9/10: New week- these young ladies seem like a pair of identical twins I'll prolly transplant both of them in the next few days. 9/11: I waited to long to transplant them and they have root problems to some degree or another...too wet for too long. I transplanted both of them into 3 gallon pots and observed about 50% brownish roots.. 😕 I powdered the planting holes with myco, tricho, and other goodness. 9/12: Between the root problems and the transplant, they looked horrible, so I sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray today and will do a good root drench tomorrow with BushDoctor Boomerang. They looked better by the end of day, but still have a ways to go to get back on track... 9/17: I fed them boomerang only twice this week, and gave also them kangaroots yesterday. They are both looking strong, and branching well. I'll prolly flip to 13/11 with emerson effect in the next couple of days.

Hey guys :-) . This week I will use LST again, and everything radically shorten 🙈. Not because I want to, but because I still have to save some time and height because there is still no space in the bloom chamber for 35 days 😂. It grows great so far, and as with the last grows it is beautiful with it 😍👍. I wish everyone a nice week 🍀🌱. Lemon Cherry Cookies – Flowering Week 2 🌸 The plant is now fully into flowering. Bud sites are stacking up nicely and the white pistils are shooting out strongly. She’s still growing bushy and filling out the tent well. 📌 Training: • Lollypopping next Week 📌 Feeding: • 1 ml/L Bio-Grow • 2 ml/L Bio-Bloom • 1 ml/L Top-Max • 0.5 ml/L CalMag • 0.5 ml/L Alg-A-Mic Leaves look healthy and lush, with a nice green tone and just a light tip fade – exactly where she should be in this phase. Nutrients are being absorbed well, no visible deficiencies or stress signs.

Welcome to Week 3 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. It’s been extremely cold here in Canada this last few weeks and these plants are doing their best to survive- not thrive. Although they are healthy and happy, they are just not thriving like my previous Sweet Seeds grow from the fall of 2021. The temperatures are only a few degrees cooler than spring, summer and fall but the humidity is extremely low at this particular time of year- 20-25% at best. Without adding additional humidity via a humidifier, my plants are at the mercy of the dry Canadian winters. Week 3 did not bring the expected growth spurt experienced by the plants in my previous Sweet Seeds grow (the Cream Mandarine XL autos). I have included a side by side comparison photo above to show the massive difference in size between the two SS grows. It’s because of the slow growth that I have decided not to top these plants 👎🏼 I increased the water early in Week 3 to 2.1 litres per plant every 4th day (0.52 of a litre per plant per day). Hopefully these ladies pick up a little over week 4. Mom’s Tip for Week #3- To Top or Not to Top?… Topping is an simple technique used by growers to split the main stalk/stem into two separate stalks/stems. This allows for height control when growing XL strains, encourages lower branch growth creating a more equal canopy height and of course- creates two beautiful, big colas instead of one! But topping Autoflowers has long been the source of great debate so I’m here to clarify Mom’s Do’s & Don’ts when topping autos. Do top your plants if they are healthy, thriving and on track (growth wise) with other growers and any info the breeder’s might provide. Don’t top your plants if they appear unhealthy, simply surviving and behind/slow (growth wise) compared to other growers growing the same strain. Do top your Autoflowers between 3-5 weeks from seed or when your plants have grown as many sets of branches as you desire (usually 4-6 sets of branches or nodes). Don’t top your auto’s beyond the 5th-6th week as they are most likely going into full flower. Do top, prior to or very early on in the pre-flower stretch and don’t top too late in pre-flower or once budding has begun- it’s too late and you’ve missed your opportunity for this grow. Do top your plants if you know what you’re doing and you’ve got the right tools. Believe it or not, I use a sterilized set of nail clippers (dedicated to this job alone) as they deliver a clean, controlled, perfect cut every time. Don’t top your plants if you haven’t done your homework or you haven’t got the right tools. Many people use their fingers but I find they are too large and awkward for such a precise job. More than once I have missed (FIM’d) or taken one of the two baby branches that are supposed to be left behind or simply injured those tiny developing branch sites by accident. Do top your autoflowers if you are growing a large/XL strain in a small/short space. This allows the grower to influence/control the overall height of the plants and creates a more equal/level canopy of foliage and eventually bud. Don’t top your auto’s if you are growing a short, fast flowering strain as this can sometimes stall/stunt them a tiny bit. Some Autoflowers run such a tight seed to harvest schedule that they legitimately cannot afford any interruptions in their growing cycle so check the breeder’s info before you chop. Do have fun with growing your Cannabis and don’t be afraid to try something new. Don’t top your Auto’s expecting to triple your yield though. I have learned that it will change the shape and height of your plants and you’ll end up with less low level, larfy bud but your yields will be almost identical whether you top or not. ✂️✂️✂️

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Ghost Train Haze Week 6 from seed | 12/12 from seed Marked as: Week 1 Flower (pre-flower transition) Before jumping into current conditions, a quick recap for anyone new joining the diary. This Ghost Train has been through a bit of a transition phase over the past weeks. Earlier environmental fluctuations, combined with changes in nutrition and irrigation style (Autopots), slowed her down compared to the rest of the room. Nothing dramatic, but enough to leave visible signals on the older leaves. The good news: conditions are now much more stable, and the plant is clearly responding. ⸻ Current Environment (now stabilized) • Temperature: ~27.5 °C • Humidity: ~65% • CO₂: ~900 ppm • PPFD: • Smaller plants: ~600–700 • Taller plants: up to ~800–850 Light intensity is intentionally staggered. Plants are allowed to grow into the photons naturally, rather than being forced under a flat PPFD across the canopy. This helps accommodate different genetics and growth speeds in the same room. Despite cold weather outside, internal temperatures are now stable, which was one of the main goals this week. ⸻ Root Zone & Irrigation • Root / reservoir temperature: ~17 °C Slightly cold, acknowledged. This contributed to slower uptake earlier, especially in Autopots. Not ideal, but manageable, and already improving. • Watering parameters: • pH: 6.5 • EC: 2.4 ⸻ Nutrition — what changed and why This week marks a clear nutritional transition: • Switched from Plagron Terra Grow → Terra Bloom • Following the Plagron feeding schedule • This was the only intentional change Additionally: • CalMag Pro has now been added (started last week) About the leaf symptoms The older leaves show signs of undernutrition and stress. This is not a single-cause issue, but a combination of factors: • Cold root zone limiting uptake • Autopot system still running a lighter recipe • A sudden stop of organic inputs • A rapid switch to a fully mineral approach In short: the plant was used to one rhythm, and that rhythm changed fast. She didn’t like it — and she showed it. Important note for newer growers: 👉 These symptoms are on older leaves. They will not “repair,” but new growth is the real indicator, and that’s already improving. By increasing Terra Bloom, adding CalMag, and stabilizing the environment, the plant now has what she needs to push into flowering properly. ⸻ Flowering expectations This Ghost Train Haze is currently the most delayed plant in the room, and that’s okay. • Haze-dominant genetics often: • Take longer to transition • Stretch later • Flower later than hybrids She will likely be: • The last to fully enter flower • The last to finish That’s normal — and usually rewarded with excellent medicine in the end. What to expect next: • Gradual improvement in new growth color • Clear pre-flower expression • Stretch beginning once roots and uptake fully sync What not to expect: • Instant cosmetic recovery on old leaves • Overnight flowering just because the schedule says so ⸻ Final thoughts Conditions are now stable, inputs are clear, and the plant is responding. From here, it’s about consistency, not correction. Thank you to: • The newcomers • The OGs • The supporters and the critics • The sponsors • The community • The platform itself It’s truly an honor and a privilege to share these humble diaries with everyone who chooses to follow along. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Flower Week 0 Day 0 to 6 - 3/18 to 3/24 Flip Week. I used Flip - Day 1(63) Schwazze extreme defoliation and plan to do it again on flip day 21. This seems to encourage growth of the buds while allowing more airflow and training space in my grows. In which I used HST of he center colas of P1 and the center branches on P2 Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 600ppm total before add-ins. I used 450ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 150ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 where Io plan to maintain it until harvest. They should be mostly root feeding now and this should help with the uptake of nutes. Next week nutes will increase in Bloom mix again but also reduce in Veg mix. Feed will be 650ppm before add-ins with 5.8ph before feeding. Training of stretch will also happen next week.

The plants are now putting all their energy into bud production, and it’s really starting to show!🌱 Both are developing bigger and bigger buds, and the smell is becoming more intense every day. #2 has an insanely large main bud, completely covered in trichomes. The aroma is very hazy, deep, and complex. it’s going to be interesting to see how it develops in the coming weeks. #1, on the other hand, continues to impress with its tropical, sweet, and pineapple-like scent, and its buds are also swelling up beautifully! Everything is going exactly as it should—excited to see how much more they’ll bulk up in the next weeks!💚
