Some plants seem determined to become the biggest, loudest personality in the entire room. And then there is Candy Rain. Our solo survivor. The girl who started this adventure simply because she was the one who remained... and somehow, week after week, she keeps becoming more beautiful. At this point, I don't even know if "survivor" is still the right word. Because she isn't just surviving anymore. She's thriving. And honestly? This girl is becoming glamorous. 🍬✨ 🍬 The Solo Survivor Has Her Own Role I've said it before, and I'm probably going to say it again... I really like the role this girl has taken in the 8×8 Adventure. She's not trying to compete with anybody. She's not trying to become the tallest. She's not demanding constant attention. She's not creating problems for me to solve. She's simply doing her own thing. And she's doing it beautifully. That's probably what I appreciate most about her. She has developed her own personality within this experiment, and at this stage, my job is becoming wonderfully simple: Provide. Observe. Document. That's it. She knows what she's doing. 😂💚 🌿 Deep Green Beauty The first thing that catches my attention this week is the colour. Those deep greens are absolutely beautiful. The foliage has that rich, healthy appearance that makes the plant look incredibly alive. And when you put that deep green foliage together with the developing flowers, the contrast becomes gorgeous. She's got that elegant appearance I really enjoy photographing. Not chaotic. Not overly complicated. Just... beautiful. There's something about a plant that looks comfortable in its environment. And that's exactly how Candy Rain looks to me right now. Comfortable. Established. Confident. And completely herself. ✨ She's Doing Her Own Thing One of the biggest lessons from this entire 8×8 Adventure continues to be that plants don't follow our expectations. We can give them the same room. The same lighting. The same environmental conditions. The same general feeding strategy. The same irrigation philosophy. And then... they decide what they're going to become. Candy Rain decided to become Candy Rain. And I couldn't be happier about it. She's not trying to imitate another phenotype. She's not trying to match anybody else's timing. She's following her own rhythm. And at Week 10, that rhythm is looking very good. 🌸 The Flowers Keep Moving Forward The flowering development continues to progress beautifully. The flower structures are becoming increasingly established, and the plant is clearly moving further into this later stage of flowering. The photographs show those developing flowers surrounded by that beautiful deep green foliage. And that's one of the things I really enjoy about this stage. We're no longer looking at a plant simply beginning to flower. We're watching the work from all those previous weeks become increasingly visible. The branches have their flowers. The flowers have their structure. The plant has its character. And now... we wait. We provide. And we watch. ❄️ The Details Keep Getting Better This is also the point in the run where photography becomes especially rewarding. From a distance, Candy Rain is simply a beautiful flowering plant. But get closer... and there is another world happening. The developing flower structures. The pistils. The calyxes. The resin. The textures. The little details that you simply don't appreciate from across the room. This is why I keep coming back with the camera. Every week gives me another reason to get closer. And Candy Rain is giving me plenty of reasons. 🍬📸 🌿 No Need to Force Anything One thing remains very clear with this girl: I'm not looking for reasons to interfere. She's not asking for major intervention. She's not showing me a structure that needs to be completely changed. She's not demanding that I redesign her. She's growing. She's flowering. She's maintaining beautiful foliage. She's developing. So why would I try to turn her into something else? This is one of those moments where the grower has to know when to step back. Sometimes cultivation is about action. Sometimes cultivation is about restraint. And right now? I'm choosing restraint. Let her do her thing. 💚 Provide. Observe. Enjoy. I think this is probably the simplest way I can describe where we are with Candy Rain. We provide. Water. Nutrition. Light. A stable environment. And support when necessary. We observe. The flowers. The foliage. The structure. The maturation. The changes from week to week. And then... we enjoy it. Because what's the point of doing all this if we don't stop occasionally and appreciate what the plants are giving us? Candy Rain is giving me a beautiful plant. A beautiful story. She is the solo survivor from her seed pack in this experiment. What began as an accident became an opportunity. And that opportunity became one of the plants I now genuinely look forward to documenting every week. That's one of the funny things about growing. You don't always know which plant is going to become special to you. Sometimes it's the biggest. Sometimes it's the strangest. Sometimes it's the one that gives you the hardest time. And most importantly... I'll let her tell me what comes next. Because Candy Rain has already shown me that she knows how to surprise me. She started as the survivor. Then she became the elegant one. #43 clones are maturing too fast I feel. Especially that a mother is ripening normally. I would guess it’s because of poor rooting. It’s the only difference. I keep runoff at around 3 max. Around week 5 the runoff ph started to drop below 6. Even towards 5.5. Both in rockwool and coco.

Late to add this week me and my son both came down with covid but I feel behind a little this week and will be playing catch up to next week. But for now here are a few photos.

Added 3 mars hydro sp3000 300 watt led bars I got locally for under 100$ Chopped one down that just wouldn’t vertically stop growing and was suffocating the rest of the plants and now everyone has good light penetration all around Buds are getting fatter and the smell is insane AN BASE b52 bud factor x bud candy and overdrive

Going into this week on the 12/12 light schedule. It grew to about 10.5 inches from the light. The light is now up to 50% brightness. A full dose of bud candy was added, instead of the half added last week.

And it starts like this. an official collaboration starts with the friends of Zamnesia, from today I will only grow, grow and flower Zamnesia Seeds plants and I really like it. We are close to a flowering in the extreme heat and therefore we opted to start with 4 very fast F1s, they are not joking guys when they tell you that they are made to be more resistant, stable and fast they are not telling you something false. Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Bueno, pues ya se nota que empiezan a engordar y tirar resina, poco a poco huele más jajajaja. Me muero de ganas ya de que llegue el dia del sacrificio ✂️✂️😂🔥. Mirad los pompones! Se ven gooordos gordos y aún está engordando! Jajajajaja ojala me salga una buena bicha. He notado que ha habido un poco de sobrefertilización por algunas puntas, la puntita puntita, quemada pero muuuy leve y espero si no haber corregido ya, corregir pronto. El olor no sé definirlo, pero ufff... Huele a hierba! A marihuana! Es ese olor que te esperas de una hierba de locos jajajajaja me recuerda a la mítica hierba del gitano, el que sabe, sabe XD.

As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

I will be growing her again, as I feel like I let her down, by letting her PH drift so low.. Other than that, she grew beautifully, and fumes of potency as you gaze at her! She yielded more than I expected! She's not that far below my previously lowest yielding plant! :)

Good day, everyone!! So my DO Si Dos lady flowering time going well. I light the plant for 12 hours and feed it every day with 2L . The smell is perfect for me - northern scent of mint, citron and some pine aromas. Serious aroma= always good High effect, less stone. I think next week will be the last and I will prepare the plant for harvesting. Thanks Royal Queen for the genetic :)
