Struggled a bit with heat, had to put a fan over canopy. The hps has made a noticable difference in hardening up the buds. I rhink another 10 days to 14 days left. Update day 49: as recommended by @B4RNS I have reduced the last week of feeding to e.c 1 prior to a week of flushing! New video added with lots of heads!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Сегодня крайний полив компотом с добавлением всех стимуляторов с ph 6.3 в объеме 1 литра. P.s: Вот и подходит к своему завершающему этапу мой Арбуз :) на следующий неделе начинаю давать Finish от Advaced Nutrients для промывки в течении всей недели и следом 10-14 дней чистой воды и отправимся в темноту на пару дней….

14 days, the girl looks great, a little wrinkled due to the humidity which is only 40-45%, but I don't know if all this will soon resolve itself, I just need to water it more often :) this week I'm changing the light to mars sp150 which will stay until the end of growth :) I'm giving the girl 6.3 ph water with 2 ml of heaven :) good luck to everyone.

Meine Glookies macht weiter ihr Ding. Unter den beiden top Budz bilden sich nochmal richtig schön dicke budz, die mir fast sogar noch besser gefallen wegen ihrer schönen Form. Der Geruch ist immer noch sehr fruchtig, süßlich aber auch skunky, ich Liebs. 2 Wochen noch bis zum Harvesting. 🌱 Bilder werden geupdatet.

Hey guys! 😀 Another update! This week my babies were still showing signs of deficiencies and I'm now almost 100% sure the culprit is Magnesium. Next week I'll add some CalMag to the mix both in water and thru some foliar application, hopefully that will help them. Besides of that Pistachio is outgrowing Matcha by a big margin, it's obvious she's still recovering or she's still somehow stunned (maybe she'll stay small till the end of her days 😢). Either I decided to defoliate both of them and on top of that do LST on Matcha... and both responded well to it, that's good! 😍 They looked super sad for a moment 😰 The new branches look nice and the wounds were I did the topping look healthy for both plants, nice! Really starting to smell of blueberries. Cant wait to smoke this, checkrd my ppm run off it was 2800 but no sign of burn or defeciency ph was in rang. Flushed with about 8 litres of phd water to bring it down to 1600ppm . Will start to flush next week allthough all of the pistols are still white so maybe end up being 9 week strain

Start of Week 11 - Day 71 07/12: It seems as if Annie’s stretch is slowing down. She’s now at about 30” tall and she has a lot of colas poking out from her base. Aaliyah and Alexis have stopped their height at 34”. Alexis’s buds are starting to get bigger. The buds in Aaliyah’s main cola are starting to connect and are also getting bigger. Aaliyah’s bigger buds are also getting coated in trichomes. The smell is still pretty minimal. Based on the visual changes it appears that Alexis is about a week behind Aaliyah and Annie is about three weeks behind Aaliyah. Since this is my first grow I’m not too sure on harvesting time, but I’d say Aaliyah will be ready first and she still has a few weeks left in her. They are losing some leaves closer to the base, but they are looking amazing overall. It’s hard to believe it’s been 70 days since I put the seeds in water. Time really flies. 07/16: Playing the waiting game and it isn’t easy, but it will be worth it. The ladies are at different stages of flowering, so I’ve decided that next week I’m going to start giving them different doses of nutrients.
