This adventure is over too. This little girl took longer than all the others, she had her problems growing up, but in the end, with a little patience, she gave excellent results! The flowers smell strongly of diesel, which immediately hits the nose, and there are hints of lemon. Not too dense, but I'm happy nonetheless. The adventure is over, and we're already ready for the next one!

1.20.2024: Time to gives this a go. 2.3x2.3 tent, XS1500 light, 2 gal fabric pots. Pots filled with FFOF(90%) & Perlite(10%.) Don't ask me why I chose 90/10. Nutrents are the FF Trio. Also growing a freebee seed from Humboldt Seed Co(Emerald Fire OG Auto.) Decided to germinate directly into the medium. Light is at 50% power at 2.5ft from the top of the pot(s). I'll have the light running 24hrs until it sprouts(fingers crossed it does.) I sprayed the top soil with pH 6.5 water when i stuck the seeds in then placed clear plastic cups over the seed location. My 4inch fan is on the way and it comes with a monitor for temp and humidity....no idea what current stats are. Just hope the damn thing spouts. Fingers crossed. More to come. 1.23.2024: 3 days and still no sprout. Going to give it another day or two before i go fishing for them. Off to a fantastic start! 1.24.2024: They've finally popped....aaaaannnddd we're off! 1.25.2024: Took the lil domes off, opened 2/3 vents for some circulation. Been misting the top soil just to keep it moist with 6.5ph water. I also "bottom fed" 12oz of water just to keep things lubricated. On the fence about when to give the plants a proper watering. Might keep things going "as is" for the next two days. Inline fan and associated hygrometer comes tomorrow(1.26) so i'll finally have an idea on what the current stats are in the tent. Will make adjustments at that point in time. Light is 2.5 ft from soil at 50%. 1.26.2024: Inline fan came yesterday. Only set up the probe just to understand temp and humidity. With the light at 50%, 2 ft from the soil, all vents closed except one(1) port at the top, my current temp hovers around 79 and the RH is 50%. After setting up a humidifier, i'm now running 75 degrees, 64% RH and VPD .58. All within tolerance. I can already tell it will be a delicate dance managing heat, exhaust fan speed and humidity. Still haven't given the plant more than 2 cups of water and i'm only watering when the soil is dry. Tomorrow(1.27) marks 1 week since the seed was dropped. Plan is to lightly water the entire pot when dry for the next week or until growth really kicks in.

6/16 today was a feed day. Transplanted into 20 gal rain science mesh pots 6/19 today was a tea day. applied some LST clips to try and stretch her out more wide

SATURDAY 9/21: After having had my entire rig and all my cured produce stolen from me by my pardner in crime, I'm starting from scratch. (That f**king asshole!) Special thanks to the fabulous folks at Fastbuds for sending me some replacement beans!!! I mylar'ed up a closet and got a little light to get them started with. It's 3500k with some extra 660nm and draws about 200w from the wall. I am going old-school this time around..no pre-soak and no paper towels. I bought some soluble myco + tricho + all the good beneficial bacteria and mixed a little into a liter of distilled water and wetted rapid rooter plugs. I planted all three Stardawg beans in the rapid rooter plugs and put them in a little humidome under 9w of pink light. TUESDAY 9/24: All three emerged with no problems, but one is still wearing a "hat".. THURSDAY 9/26: All three had taproots sticking out a few inches, so I planted them in their 3 gallon pots and put little mini-domes over them. FRIDAY 9/27: I knew better than to try to start some seedlings with no humidifier, but the asshole stole mine, so I tried it anyway..I have several seedlings that probably aren't gonna make it, but so far all 3 x Stardawgs look fine. I wet them down and put some trays of water in the closet to try and bring up the RH. TUESDAY 10/1: Okay, so only one survived, and she's starting to grow.👍 My soil mix was too hot for them...rookie mistake... I finished working on my homemade frame and mounted 6 x 120w quantum boards to it, but one of my 3 x 240w drivers failed, so I gotta get a replacement sometime in the next few weeks. I still gotta get my ventilation squared away before I can even run them.😎 FRIDAY 10/4: She's my lone Fastbuds plants..got high hopes for her. She'll be surrounded by a bunch of Candy Cane hybrids.

Sup everybody, I thought a lot and if got learn the time is now! I have 4 babys so I decided that two of them will be for my practice, one I won’t change a thing, and the last one I’m obligated to transplant (didn’t have pot :@). I follow the advice of putting more soil into my pots and that’s was great! I topped one as you can see, put some cinnamon powder to help heal (don’t have much sure, but read that somewhere). The other I did some LST, honestly this is kinda harder to me than topping because you must be very careful and kinda follow your instincts to bend the plant. The other one as said I didn’t changed a thing (gotta have at least one guaranteed hahahaha) The last and minor one I didn’t have pot so need to transplant very soon. That’s it, hope you like and honestly I’m satisfied until now, I thought I would screw it all just in the first week. That’s it, my newbie advice: go for it, just don’t go blind!

Pure Ice cream is doing great. I took 2 clones off her yesterday in a attempt to catch the mutation. Dunno if they will make it, or if i got a good sample of the mutation. She had her canopy lollipopped today, along with some selective defoliation. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights, in the Athena blended line nutrition. May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!

I killed 3-4 bugs around the tent and dont see anything else for the moment. Both of the Gorilla Zkittlez’s looking good and frosty and all of them except the tallest Gorilla Cookies, I think it was meant for bigger spaces :D Anyway assuming last 2 weeks before chop

Installed new Vipar LED light. Watered with pH 6.2 RO water with General Hydroponics Flora Grow, CalMagic and Great White. 1/2 cup. I have a fan blowing on the babies to strengthen up the stem.

Veg Week 4 / Flower Week 1 – Let the Stretch Begin The Pineapple Kush has officially entered flowering. I had to defoliate her quite heavily several times to remove the worst thrips-damaged leaves, and I added another fresh batch of predatory mites to keep the pests under control. Despite all of that, she continues to develop beautifully. The LST has worked extremely well and she has produced a very nicely branched structure with plenty of potential bud sites. Now I’m hoping the flowering stretch will help the lower branches catch up and create a nice, even canopy. So far, she’s handling everything remarkably well!
