Well, my organic vegetables garden, in anticipation of growing weed has been at rest for twenty months. I started to amends with green manure from legumes and lawn mowing (expecially the last month, for ready availability of N). I've mixed 1 gallon of Vigo Plant Full (perlite, guano, peats) to improve drainage. All the roses around, the apple tree and the hedges were treated with deltamethrin so as to preventively reduce the population of aphids, whiteflies & red spiders. My vegetables & weed eventually will receive only spraying of nettle macerated. Now in the evening I will have to pay close attention to broadnose weevils and later to bedbugs. It will be a tough fight against the wind and heat. A whole week of full sun awaits them. Royal Gorilla has spent the previous week outdoors night and day in her pot savoring the discrete temperature changes in my area. She is a runner, born 9 days after the sisters and is already making up for lost time. 💪

I've seen a visible decrease in live spider mites. Spraying Captain Jack's Deadbug every 3rd day. 2 treatments so far. I took a sample bud from the very center of the plant to examine with my loupe (still need to order a microscope). From what I can tell, most of the trichomes are cloudy. Drying the sample in a brown paper bag. I still don't know if my leaves are turning yellow due to light stress, nutrient deficiency, or because the plant is close to being finished. I've clipped a bunch of leaves off both from yellowing and because there were a bunch of visible spider mite eggs underneath. There's been a definite decrease in spider mites after 3 treatments, but they're not totally eliminated yet.

9-11 Day 7 Yay we made it, Officially week 2! She was slightly leaning a bit, so I staked her. Shes supposed to be kinda big, so I'm lst anyways. Why not start now? But for real, I put zero pressure on her. ️ 9-12 Around 1 liter water, brought eco witt to 50% 9-14 Looks good, was sad before water. Shes poppin now! 9-15 Watered around 1.5-1.7 liters. Brought ecowitt to 51% from 32% Gave yucca, 1/16 tsp and a little humic acid 1/8 tsp. Mixed in 6.2 liters ph 6.0. Ppfd around 330-350, finding her stride FAST! Thanks! Last update of week. She

6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Jack Herers have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and her leaves have smoothed out, there's virtually none of that glossy, dark green, twisted and gnarled growth. They are looking great! 6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation 7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Jacks. They are looking stronger and stronger each day. 7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy! 7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!

Heavy defoliation day 15 of flower. Netting was causing more trouble than help so I removed it. Adding power bloom every other watering. Had to defoliate again on the 21st day of flour.

Environment + Pests + Setup This week (at day 31) I decided to end the battle against fungus gnats. Even after almost three weeks of dried-out soil, dozens of adult insects could be seen, which told me that there were pockets of moisture that I couldn't influence. Accordingly, I went back to the original plan I had outlined earlier: bring the system into balance and use sand and nematodes. Since I should no longer have any problems with low RH, I have also reactivated the exhaust fan, which lead to the values you can see above. Nutrients + Environment From the outset, the plants showed a slight nitrogen deficiency, which was evident in their rather pale, light green color. This is probably due to the fact that the substrate (until now) did not contain enough moisture to allow metabolic and decomposition processes to proceed efficiently. Directly after watering I got reassured that my choice was right and the soil still alive, healthy, and ready to 'get back to work': Look at the amount of springtails and how fast new growth appeared! Plants On day 30, I topped the plants. Both had already formed three nodes and started to develop healthy side branches at all of these nodes. So, according to my plan, I removed the main shoot, leaving enough space for the stump to encapsulate without damaging the healthy plant. I also removed one shoot from each of the middle nodes, as I don't want branches that already grow towards the center (the branches will grow towards the light anyway, and this way I can ensure that there is enough air circulation and room for expansion). Besides that, I sadly feel like the variegation - and genetic really - ain't stable. By the end of week 5, you could see that the offshoots differed a lot in their 'quality' (asymmetrical, some very weak, etc.), and the variegation didn't appear again. *Gorilla Z Auto was 14 cm tall, Mimosa Cake Auto 7 cm (both after topping). Thats why I wrote 10.5 cm.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Right now it’s a pre harvest I took a few of the branches and it plenty left i I’ll be back with in 2 weeks or so with and fa sure harvest report 12/18/21 *update so far with the buds I harvested half the left side 83.7 grams minus the few grams I smoked already not 2 shabby for a rookie. N I still got more drying. Dat I just harvested and whole another side to harvest hope I can hit That qp mark dat would Be awesome sauce will be back with the rest of the harvest *Update 12/26/07. My first weigh in was 83.7 and this one was 69.1 so in all I have 152 grams off one plant a qp off one plant from a. Vipar spectra. 450w And galaxy hydro 300 w. NOt to shabby for a noob I will be selling my lights to get me optic 4 led with CREE cobs or maybe get the optic 6 led. I can only imagine the yields. It's early October, and the weather is getting worse. I hope it holds out for another one to two weeks because it's currently raining more frequently. The buds smell sweet and are slowly turning frosty.

Hi GD Buddies. Another week down on this new strain for me to enjoy and wow am I enjoying watching theses gorgeous flowers flourish. They are creating very hairy and dense looking bud structures that have begun forming up into longer stem filling flowers that are also really kicking out a nice heavy scent of quailty Terps and aromas too. The glow space absolutely pongs of weed and my filters are throwing their hands up in the air in submission !!!. What a beautiful profile it is leaving behind too. One of the plants is beginning to show more colouring on the pistols now so I expect thosnwill begin a new flush of pure white ones to swrll the duds even more . The contrasts are so aesthetic looking over the buds and I can see why this strain was put forward by the guys at Exotic to try. A beautiful choice guys and i look forward to seeing this strain complete its processes and am excited to sample the finished result.

The MC1 x Apricot Jelly actually came out pretty solid, the MC1 x Dionysus is ugly as a mf tho. Started the flush on most of these last week. Everything has been steady all around. Going to start taking them down a few at a time over the next week or 2 some will go longer than others so they'll come down 3 or 4 at a time.
