Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. She’s finished!!! Heading into my “dying” process. She received her last 18hrs of light. 6hours of darkness then 1hr of light. Pot is completely dry. Next is 72 hrs of darkness in pot. Edit* posted photos following first 72hrs. Next is 72 hrs of dark in water/SLF-100.

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

In week 3 of flowering, the ladies suffered from nutrient deficiency. Due to vacations, they had SPA water only for a week. I immediately added nutrients to the water tank, with an EC of 1.8 I will also add green sensation starting this week. I also defoliated them, all the affected leaves are almost all gone.

In the second week of the 12/12 cycle i've encountered no issues. I've did some more pruning and underneath the screen I've removed pretty much every leaf. I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients once this week. Rest of the week they received 1000 ml ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48 – ph 6.1) each every other day. The cobs stayed at the same height(40 cm/15.7 inch) and power (208 watt) as last week ended (DLI 30.2 – PPFD 699) On day 48 (6th day of this week) I raised the power to 240 watt at a distance of 46 cm/18.1 inch, giving a DLI of 32.4 – PPFD 750 I've sprayed them for one last time with a CannaCure solution (30 ml CannaCure + 150 ml tapwater – ph 6) Temperatures stayed between 20.4 – 25.7 °C (68.7 – 78.2 °F) and humidity levels between 47 – 65 % That's it for this week, up to the next 1! ✋ Do you want to grow this strain? 👉 https://www.barneysfarm.us/pineapple-chunk-weed-strain-15 👈

I subjected her to my version of "light" HST this week (i.e. I snap the stem ~20cm from the top so it's broken but attached, then I massage/twist the broken stem between my fingers until it's crushed and soft, but I don't tip them 90° instead I leave them standing tall). I normally tip them 90° bit this is something I started to do recently and it's more convenient with bushy tight plants (imo).

So day 21 of flower today, major defoliation done yesterday and feed only water and molasses phed to 6.5. The plants look good again but very bare with out the leafs, lots of light can peneetrate the lower buds now tho. Hopefully see some nice growth this week 😀. Day 23 of flower. Been battling humidity these past few days, with the de humidifier on i can get it to 48% so not to bad now, a good purchase lol. Plants are stinking really skunky when you open the room up, but to touch and smell its like pure citric 🍋 lemon. There Starting to put out lots of trichomes now, hopefully I have a good pheno.

Höre jetzt auf mit dem düngen für 2 Wochen. Dann wird mal langsam abgeschnitten, freu mich schon drauf. Sonst hat sich nicht Mega viel getan, Blüten werden dicker, Geruch wird leckerer. Bilder werden geupdatet.
