I am literally delighted with this strain. We know it is a classic usa strain par excellence, and for sure Fastbuds had access to a super clone to create it but it is really top. I have grown some Californian fem OGs in the past and it looks a lot like us, in a small way, of course, but the shape of the flowers and the particular way of distributing the hair make it unique. Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants. Yes, I'm 60 something and still learning. 😃 Be Great. Chuck.

Going well

Another week of scorching heat has made this lady grow like crazy. I had to do some defoliation as she was so bushy!! I also topped her again. I will be moving her outside this weekend and I will start to lst her to get that nice even canopy that we all love 🔥. I have started watering with Fish Shit and will be doing it weekly now. Humboldt genetics are always a sight to behold!! Onward!!! 😎🍿🍻

Had a great time documenting this grow, despite all the drama going on in my personal life. semana evolutiva, acertando os fatores que faltavam, mantendo o VPD, coloquei a Tela de SCROG para segurar o topo que já tinha ultrapassado a borda do vaso, os demais ramos continuo puxando para a borda, até agora nenhum Pistilo, fechando 4 semanas muito bem, sem estresse e com diferentes intensidades de técnicas em cada Auto, to fazendo meus próprios testes, coloquei as Auto do vaso mais largo para Green House que eu fiz, para posicionar os vasos do Indoor na posição final e adicionar a tela de SCROG, as Auto Outdoor adoraram a casa nova! seguimos..

10/03/2020 Flowering has commenced! And I like how she is stretching, More than my cookie cake did and right at start of flower. I have decided not to top again, but I am going to take clones 2(SOIL) latter in the week, and 1 for DWC. More pics when I take clones (before and after)

Great start for week 10 did some defoliation,they look so happy and healthy, I had issues with the plants they responded well to LST and defoliation. I make sure to remove some leaves here and there. The most important thing to me me in this stage is to make sure they have perfect airflow.

Hi Growmies Here we are on the last week possibly for these beautiful smelling Biscotti Girls. It has been a week of slowly adding weight to the mains for the most part but the #1 girl looks very close to finished already. She has a lot of browned pistils and her buds are rock solid too. Her lowers do still look fairly fresh but I will have to get her on the water inly to give her a flush in case. It is not uncommen to get a second pistil flush that boosts them again but they do look fairly close. Will be using the loupe to check the trichromes in the next day or so too. The other two ladies are happy to continue on amd will get their final full feed tomorrow too. They ate getting nice and sticky to touch now amd are smelling so pineapple sweet too but up real close you can definitely get the diesel whiff too. While there are a lot of bud sites over the grow , I am not overly impressed by any of tje mains sonfar and hope that the last push will get them adding some girth and weight with oil filled sacs to get that potency cooking. I've been feeding just water and allowing them to dry right back , I will harvest once the soil is dry again .

So we are coming into the final week(s). Super frosty. The fan leaves are dripping with tricholmes and so are the buds. Smells amazing like citrus.

The girls are now showing pre flowers and white hairs throughout the plant. One is further along then the others but not by much. I decided to switch the lights to a 12/12 schedule and have fed them with a light dose of nutes. I can't believe how fast they are growing! 😁
