This girl is getting close to being done now! I have had some cal-mag issues pop up. I should have gone with bigger pots this year. I started earlier then normal so the plants are bigger and hungrier then ones I’ve done in the past so I’ve had a few issues this run. This Fine lady has about another week left in her at this point I think She smells pretty awesome at this point!! 😎🍿

Having a lux meter has improved my grows so much. Knowing your DLI and where the hottest/coldest parts off your plants (ppfd wise) is just really the next step in adding that thing to your grow(s) that sets your next crop from your last. As I'm a long way from where I want to be. My next crop will focus on 2-3 plants. Doing 35 really is its too much work. Timing and moving plants around as there all at different stages. Like autos in pre fower will only take about 35-40dli before showing stress (drooping for ages after lights out or near the end of lights on) but, really you only see it about 20m after lights out. So its kinda of a ritual for me to check my girls after I put them to bed. Also doing 3-4 swaps and plant moves in and out of my dark room, or moving from the 70cm2 into my 1m2 (having a same spectrum of very close is a must if you're going to reg change lights/tents. As for this strain. She's really happy. Bit of wind burn you can see my 360degree ball fan is to powerful on its lowest setting. I'm thinking of putting something to break the wind on her. I did remove the 1st true leafs/nodes much later than I did with my 2 Fastbuds (that stalled for a wk) but they're back strong. And no early flip. Really only thing I can think of is the DLI and not stressing them day in day out with lights out has improved all my plants. (Lux meter id suggest any grower who wants to push their limits) Maintenance 1st True leafs/nodes removed to help energy move to the next more important sets. Very little to no feed. I'm keeping her going with Fish force and Royal mix soil. This week I'll be adding Xpert Nutrients. Day 152 from seed ( 98 days since I changed photoperiod) and I'm harvesting after one week flush. A few buds seemed to have started decaying inexplicably, like burned, and had acquired a grayish- brownish coloration that I didn't like at all. I think she's caught a fungus. Besides I also think spider mites have done they job well because I was amazed at the extent they had sucked the sap on almost every leaf of the plant, fan leaves mostly. They have weakened the plant so much that she may be int he process of a more terrible thing that could be fungi. Back to spider mites, it is indeed nasty to see the damage this pest has done so far, because I see they have chewed almost -if not all- leaves, and fortunately they hadn't started to form webs, which I abhore seeing. I had started to see adult spider mite forms into the very inside of buds, while I was inspecting the thricomes, so before this nasty pest would eat up my precious buds, or any other cause (mold, etc) I took the decision to flush and harvest her progressively. First I'd harvest the most ripen buds or those that show signs of decaying and leave to the end the most immature (those that were far from lights, which are terminal and very big and dense though a but immature and bright green. The plant looked overall ready and I preferred to harvest the most bud I could, as you may imagine, but I would have liked another week for flushing more thoroughly. I've been flushing with tapwater and 2 mL/L Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients. In the next few days I'll be finishing her completely, drying won't take long and as for curing I think a couple of weeks. The smell in the room is really heavy (in fact it has been heavy for the last month), it stinks oif citrus here.

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

Easy to grow. Fruity spicy very nice stone and made lots of edibles with this trimmings and have to watch out with dosing LOL.

27 august: day 21 Flowering the plant in the 20liter pot has the same problems now as my other critical grow.. the leaves fall of at the bottom and waterleaves in the middle turn yellow inbetween the vains.. im not sure what this is. the other plant in the 12Liter pot is yellowing a bit at the bottom but very dark at the top (no burn) you can see everything in the video all info is welcome even if this update is getting old. i only have this problem with this strain

So on 12/14/21 opened tent to find leaves trying to get away from light, TS 3000 is a powerful light, at 24 inches from top of plants at 25% power it caused leaf folding. Adjusted light to 36 inches and dimmed light to 20%. Leaves are turning a darker shade of green and started praying again. Lesson learned know your light or get a watt meter cause 25% was close to 120 watts of LED. 12/15/21watered plants 100ml of water, except one which was still moist. Noticed green coming back strong now the lights at the right height.12/17/21 Plants fully recovered from my light. Looking vibrant green again.12/18/21 Nutrients fed. 12/19/21 plants are growing vigorously now that the conditions are right on.

The Green Gelato has been a great success although i have been using this time as a bit of experiment the results are clear. While i have two plants that are ready for harvest both are looking extremely tasty, the third one in the smallest pot although it has huge top colas i would say its at least another week if not two away from being ready to harvest. I am now flushing these through ready for a great smoke. Thank you to everyone who has liked this diary fingers crossed next post will be results and review. 😌

Day 51 - 1F - Trimmed up most fan leaves and lower nodes. Used some low stress training to keep the canopy low and even then lowered SCROG netting to start training through flowering stretch. Took a couple clones as well (not sure if i'll grow them out yet or not - just wanted to try my new fog cloner i built.

Looking good. Shes stretching like crazy! Showing some more little pistils on some bud sights. I watered her with nutes yesterday night and checked on her today and shes getting a little yellow i know its not light burn because i moved my light up higher the night before just in case. gonna wait and water her heavy with some regular water Other than that shes getting as hell

Hello!, Day 60 Flower I just done the my first harvest ever. Gelat og has cool looking buds, After seen the BUD ROT on one single bud in day 59 yesterday , Today in Day 60 i just cut the plant down for Dry. Going to WASH the buds with H202 (half of them) and going to dry for 10-14 Days and in to Jars for another 14-21 Days as I learned from fellow growmies. Greetings Rastamans, as you can see my girl is getting thicker and is growing weekly. Every used fertilizers have very good results. Slowly aproaching the time of harvesting, This is evidenced by the trichomes as well as the timing of the flowering cycle. I believe that the harvest from this plant will be great. Use of the necessarry techniques at the right period of times gave me the results that you see yourselves. It is the last day of lighting. It will be in dark for 36hrs.
