 of the same videos for testing, once in 4 K and once in HD. Since the last videos of the quality were unfortunately not so good when you watched them on the PC. I hope this bug is now fixed, otherwise it is because of my apps etc. Tomorrow there will be a few more pictures, because unfortunately I only came to the videos today. That's a hell of a lot of work that comes with growing, and still work in everyday life 😅. Day 28 week 4 of flower plants looking good I dropped a 3L water bottle on a string which snapped a whole branch from the bottom 😳 on right plant 😭

The plants have taken to their Earthboxes, especially #1 with the BuildASoil Light. The Earthbox with my Coots mix was the runt, plus I damaged the roots during transplant so it has an uphill battle, but I wouldn't count it out yet. It was looking droopy and with slight discoloration, but after a drench of Kashi Blend Tea (1/3 cup Kashi Blend, 1 teaspoon blackstrap molasses in 1 gallon of water for 24 hours) it perked right up. As for preventative pest management, I've kept doing foliar applications every 4 days of EM-FPE -> EM-1, next week I will incorporate the just-finished EM-5. I made a JADAM wetting agent (JWA) but I have realized even local bottled water is too mineral-heavy for it, so I will need to find a source of distilled water if I want to use it in my foliar regime. Next week I will begin doing LST to get some more tops going. At some point I plan to add a trellis, I have been busy with work but I will find the time to set up something, preferably a trellis that can move with the Earthbox to facilitate maintenance and not have them fixed in place for the entire training and flowering cycles.

89 days!!! I came back after an unplanned long vacation, and when I saw her I immediately realized that today is harvest day, it's a pity that I haven't seen her ripening for the last 12 days, I wasn't with her:D but the result really impressed me, I've never had such a beautiful strain :) the girl has been growing throughout the growth cycle, she's been growing really vigorously!!! Her smell really reminds me of cherries :) the flowers have grown very stiff and full of trichomes, I can't wait to taste her:) the update will be after the harvest has dried up:) good luck to everyone:).

This is about half way through the bloom cycle. The top leaves are burning and it is not from nutrients. The plants are too tall and the light is too close. I am going to practice some HST to make room for the lamp. I snapped the 2 or 3 tallest colas on each plant. They grew back stronger than before and loved it.

7/7 17 days old. Calling this her first week of veg. She did not appear to be growing much for a few days after being transplanted. However in the last couple of days she has been putting on height. Now that she is growing again it seemed like a good time to top her. Topped her at the fifth node. A few of my previous grows I topped at the single leaves. This gave me two main branches that I just tied down. Then let all the branches grow up. Gave me a very uniform plant. 7/9 She has a very healthy dark green color. Her branches almost immediately started growing after being topped. I can see the difference in 2 days. Her nodes are very close together. 7/10. This lady has huge tits/leaves. Her leaves are so big they’re blocking out the light for the branches. I used some coat hanger to pull the leaves out of the way. Really her leaves are huge for her age. They’re almost the size of my hands and I’m 6,3. I pulled 1 leaf off to help open her up some. I will do some reading on this strain. I believe as she gets older she will look more sativa. Right now she looks heavy indica. 7/11 She broke ground 21 days ago. She graduated into veg 4 days ago. This plant is growing very nicely. 7/14 25 days old. Gave her water with liquid kelp. Her branches are quickly growing to the top. Would love to do some defoliation but I’m not. Other than a few 3 blade leaves in the center. Absolutely love her dark green color. So far the living soil is doing a great job. The company says just water. We will see. Ethos Genetics is top shelf. My friend grows mostly Ethos and these plants are just amazing. I was hunting for old school so I didn’t grow any Ethos until now. Old school is gone. I have never saw buds like these Ethos. This plant needs to come out close to or better than my friends. She is growing in organic living soil and her color is great. The only thing I added was myco supreme on her roots. The next time I water her she will get some liquid kelp and humic acid. The plant is relying on the living soil to eat. So I want to make sure her root system is very healthy and able to process nutrients.

This grow was educational. I had major problems not with just germination, but actually getting the seed to grow .... I am majorly pleased and happy over all... Her buds are super dank sticky icky... smells of fuel, citrus, earth, wood... visable THC/ Cannabinoid Crystal's all over her buds... her buds are THICK... MA2 definitely yielded more than MA1! But both plants very similar in "body type" she took longer than MA1, but shes definitely fatter... I can not wait to try this sexy hot mamma....

She has performed very good with the lst method, nice plant, fast growth, quality flowers, it's a very good choice for everyone who's looking for a good quality strain at affordable prices. So far all plants have been harvested. (3x Bubba Pupil, 1x purple wreck, 1x AK-47, 1x Godberry). The first bubba pupil and AK-47 were harvested a week and a half ago and now have been jarred for 1 week +/- a few days. All pictures are of the bubba pupil and AK. I will come back and update once the other plants have been trimmed. The first Bubba Pupil, which was the tallest of the 3 and most stretched out, yielded exactly 4.5 Oz dry weight. The smell is starting to get stronger after a week. It smells grapey but has a weird funk to it. It must be the “pupil” funk everyone talks about. This plant looked like it wasn’t going to yield much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lowers were dense and compact which contributed to a good amount of decent sized buds. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the yield and quality from this plant. The AK-47 seemed like it was going to be a heavier yielder, but it ended up only yielding 2.5 Oz dry. The main colas were far during flower and dense when dried, but this plant had little to no lower quality buds. Everything below the main canopy seemed like it was airy and not worth jarring up. This plant smells a little bit fruity, but I can’t really put my finger on it. Super dank smelling, not skunky, but it smells like it is going to be gaseous once it cures up a bit longer. The Godberry yielded a total of 3.25 Oz. She was the best smelling by far out of all of the girls in the tent. Super fruity and sticky as hell. The resin content on her was definitely the highest of them all. I will be back to update once the last 3 plants are trimmed and jarred for a final weight and overview.
