First week of flower

February 20, 2019 update: The good news is the babies are all growing, the not so good news is there seems to be a slight bug infestation. Since taking these pics and video I have sprayed them with a mild Neem Oil & Water mix (about 20:1), hoping that helps. The MediKush are doing great with some beautiful tight nodes.

High GD community, This lady turned out fine looking and giving mee a enjoyable smoke for daytime. Its surprisingly smooth and got this tiny fresh minty/anise undertast in it. Something thats inherend to this breed. Its been like this with every grow. Fresh mint and anise. Subtle but always there. Ill update within a few weeks, when curing has done allready a bit. This week was a little rocky. Two girls on the outer edges are good, but the middle one is drooping and foxtailing already. It's weird because my middle plant was larfy last run as well. I might push her to the corner and let her do her thing with less attention... because I just got a photoperiod runtz clone that's gonna need some space and perhaps its own light. LST seems to be going well for the other two though. Sometimes with autos, it's just a genetic thing. They can be temperamental girls sometimes.

Bubba OG Gum autoflower has been growing great. Just keeping up on her training and letting her spread out. She is due for a solution change soon. Everything has been going well for her. 12/7 Week five and in full flower. Runoff was way high 1400-1700 ppm this accounts for the tiny white tips on new growth. Increased amount to 0.5 gal once a day but may have o go back to twice a day. Still on half/grow half/bloom until the stretch plays out still trying to hit 700ppm of feed without runoff exceeding upper limits so feed alone is running 600ppm to counter the hard water. Once I have a handle on the runoff will up nuets. After some thought and a bit of reading I decided to do this as a root drench and fertilized flush to remove all salts from the pot. 0.5 gal 5.7PH CT Grow AB / Kangaroots /Fish Sh!t with @50% runoff - 950ppm (unadjusted 750ppm adjusted) in / and 1020ppm out. Removed all the new side shoots and the first set of fanleaves. Did this because I want the plant to focus all of its energy on the main stem. I dont need any new side shoots. I thought that this weekend I would flip them in to flower. But I'm going to wait some more. I want to see more height in the plants and I think that after this defoliation that hight will come quick😁🚀 PATIENCE IS KEY! On day 75 I changed the light colour from blue to red to see if this can promote some stretch before changing the lightcycle to flowering. ‼️I did not change the hours of light‼️ On day 76 it seems like there has definitely been some kind of reaction from the plants overnight. They seem to have stretched a little bit. I'll keep a close eye on em these coming days.

This was a solid week but my PH keeps dropping. PPM dropped from 780ish to 560 so I know she's eating. Buds are forming nice and compact for their first week of actually forming. Other than the PH problem that I'm correcting daily until my fresh res change, my tallest stalk in the back grew into the light so hopefully those buds don't bleach! Open to constructive criticism btw!

14.1.25: I've been readjusting the LST. I just took all the pegs out and reshaped her. I got some new LST equipment in the mail today, have been glad to have more pegs. I got some clips too, but they don't seem to stay on 😕 I'm currently only using the pegs, I have some thicker soft wire, but I forgot I don't have pliers to cut it! Also I'm running very low on Biobizz nutrients, so that could be bad 🤞 18.1.25: I have done another large defoliation on PPP1 and PPP2. Also, moderate defoliation on all other plants today. All LST ties and pegs are readjusted. I have turned up the light to 90%. Same distance of between 24-28 inches, depending on height of specific plant. I have increased the dosage of Biobizz Bio-Grow and Fish Mix to give an extra boost of Nitrogen as several plants were showing yellowing. They have responded very well to this. Unfortunately I ran out of my Biobizz nutrients and PH UP. I'm currently using Bicarbonate of Soda to increase the PH after the nutes PH comes out to about 4.1. Obviously, that uses a lot and I only had a 250ml bottle, which I used last run too. This run I have 9 plants. The only thing I'm worried about is the salt build up. Have you used it before? Or any other natural way to increase PH? Please let me know! I've also added Biobizz Fish Mix to help with the extra Nitrogen needed. Watering with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 2ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Biobizz Top Max ♡ 2ml Cal-Mag ♡ 2ml Ecothrive Flourish. I water with this every 3 days. I did order some more Biobizz Bio-Grow and Bio Bloom. I found some at a reasonable price on Amazon. I still have about 800 ml of Biobizz Fish Mix left, too. It is fairly expensive this time as the plants are hungrier this run. I also got a new bag of Canna coco, which I may use to add a top dress with some dry amendments. Which hopefully will save some cash on the bottled nutrients and stretch out until the end of this run without having to buy anymore. I have purchased a funnel to pour the water. It is difficult, due to the shape of my LST, to water precisely. I have spilt it all over the tent several times 🙄 I've also ordered a 2 litre jug. Currently, I'm mixing water for 9 plants individually in a 1 litre jug. It's tideous. Hopefully, this will solve the issues. Cleaning the tent after watering every time isn't my idea of efficiency 😅 Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Is it ok to chop small bud near bottom for smoke ? I’m just can’t wait for this

Sherbet is growing very well, fast and healthy. Want to take cuttings from this one but also want to top it, don’t know what route to take first?! Would also like to keep a clone to breed with GSC to make some Gelato 45, then eventually cross that with Zkittlez to make some Runtz and so on and so forth! Hopefully everything go as planned.

C'est trop tard mais ca m'arrange pour arroser et observer. C'est étrange que même l'aspect de la terre en surface change a ce point.😮 Ca reverdi. Donc c'était bien un manque, plus certainement un coup de froid. On a eu une coupure d'électricité une nuit très froide.

Last week with me not here, the girls seem happy still on the photos and videos I’ve gotten from my flatmate. They are very very bushy so apparently it’s hard to close the tent, so will need to do some serious pruning when I’m back at the start of the week.

Bonsais are being made😅😉 All good I have changed the soil so now they grow rapidly especially CBD Blue Shark. :) I had no choice realised that using the same soil over and over is mitake. Big one. Now it is okaz Purple Punches are in the 3rd week of flowering and Blue Shark is in veg i am not sure how long I will keep her like that. Fertilization continues with the mix above on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday. Day 39: I keep doing LST on CBD Blue Shark spreading her.
