This week went really well ! Today we are at day 79 from seed an looking beautiful! One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics! Super sticky an smell is so amazing, room full of purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz the smell you can’t beat, so many berries!!! Well stay tuned for next week! Cheers y’all

Week went good they all flowering Nicely something is wrong with app I think it changed my numbers last week and I think a week is missing but it’s ok I defoliated this one plant for the 3rd time she will need one more then lollipopping everything below 2/3 of top I been doing some experimenting with ppms so u may see some tips burnt and they are flowering so fan leaves are yellowing on a few but just normal stuff I pushed them up to about 2200 ppms to see what they can take and they drank it no worse for wear besides some burnt tips also I do swap between mammoth p recharge and dynomyco like once a week just to see if I can see difference and what works better I have to say these genetics are some of the best autos I dealt with I want to do some of fastbuds. Ff strains to see what I can do with them but we will get there when we get there also don’t mind little babies in there those are moms these being autos it’s only place I can put rn happy growing

Sakura season has begun, I hope everything goes fine. Strawberry Pie is going to have a tough time this week, let's hope it survives, meanwhile there are signs of heat shock and sunlight, it's developing 3 point leaves and strange ramifications but maybe I'm wrong. D38 Defoliation, I hope I haven't overdone the pruning D41 First week of flowering, I think it couldn't have gone better, it's growing visibly, let's hope it's like this until the end, maybe shortening the timing, we'll see. on the contrary strawberry pie has stopped growing, I have to thank that she survived, who knows what will come out of her, I wish her a sweeter climate... D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.

Really impressed at this point. Treating them all same the whole time due to harvest times , it will be interesting to see how they preform.

Couple days left of week 3, and buds are starting to swell, and trichs are forming. I've removed most of the lower branches at this point (which probably should have been done earlier), I'll hopefully do the last of the defoliation this week too. I'm going to bump up the nutes a little for a while before flushing for at least 2 weeks when they are starting to look ready! Smell inside the tent is getting stronger, made me sneeze a couple times when I peeked in there the other day 😅 Have a happy new year!

Zealix is growing good. Sorry I missed many weeks due to hand surgery. Then gd was having site issues with updates. Hopefully everything is fixed now. I did a solution changed a few days ago. She is in need of some heavy defoliation very soon. She is reaching her maturity now. I will be switching her and the other plant from Terpyz over to flowering soon. Everything is looking good now. Dec 12: Growth has been good, leafs started yellowing as I tried a regular watering as opposed to a feed, and they did not take well to it. I’ve read that it’s good to incorporate waterings between feeds, but 24hr later noticed a bit of yellowing on the lower section, 48hr post watering even more yellowing. Dec 18: Going with feed only and yellowing has halted, stretching has officially begun. No adverse effects from the short term nitrogen deficiency (that’s what I narrowed it down to). Playing with budsites to maintain an even canopy, and as soon as I see stretching halt, and fattening begin, I will up the bloom nutes. Dec 20:

Hey now, this week went pretty good, the buds are about done bulking up, and just waiting on the trichomes, I was really hoping she would be about ready, but I think she needs another week to week and a half total. The buds are rock hard, and super sticky. I have no clue what she will yield because the colas are not that thick, but there are definitely alot of them. I plan to squeeze her into rosin, and hopefully I can break the 25% mark for the first time with her, but we will see. 15 seeds germinated. 100% success rate. Seeds have been planted in a mix that has volcano ash and bat guano. The mix gets the seeds off to a great start without the worry of adding nutrients. Over the next few days they'll receive water twice a day. We water about 100ml at a time 3x a day. We water in circular motion to encourage the roots to grow out.

Nice growth come in this week, with a week microbial tea given along side very small amounts of insect frass and alfalfa. Plant was just topped now for the first time, on day 26.

I'm thinking shes prolly got like 2-3 weeks left.

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. This week i made a plan for the plants feeding. For start gave a small portion of nutrients like 1/4 from the suggested to see the reaction of the plants. Day 21: fim one plant (the plant referred as cotyledons now is going to be mentioned as fim).In a few days will top the other one.
