Buying nutrients can get so expensive so I have decided to use tried and true miracle grow. I had some left over from last summer and I am going to use it for this grow. I actually have never tried growing cannabis with miracle grow, so this is a first for me. Miss Gorilla grew a lot this week and produced a lot of new growth. It makes me think this plant may be a bushy plant. According to FB website: "This lady grows stout and bushy, reaching around 150cm while displaying a compact yet robust appearance with wide inter-nodal spacing. She will develop a thick main cola with fat side branches all around while not requiring much maintenance. She can produce up to 650 gr/m2 in around 10 weeks, putting her among the highest-yielding strains we’ve ever created."

Roughly 18 days since they broke soil , had five that sprouted but #4 dried up on me super fast (RIP) #5 is looking like a mutant

I'm behind schedule with my updates, sorry I've been busy... Things have moved along significantly for this girl since last posted. Topping did her some good despite the fan falling on the plant and snapping of one of the main sites. I intend to grow her out during the flowering stage of the 3 others autoflowers and then have her in flowing by herself on the 12/12 schedule in the 3x3 tent. Hopefully she'll be a monster ;) UPDATE *** Testing something out. She is in the midst of ending week 5 and I've transplanted her into a 40L pot to see if this will benefit stronger cola formations and an overall bigger yield. I was given these seeds and had believed they were feminized seeds but I'm starting to see pistils at bud sites. Must also be an auto this will alter my plans for this girl but he will be the last of the 4 auto flowers I have going therefore she will get all the light attention in her final 2-3 weeks.

Acapulco, gold has gone absolutely crazy, and we have so many branches. I have lollipoped her this week, too. She is still stretching, hopefully that's going end real soon, because we have no room left in the tent, and we're getting light burn. I have been moving the plant around to maximise the light exposure and minimise the light stress and heat damage, she has been drinking heavily. However, I have not watered too much as I have a lot of fungus gnats in some of the other soil that I used so I'm going to be letting it dry out a little bit before I water again. I'm just trying to get the fungus gnat population under control with some sticky traps. 01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Just a summary of the materials used for the enthusiasts.... Lighting: 3x Meiju LED Samsung LM301H 240W with Jisun Drivers. Heating: Juwel 200W aquarium heater Nutrition Growth: Hy-Pro Hydro A/B, Ata CalMag. Nutrition Bloom: Atami ATA AWA Max, Ata CalMag, Plagron Green Sensation Containers: 5x 11 liters Bato (2 liters of nutrient solution per container) 36 liter reservoir Extraction: G-Tools 400 M3 adjustable extractor and PK2601 Filter Measuring equipment: Bluelab Guardian EC/PH/Temp Meter, Ali temp/lv meter Irrigation: Pressure compensated drippers 7.6 L/H Disease Prevention: H2O2 50% Silver Stabilized

Somehow I miscalculated the days and started week 6 prematurely. I will just continue here thru to week 7 Day 32 From Seed NYD#2 Started LST. Pot was light, watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.

Future is coming on fast , filling out nicely. Fighting 40c ambient temps here and she’s handling like a champ . Solid

Welcome I was wrong to defoliate in the fifth week, the same week I sent them to bloom Finally begin to bloom, after a week at 12/12 where unfortunately they have vegetated again 😅

She’s stretching a good amount… I did lollipop before I flipped and it’s grown back aggressively which I’m happy about. Hoping slows down on stretch. I’m just over 2 weeks of flower so I’m hoping she doesn’t stretch much more. She’s very healthy and the growth is fantastic. A lot of new branches. She really filled out. I’ll have my work cut out for me on day 21 for defoliation. Very happy with the growth so far. I did supercrop some of the taller aux branches cause they’re getting up there. Just don’t want them getting out of control. This pheno is supposed to to be able to handle stress.

Buds look so frosty this week. She has a little bit of curl in her leaves and also some lighter spots on the edges of some of the big fan leaves. But overall she is looking great and her leaves are so frosty very nice. She has a very nice diesel smell but not as strong as my lemon berry haze plant but it is there, also there is some pine i think and also some sweetness. Very nice watermouthing nice. These week as seen the biggest development of colas in only a few days. We have started to feed pk13/14 aswell as boost accelerater and a and b. Responding well to feed appt from slight nute deficiency in one plants but I suspect due to boost overdose 2 weeks ago.

Rather than forcing an even canopy, we’re allowing each plant to find its own optimal exposure. The key observation this week is simple: they are loving it. It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!
