Dear Growmies, With week 13 upon us, the journey with our plant enters an exciting new phase. The dance of the buds stretching around the colas has come to a natural pause, ushering us into the swelling stage. Each day, we're greeted by buds that are increasingly plump, a clear indication that they're on the right track. As they swell, our plant is starting to exude a sophisticated sweet lemon aroma that fills the air and promises a sensory delight. It's a fragrance that speaks to the complexity of her development and the nuanced profile we can anticipate. Notably, some leaves in the lower canopy are beginning to wilt, a process I view as normal age-related defoliation. It's a natural part of the lifecycle, as the plant focuses her energy on the swelling buds. In our efforts to optimize her environment, the GCX 9 lighting is now set to 100% flower spectrum and 75% veg spectrum. I'm carefully pushing the limits to provide maximum light without imposing stress or damage to our plant. This stage requires a delicate balance, pushing for maximum growth while maintaining the health and well-being of the plant. I As we watch the buds swell and smell the sweet lemon fragrance developing, it's a moment to reflect on the journey thus far and the growth we've fostered together. Pow, opened the door to the flower room and what a pleasant aroma I qas treated to. The Quick Critical smells great. Five weeks of flower completed and another one or two left. Buds are building nicely and putting on noticable size. The hairs are turning brown and the trics are getting cloudy. Leaves are turning yellow and figure that is from the plant consuming all the nutrients. I am getting the feeling, the moment I am waiting for is close. In my humble opinion and not based on any experience, I would think I have another week left before the first one or two plants are ready to be harvested. The other two do not have the same amount of brown hairs. After leaving the flower room I have the smell all over my hands and clothes, love the smell. GWK: Day 68 AvT: Day 63 Notes: -The AvT is on day 63 but for those confused why she looks the way she does, she almost died right as she entered flower and was stunted for about two weeks before ANY growth started again -AvT looks like she could really put off a nice yield if everything keeps moving in this direction -Planning to cut the GWK down between the 5th and 7th depending on the % of amber trichomes

Plant really took off over the last week. I had flushed the soil and been doing water schedule by weight instead of by visual/topsoil moisture. Leaves are almost double the size from this time last week. Moved the light back down a few inches. Update: started some lite lst, mostly just moving big leaves out of the way for smaller branches

Week 6 At the beginning of the week I simply finger pressed the new node growth to begin separation and branch direction. 3 days after the last topping, I set up the tomato rings and attempted to tie down train the branches. In retrospect I should have given another day of growth before trying to tie to the new nodes. One plant made the LST training without issues(green tomato ring), however I snapped 2 center colas on the second plant(orange tomato ring). From experience I know that these will not produce tall colas since it happened so late in Veg, so I decided to completely remove them and will monitor for any new growth on those nodes to remove it. So now Im growing an 8set Mainline And a 6/4 set Manifold: Mainline : is a planned topping and defoliation of every cola that makes all topped splits have roughly the same distance to the roots for water ways by removing all other growth along at the same point on any cola. Ideally this helps generate mostly equal buds along the whole cola after each topped split and then the whole plant without having to use scrog nets and just local support ties instead. In a Mainline you remove any other growth that would otherwise need those water ways to grow as well, so Manifold: is the same thing as Mainline but in Manifold you leave a few branches to grow from a lower start point on any cola and then remove everything else. Ideally this gives mostly the same benefit as Mainline but if planned correctly allows you to be finished topping in just 2 separate topping days rather than 3 separate topping days. (I am using it here to correct this late veg mistake in my breaks) The tie downs are positioning 6 of the colas to grow out flat until it can reach the outer bend of the tomato rings where I will allow them to stretch straight up in bloom. 2 cof the colas will have the lowest node of braches growing up in the middle for a total of 4 branches. However in the 8 cola plant I am also training 6 to the outer ring and 2 colas to grow up in the center of the ring. Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Das erste Orkantief der Saison hat die Damen getestet... Der Herbst ist da. Die Pflanzen Einzeltopf sind einige Male umgefallen, eine AK hatte nen astbruch und wurde verarztet. Der Ast ist nicht komplett ab gewesen, von daher dürfte sie sich erholen. Das Blütenwachstum von Larry ist beeindruckend. In Woche 5 schon dicke und schwer. Die Äste wabern schon schön im Wind.. Lemon kush ist auch in der 5. Woche, Banana in der 4. Sieht auch immer besser aus.. Töpfe wurden beschwert, damit die stehen bleiben. Es wird langsam spannend, die Temperaturen sollen etwas kühler werden. Bisher kein Schimmel 🤞. Es läuft gut 👍 bis nächste Woche ✌️

First week of flowering. The plant will stretch, so i adjusted the LED dimmer to 100%. Did a good defoliation too. Doing good, very healthy. Smell very good.

D15/V13 - 07/09/23 - She's ok now, new home and lot of space 🏠 D16/V14 - 08/09/23 - I cutted the lower branches and leaves ✂️✂️ D17/V15 - 09/09/23 - Added a CO2 dispenser. The set up is ok 🛠️🛠️🛠️ D18/V16 - 10/09/23 - Added some nutes 🍗 D19/V17 - 11/09/23 - Waiting to start bending her down 🧠 D20/V18 - 12/09/23 - Added water 💦💦 and nutes 🍗🍗 - pH is too low, I added some pH+ 📒 D21/V19 - 13/09/23 - Started LST, one worker is bending her properly 🌿🌿🌿

📅 D22 - 05/09 📜Second day of rest for Lucy only tha daily water tracking. LST adjusted a little. Added 1 l of water with only pH-. Deactivated inside roots pump ✍️ 0.98 EC ♒ 6 pH 🌊 9,7 L (added 1 L) 📏 7 cm 📅 D23 - 06/09 📜 Lucy waked up a little droopy. I guessed it is due to the deactivation of inside roots pump, so I reactiveted it. EC and pH are both raising and Lucy still drinks good. I will make a correction of EC and pH today. Cutted lower leaves. Late update: I added 1 L of pure water with 0,5 ml of pH- to take under control EC and pH. Anyway she looks better now, maybe the inside pump worked ? We'll see tomorrow. Lights distance is set on 20 cm from now on. ✍️ 0,96 EC ♒ 6,1 pH 🌊 9,9 L (Added 1 L) 📏 8 cm 📅 D24 - 07/09 📜 Lucy seems ok today, she is drinking and feeding ! As they say, she is an autoflower so too many close to the pre-flowering. So I've almost changed my mind, but finally, looking at Lucy, I decided to get all or nothing! So I topped her on the two main branches and I completly changed the res. The new EC is 1,4, very high.. Both the moves were a gamble, but failing is learning, so it's ok for me. Let see the aftermath of this push. ✍️ 1,4 EC ♒ 6 pH 🌊 10 L 📏 8 cm 📅 D27 - 10/09 📜 Lucy looks good today. It seems the topping and the res change is going well until now (finger crossed). The pH track was a little strange as the value is over 6,6, I already added 1 ml of pH- in 10 L and I think I would add some more today. I didn't change the values here, 'cause I will put the new values the next week. I'm considering what to do now to make the branches stay down, I'm not sure if I have to use SCROG or other LST. I’m so proud of the transition. I gave them a defoliation during and it didn’t slow them down! They’ve shot their worst pistols now so I’m so glad to be officially in bloom!
