Hi! Pictures and videos in order as it was done.
My friend brought me some weed (14G) and asked me if I could cook some butter because he has got Chron's disease and want to try if it helps he read somewhere....
I said yes this is pure medical purpose...
This time I wanted to do the bain marie technique basically the same when you melt chocolate in water.
Later on I decided to go back to the old school slow cooking method with very low flame and added water.
Well, this time almost burnt but luckily not and also no water left because nothing to remove next day from the ready product.
Steps:
-500G BUTTER
-14G CANNABIS FLOWER (SILVER HAZE)
-WATER
I. DECARBOXYLATE - I DID 110 CELSIUS APPROX 25-30 MIN.
II. MELTING THE BUTTER.
III. ADDING THE WEED AND STIR.
IV. CHECKING THE PROGRESS TIME TO TIME AND ADD WATER TO AVOID BURNING.
V. WHEN DONE AFTER 4-6 HOURS STRAINED WITH CHEESECLOTH.
VI. WAITING TO COOL DOWN.
VII. PLACE TO THE FRIDGE FOR 30 MIN.
VIII. PLACE TO THE FREEZER FOR ALL NIGHT.
IX. TAKE OUT THE READY PRODUCT CHECK IF WATER AT THE BOTTOM AND REMOVE IF ANY.
X. ENJOY!
HAHA 😄
377G left after cooking up 500G of butter. The colour is crazy deep green and amazing smooth cannabutter smell. ;)
@Polaskis, Thanks mate! This is my second diary of butter making process. I really hope it gives some ideas to those whom want to cook and try and never done it before. Be careful, really strong stuff :)
I still want to try a new things by using isopropyl alcohol 99 percent to make like resin plus I wanna make Oil as well by using trims and flowers from my CBD Blue Shark and Coconut oil. All will be created as a diary here too. ;)
Hi,
Be careful with canna butter for crohn disease. It could provocate some inflammation of the stomache.
In my case, I don t tolerate digestion very well for few hours. After i can trip like someone 👌
Take care
