Start of week 4, the blueberries had major bud growth during week 3 and they filled in nicely. There are a few signs of deficiency in the larger fan leaves, but overall I'm very happy with how the blueberries are growing. The Super Lemon Haze is showing signs of deficiencies, she's also hungrier than the blueberries, she got an extra 2 liters of nutes at 1/4 mute strength, the last two weeks. She may require full strength nutes in the extra feeding, to help with the deficiencies. Still, bud site development is coming along nicely on the SLH.

As the plant enters the fifth week of flowering, the first trichomes have begun to form. The buds have started to thicken considerably during this week. They are becoming denser and more robust, which indicates that the plant is channeling its energy into producing larger, more resinous flowers. Throughout the growth process, the cannabis plant has shown no signs of health issues. It has remained vigorous and resilient, with no observable deficiencies or diseases. To ensure optimal light penetration and airflow, the plant was lightly defoliated this week. The cannabis plant is progressing well in its fifth week of flowering. The formation of trichomes, the thickening of buds, and the plant's overall health are all promising indicators of a successful flowering phase.

So they're finally done. Really pretty stuff here and serious nose behind it. Every day it's developed and now it reeks like vanilla and lemon candy. There's a pheno that smells like bubblegum and another smells like a sweeter lemon tree. They're similar smelling but very very different. Makes it fun to sort through. The looks are pretty off the charts too but I don't have to say that. I'm excited to do my first smoke report! May not get to it until everything's done curing but my guess is these are gonna be burning phenomenally. I'm looking forward to getting my keeper and getting some beans of my own soon. The girls are thirsty this week even if the climate hasn't change that much. 13L/Day is the same amount of water needed during the stretch phase. Nice colorations has started to shows up on phenos 3 and 5. To be continued... 😎

So the girls still look healthy, the flower sites are starting to set in now so some defoliation of the bottom skirt is required this week, time to decide whether I'm going to take some clones!! Have the girls a little sprinkle of barley and rockdust from Living Soils, nothing crazy just a couple of tbsp of each. Still looking fine. Bit of a slowrt flower compared to last time I ran this strain. Quite a lot of plant for such a small space. Will need to defoliate quite a lot at some point. EC in water at 2.3, roughly stacked to 3.5-4.1 in substrate/runoff.

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

I did not top this girl, yet. Her top lowers started catching up to the top so I didn’t want to stop her yet lol. But all in all she’s looking healthy.

Day 57 and this plant has transformed from tiny to decent size. I dont know yet when to start flushing but it will be during the next 2 weeks! Soo far everythings going good!

8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. After locking them out for close to a week , I managed to get them going again. Just waiting for some Amber trichomes to show up now.

The germination process was successful. Within 36 hours the root sprouted from the seed shell.
