Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! Had a PH issue which almost spoiled the entire plant. But fantastically I noticed the issue right from the start, so even though she became very yellow she's pushing through till the end and is back to absorbing nutes. +Day 61 started flushing SHE'S A TRUE FIGHTER <3 I'm happy that I managed to learn the importance of pH.

I am loving the Genetics from FAST BUDS! The quality is fantastic! But the hardiness of their plant's is great!!! This young girl has copped some abuse! During my training of her, I have gotten quite rough on many occasions, not on purpose! But accidentally breaking branches e.t.c. However I tape her up with some tape & she comes good after a while. I've found that as long as their is still some of the branch intact, she will mend herself & I've had branches that were broken through more than 3 quarters the way! Just wrap some tape around it to hold it together & it ends up coming good. I've also deliberately been rough with HST, squashing branches, pinching to strengthen stems. Damaging & squashing branches to get the shape & direction I'm after. I actually go around & lightly pinch ( squash ) all new branching to thicken & strengthen them! It works very well. So yeah they are very hardy plants & at the end of the day they are a weed!!!

One of the dark devils is extremely stunted.... it's almost comical how small it is.... but she went through a lot .......it's a wonder she still alive .....some other people might have just thrown her away and started with some other seeds...... but it's kind of an experiment .....to see the extreme they're able to go through

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? This is the beginning of week 3 in bud. I’ve decided to not put the ATF plant in my bud room this round. I’m hoping she will just keep growing slow and my clones will eventually catch up with her so they can all go in together next round. The buds have definitely starting to swell up this past week. They all seem to have bounced back from their week 2 lollipopping. I’m very excited for this Melato in the back. She’s obviously outgrown the other 2 strains I have in the room currently. She’s also started throwing off the most smells as well. With some really strong indica OG gas smells. But other than that, everything normal this week. Just plain PHed water every other day. Young lady has grown quite a bit this week. I have added an osculating fan mid week. I have installed a net today to start a field of green.

So I think this was the 7th week or so but I flipped to flower with a 48 hour dark period around day 53ish. I opened the tent to neon budsites!

This week is dedicated to finalizing the pot and nutrients for the rest of the lifecycle, looks like it took to the nutrients very well not much new upwards growth but new leaf sites appeared!

Some are swelling , one is smelling very different to the others . I seem to have 6 phenos from small to tall and rounded buds to thin spear shaped buds. I'm not sure which is my favourite yet but one has a very unique smell almost like pineapple and exodus cheese , it could be that one but I also like the bud formation on another,, we will see
