Day 22 - She's doing okay! Had a minor PH issue the other day due to a cheap meter, which has been replaced. Her bottom first fan leaves are a tiny bit brown as a result. Her roots are clean and nice looking, thanks to the Hydroguard. She seems to be doing all around very well. Definitely have to check and adjust PH daily to keep her under control, however. Day 26 - So I moved her to a new, non-visible home. Not because of any failure of the visible setup, but because at one gallon, it was just plain too small. She was going through water so quickly that I was having to redo her whole tank every two days. Was becoming too much maintenance. If I can put together a three gallon clear setup I will move her over to it. That is the plan at least. If not, she'll be a bucket girl. She's doing well and thriving, so everything is cool on that front.

Really healthy. I've mixed it up with ripen a bit. I know its only for the last few days, but I'm trying something out, it suits my growing style, I know what it does. So I've lowered the PPM to 480 on this water change, I've cut the bloom down to 1/3 .33 and I've matched ripen ml/ml .33 and to keep some N in the mix I added half of the bloom boosters. So mixing them like this works out a really good NPK ratio. I reckon 2-5-5. I've changed the water, haven't added any H2o2 yet, as it's not needed and it'll only attack my roots, it's been a learning experience with h2o2 but I think I'm getting close to getting a better grips of how bacteria works. I adjust the PH 2-3 times a day, I won't need to today as I've only changed the water so should get 40hrs or so out of it. I'll have to add H2o2 tomorrow. Water temps will jump up to 26c before lights go out tonight. So I should be fine till tomorrow. I haven't had to do much but just keep a eye on the water, watch for slime, I know the smell of rot and root water now, both a foul but rot water is unmistakable. My roots are very weak, I'm afraid to add silica at this point because of what hit my other DWC I do not know. All I know it had silica in the water. So, I've pult back off it and the h2o2 has taken a beaten on my roots. But I'm learning and the degradation is a lot less, and to be able to grow a healthy plant at 27c water is just amazing I think. And I know no hydroguard wouldn't keep the rot away at that temps. The roots are black now just because of the PH + adjuster has turned them that way but they are healthy and so is the plant. She has her old wounds of course and I could get rid of all them leafs to show a 100% healthy looking plant but if I were to do that, I'd have to remove 20% of the leafs and the top is already very thin on leaf growth. Just going to keep a close eye on her and try get her over the next 20days. The buds are getting so heavy branches are having real trouble keeping themselves up. I've had to keep tucking them behind stronger nodes. The buds aren't big and have long colas like my soil mainline but these buds are smaller but still big stand alone buds that are rock hard and have very little trim. She's extremely frosty. I had a little taste of her, she was sadly very disappointing. DWC definitely needs to be cleaned. All I could taste was nutrients. Very hard to get a taste of the weed, that I know is there, I got super high of it, but was super harsh, I know chemical cough when I smoke it. Things moving along nicely, aside from the humidity. My ac is a bit underpowered it seems and having trouble keeping up with the transpiration caused by so many leaves. Looking forward to a second heavy defoliation in 3 days. All healthy, all good. Autos get the chop within 14 days, taking much longer than I anticipated

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the late update, but I didn't get my regular time to update my journals this week, so updates are coming sporadically. Anyways, as far as this lady is concerned, she couldn't be happier. She is just starting to really put off some buds and start her stretch. I'm not sure how long she will stretch for, but I've got my eye on the lights, to keep them in optimal range. Also, in preparation for the stretch, I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% strength nutes (with 100% secondary additives, like Pro-TeKt and Dyna-Zyme) which puts her right around 900ppm and 5.9pH. This Amnesia XXL Auto has a heavy haze lineage and I can already smell it in her. I'm excited to see what this lady will yield since she is really starting to stack up during the start of the stretch. 11/22 - Uploaded new canopy shots (48 hours after bumping ppms). Oh!! I am so excited!! This little Sex panther is sneaking around and growing even though her tap root got broken!!! I didn't know if it would make it or not, but here she is killing it!! She grew 3+inches this week. And, I am using @advancenutrients for the first time. Jungle Juice is proving to be a great investment so far. @STRNGSeeds says it should "it reaches moderate heights of 90–130 cm with a sturdy, bushy frame." If you look at the attached pictures, you will see a lot of growth--tells me it will probably be very bushy just like it was described. Today, I am very pleased with Sexy Moma's growth!!

Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. This girl is wanting to go nothing but vertical. Bent her 90 degrees and it's paid off. I've been moving the main stem around the pot trying to encourage as many tops as possible. She is looking real bushy for a sativa. I don't suspect that will last long, 1 more week then flower time.

This has been such a long journey, finally starting to see some real stack up. I started my first photoperiod grow with 3 strains. This OG Kush and Sour Diesel from RQS, and a land race Afghani strain from Zamnesia. The OG Kush came inside a month ago to make room on my tiny deck for the Christmas tree Afghani out on the porch. The Afghani is over 7 feet tall and frosty stacking hard, picture labeled. The Sour Diesel grew far too big for a tiny suburban deck, she got chopped and relocated. I hope i made the right decisions, regardless man is this growing FUN!

Well she just keeps surprising me I thought she was close but she just keeps getting bigger and thicker and stinkier so he’ll yeah. She is getting some beastie blooms nothing else at this point.
