This week marked the full transition into active bud development 🌸 The plant has completely finished stretching and is now focusing its energy on building buds and increasing resin production. • Final height stabilized around ~100 cm • Stretch fully completed • Energy directed into bud growth and trichome production Bud sites are now clearly developing across the canopy, though they are still in the early stages of stacking. Trichome production is steadily increasing, with a light frosty layer already visible on the sugar leaves ✨ Canopy management was adjusted this week. After a light defoliation in the previous week, additional leaves were removed and the plant was lollipopped to clean up the lower growth ✂️ Toward the end of the week, branches were gently spread apart using wires to improve light penetration. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. This week we moved the plants to a more secluded location, which was easier with small autopots. Leveling and terracing the equipment was a pain. I put individual 6 gallon reservoirs for each plant. This allows me about three days before filling up the reservoirs. The biggest problem again was the plants falling over because of wind. They have hit the ground over 20 times, maybe thirty. Each time this dumps the reservoir, so I had to make a ton of water this week. But they keep chugging along. I staked and wired them down and so far so good for three days. The plants are big, with my biggest being 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall. They have mostly recovered from falling over so many times. The branches have hardened so I can’t really stretch out the branches anymore. They’re tighter than I planned…. Flowering has started and should start stacking up on one or two of the plants next week. I’m just running Jack’s RO for weeks 4 to 8. I may start with some fulvic and humic acid soon. Update 11/8...2nd plant is harvested and jarred. The terps on this strain are amazing! I harvested only 1 plant....her sister (the tall purple girl) is still under the lights. Based on dry weight on 4 upper colas harvested 5 days earlier I'm expecting a whopping 160 grams from just the one plant. The colas are super frosty and dense, holding their weight during drying. I've got 40 grams already curing, the rest is still hanging in the dry box. This strain was an absolute pleasure to grow and even an uncured bud smokes smooth and sweet with a nice, even slow burn and white to light grey ash. It's gonna be my go-to from my winter stash line-up!! Thank you Royal Queen Seeds for the opportunity to select and grow one of your strains and for Organic nute setup. It's obvious I snagged an excellent strain grown with topnotch nutrition. I've got 3 more Green Gelato beans and can't wait to pop em next grow.

My second girl is really having a rough time coping with hot temperatures. Summer is really hot where I'm from. It's about 40 outside.. and it's gonna get worse with heatwaves soon.I had been turning on my AC lately but ones I turn it off temp goes up in 10 minutes.. I tried putting ice buckets next to the opening vents in my tent.. but it didn't seem too make a big difference. I added another small fan inside the tent and big fan outside in the room for more cool air circulation. I just hope I can make my girl survive till the end. The buds are still getting bigger and the smell increases with days. Leafs started to die off tho and some started lose colour or get crispy. There's so much leafs that I can't even defoliatiate them all and don't want to touch the buds a lot to ruin them.LOOK AT HER THO SHE IS A BEAST! 🖤🖤👽 I've heard that with heat your pH goes down even if you gave her the correct one. So I think I've got that problem because I calibrate my pH meter every time I use it to avoid problems with pH. Will see in the future...she've got another 2 weeks I'm assuming. Gonna check trichomes in a few days, last time I checked they just started to get milky. I hate summer and heat 😭 it was doing all well before it got soo hot 👿👿🙏💪💪👀👀 oh well Cya next week with an update.

It’ll take me 30 min to trim this whole plant just the way I like it. Most likely be the first one to come down also need to get her ready.

Week 7

These plants are starting to come back nicely . Unfortunately due to me being extraordinary lazy this grow, not maintaining them properly & not on time & the watering issue they suffered they didn't meet their potential!
