day 1 - flower week 6 has now started and i want to H²O stress her in the next 2-3 weeks in hope to get her metabolism to work faster. it works by fakeing that the plant has a dry year and might not have enought water to stay alive till she can reproduce. so she starts to work faster and goes turbo (bro science explainaition). thats what i want to try here so dont expect it to work out perfectly. i watered her every day before this week and i will reduce by about 40%. i will still spray the soil every day a little bit when the light turns on but only every other day she will get her usual water dosage (about 600-700ml)

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Here we are for the Week 8 Update for my biggest grow to date. The ladies are really starting to show trichomes like crazy along with their buds sites swelling seems like every day. Several of the ladies I had to defoliate again because they just became so bushy and I'm trying to make sure even the lower half of the plant is getting enough light. I've also noticed that all the ladies seem to be on the same track except for AK-49 #4 which just didn't grow much due to lack of light at the beginning of its life cycle and Girl Scout Cookies #2, which is almost done! Since I'm in the home stretch I check them every day to see if they need water because they've been super thirsty since they have been in flower. The buds are growing nicely, but the fanleaves look like SH*T! I cant figure out what exactly is going on with the plants. Especially the middle plant is showing much more signs of (something I cant figure out)🤷‍♂️🏽

this should be the last week of vegetation. Flowering should be starting soon. Seems like no end to this drought we are suffering from in Southern Ontario.

GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO The spotting got this girl hard, lock lock lock and stunt. She is packing the buds slowly, very slowly, patience is a key element with her now. But the good thing is that she is moving forward. I don’t expect top shelf or a huge harvest for her unfortunately. I couldn’t ID the early spotting reason, and the late spotting i attributed to salt buildup and acidic medium, but the correction was a real pain.

day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.

I use all 3 General hydroponic nutrients and they are two different pot sizes the Moby Dick is in 30 liter and the blue amnesia is in 18 liters has a very strong odor and blue amnesia is maturing at a faster rate then the Moby Dick. a scrog net is being used in order to give support to the upcoming buds. I am also actually on week 4 I just made a mistake calculating the week. this is my first grow ever. also I'm not sure if using the scroll net it's a good idea for support rather than tying those branches up . I am watering every two days feeding nutes every single time at 900 to 1000 PPM ph at 6.2 the plans have not show any signs of stress but I am worried if it is too much nutrients the plant seems to grow very fast after every watering and seems to be loving it. the blue Amnesia XXL Auto it's growing in soil with 30% Coco and the Moby Dick XXL auto it's growing in hydroponic soil. the seeds were germinated on jiffy's and 100% germination rate plus the genetics seems to me very resilient to heat and everything else including lots of nutrients. the moby Dick XXL auto are the two in the front closest to the camera the two farthest to the back of the tent are the two blue amnesiaXXL auto. today day 31 i did some pruning actually lots of pruning hopefully don't cause stress to the plants or even worse cause them not to bud that nicely regardless the scrog net seems to be working just fine helping them access more light and making it easy for cutting leaves that are no longer needed. 32 yesterday after watering and sleeping today they have show no signs of stress in fact they starting to stretch in the buds that we're not getting sufficient light have start to grow also yesterday from the 16 liters I prepare instead of 3 ml of grow formula I add 6 1/2 to compensate for stress and the need of healing and having new grow stretch. also temperature has dropped dramatically outside making my house cold down from 24 degrees C to 19° at night internal temperature is remaining the same from 30 to 26 C. Day 33 I have been raising the scrog net every day and the light everyday this plant is growing very fast I also notice that where the fan is hitting all the time that plant is bigger I have been moving the fan to other sections of the grow tent to see if any reaction happens and it looks like it makes the plant grow faster . I will not be moving the Scrog net any higher Rather I will introduce another one once they require more support . Day34 notice some of the top leaves are showing a curving down like over-watering without actually over water I think they're showing signs of too much nitrogen .for the next water session I will hold back on nitrogen until I see signs of a fully recovering meaning leafs pointing up. thank you for reading have a happy grow.

91 Grapes day 80; Well for a plant that is supposed to grow a 65 day from sprout she still has some time left to finish. Buds are stacking in true chem91 fashion super dense and chunky but the smell is nothing short of downright grapes, it’s the same smell of grape koolaid when you tear into a package, or a grape pixie stick. Trichomes are getting thick and buds are covered in the grape residue not complaining mind you. She is showing signs of some sort of illness, or nutrient imbalance but she is in mid to late stage of flower development so just going to water her and see what happens, let her grow. Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz her flowers are on the airy side of things but they do continue to fatten daily so time will tell if they will harden up. Trichomes are in abundance and cover everything. And smell,my goodness she stinks, it’s a sweet smell very perfumie kind of thing going on. Her branches are starting to sag and will need some support before next week’s update. Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey. I can’t express enough how upset I am about the rodent encounter that almost caused her demise. I suppose I should be grateful that she is still here with us and she can grace us with her beauty.

Week 6 for Lemon OG by SSSC, Lemon OG...my runtz of this year😂 Just seem to be a struggle train with this girl, really slow growth never seems happy but i will not give up on her😂 She was topped again half way through last week. Really hoping when shes a little older & her roots are striving that she will start pulling her own in the garden.

Day 65, 17th of November 2020: Welcome back at the beggining of the 3rd week of flowering. They seem to be stopped streching and now concentrating on buds. All of them are gorgeous..... The 2 Zamnesia genetics Gelato and Kalini Asia are pretty and buds are forming nicely. Kalini Asia might strech a bit more but not long. The Sweet Seed ones are really nice and I am so happy because Red Hot Cookies is already getting red.... pistils and around the leaves.. I hope the same happens to the Red Mandarine and Tropicanna Poison also. They are so gorgeous. They calmed down I don't expect more strech. Fertilization still the same every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. Some lollipopping (Defoliation) is also done. I removed all the LST the plant remains in the same shape from now. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

So a whole lot has happened in the last 2 weeks. My main goal has been setting up for season 3 outdoors in my new garden where I will test my theory. I went a little hard on the plant ferment I made and have been feeding because the Whiskey Zulu and the Girl Crush because have a few spots on some leaves so I guess they might've briefly locked up a little. No problem with the Ogreberry though. The Whiskey Zulu smells like purp—like GDP, the Ogreberry smells like fruitloops with some funk and a little like Northern Lights. The Girl crush smells like a sweet diesel og—and I've just switched her over to 12/12 not long ago. For season 3: I've ordered seeds from DDA who owns Boneyard Seeds Norcal on Dagga.garden please check him out before it's 2 late. Please checkout his fantastic selection of cultivars. He goes by Mr. Toad on youtube if you have any questions. The man is a fantastic breeder and educator. [With my order of Roberts Creek Congo × Space Cheese seeds he sent 10 free The Ghost of Toadally Haze and 7 of a cbd/cbg strain for breeding called Holy Ogre. In the package was also brown rice ocb papers, a soil inoculent, boveda packs, terploc curing bag, stickers, and arugula seeds.] I met DDA through a future cannabis project live, he was in he comments spreading killer knowledge and I asked him a few questions about my ideas and he educated me for a long ass time simply because he's all about it. That's a breeder whose genetics I want in my garden, (and then he sent me all the freebies without even knowing me.) The man will have my buisness for as long as he's selling seeds because he values education and fosting the next generation of growers. He gave me some tips about rooting clones and now I've rooted my 1st clone for this next season. I think the temperature wasnt consistent enough before... I've started 3 Roberts Creek Congo × Space Cheese and they all popped within 14 hours with a 100% success rate. DDA — look him up.

16.4.25: As mentioned last week I top dressed with a mix of canna terra plus dry amendments. The soil is very waterlogged and, as a result, has started to grow some mould/mildew on the top layer. I decided to scrape off as much mould as I could, then redress by mixing in some coco and perlite. This should aerate the soil, and prevent the water retention becoming excessive. 23.4.25: I hope everyone had a great 420! HulkBerry has grown significantly since last week. She is now exceeding the perimeter of the 8 Gallon pot. The leaves are looking good to me. It's not too dark, but still luscious in appearance. I have barely given any water, as unfortunately I had overwatered when I top dressed. The top dress was not my usual substrate and, unfortunately, ended up growing mould on the surface. I removed the top soil to take away the mould. Then I replaced it with 2 Inches of Canna coco and perlite 60/40%. I did not add any amendments to this. Nutrients; Cal-Mag amino acids and Ecothrive Biosys. I watered 2 litres yesterday, and today, I am going to LST for the 1st time. It needs to be done ASAP now, before she begins to flower. I'm just aiming to open her up and keep the tops at an even height. I'm happy with this plant her structure is lovely, and uniform. Which I hope to maintain. This plant came from a random seed I found in a dispensary bag and since we have dozens and dozens of bags I don't know which one it came out of...so the strain is unknown. I’m not sure whether it’s a photoperiod or an autoflower, but I’m assuming it’s a photoperiod for now. I started it indoors in a tent, germinating the seed using the paper towel method before planting it in a small quart-sized pot. It’s been growing for a few weeks in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, but the leaves have just started to fade, so I’m preparing to transplant it into its final home—a 50-gallon pot outdoors now that it’s spring. The 50-gallon pot is filled mostly with standard potting soil, mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest and perlite. A few weeks after transplanting, I’ll begin feeding it a combination of liquid nutrients including Advanced Nutrients, Fox Farm, CalMag, and Mikrobs Microbial Superpack. I’ll also top-dress with worm castings and other amendments as needed. If the plant turns out to be male, I’ll harvest the pollen or any seeds it produces. If it’s female, I plan to grow it as large as possible—which is why I’ve chosen such a large pot and moved it outdoors.
