🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Back Again , well the FBT09/Sour Diesel plants are looking fine . The normal plant is looking really good and has very distinct spiked leaves . It also has a slightly tighter internodal spacing than the its sisters all except for Tester 2 which is the bushiest. The other plant (polyploid) is also bushy but in a mutant abstract type growth pattern , It has two heads even tho I never topped it . 👽 This is a Freaky plant hope it produces some freaky Buds 😝 I gave the girls a feed of Mr B's Green Trees Bloom Mix (third of a cup per pot) and a qtr tspoon of Great White. 9/15/2024 Stretch is moving along nicely. Only bummer is that the tops are crowding the light fixture and reducing the total light penetration. Working to keep the PPFD and DLI in a reasonable range and even across the canopy. First day of week 3 bloom nutrients. Both plants are looking incredible and moving along nicely into flower. Working hard to keep Plant A from overcrowding plant B. 9/17/2024 Adjusting fan setup to promote better circulation around the tent. Continuing to move the light over plant A an inch at a time. Running out of room slowly and will likely be forced to supercrop. Added 40watt bar light over plant B to offset the take over from plant A. 9/21/2024 Discovered herm signs all over plant B during trimming. Decided to cull it to avoid issues with plant A. Going to work to tailor the tent setup to push plant A going forward. The empty bucket will remain in the tent but is disconnected from its feed line and return line to the reservoir. Due to the herm in plant B, I left a lot more plant material on Plant A than I initially planned. With more room, it should hopefully bush out even more! Flower development on plant A is good with great stacking thus far. Still stretching, but slowing down. Any more stretch will require super cropping to avoid burning as I turn the lights up over the next two weeks, Planning to add lower lighting now with the additional space.

This week was uneventful. I fed them Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Iguana Juice Grow @ 0.5oz/gal and gave them about 1/2gal each. I gave them a light watering each day to keep the top soil moist and add a bit of humidity. 2/4 are in pots about 150gal, one is in a 100gal or so, and one is in a 5ish gallon pot. They are just cruising along, enjoying the ride. See y'all in a week!

Every thing has been going well, plants looking very lush, & healthy, put on a bit of a stretch, added 2nd scrog net to train them through as they stretched. Been busy lollipoping & defoliating lower growth to allow more air & light through. Removed a lot of lower popcorn branching & lower bud sites, so they can now focus & send all their energy to the top bud sites. Going very well.

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Week 2 is actually week 3. Only giving water. My dog decided he loved the plant so much, The he would dig her up when left outside! I guess I am lucky the plant was young and she seems like she recovered very well. I think she is stunted, because she looks small compared to others I have seen. I’m about to crack open and beer and wish for the best.

Amazing week for my girls! They are looking lovely! I feed them with 500ml every other day which will be increased to a liter of solution next week. Removing lower fan leaves as usual. Great new is I was chosen from Marshydro and they have sponsored me with sweet new light TS1000! I want to share my thankfulness and happiness! I will veg my babies in one week and will switch them to 12-12.

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is.
