Started overdrive this week. Should definitely see an increase in bud size now. Some trichromes are already cloudy. I’m planning to give these another 2 weeks and more if need to get the balance of 50/50 amber/cloudy

The Hobbit Hole – Woche 10 Woche 10 ist geschafft – und langsam wird es im Hobbit Hole richtig spannend. Die drei Damen gehen inzwischen deutlich unterschiedliche Wege. Cinderella steht weiterhin sehr vital da und trägt inzwischen eine ganze Reihe schöner, frostiger Blüten. Unter dem Mikroskop zeigt sie überwiegend milchige Trichome, allerdings auch noch einige klare Köpfe und bislang kaum Amber. Sie bekommt also definitiv noch Zeit. Purple Punch gefällt mir diese Woche besonders gut. Die Blüten werden zunehmend kompakter und die dunklen bzw. violetten Farbtöne kommen immer stärker durch. Auch hier zeigt das Mikroskop hauptsächlich milchige Trichome mit noch einigen klaren Köpfen. Wirklich viel Amber ist noch nicht vorhanden – auch sie darf weiterreifen. Gelato bleibt dagegen die deutlich reifste der drei. Die Pflanze geht sichtbar in ihren herbstlichen Fade und unter dem Mikroskop sind inzwischen neben vielen milchigen Trichomen bereits eindeutig bernsteinfarbene Köpfe zu finden. Trotzdem werde ich sie noch nicht ernten. Ich möchte sie bewusst etwas weiter ausreifen lassen und bin gespannt, wie sich das Trichombild in den nächsten Tagen verändert. Besonders erfreulich nach dem wechselhaften Outdoor-Wetter: Alle Pflanzen sind vollständig abgetrocknet und weiterhin ohne sichtbare Anzeichen von Bud Rot oder anderer Fäulnis. Das bleibt jetzt natürlich einer der wichtigsten Punkte bei den täglichen Kontrollen. Ab jetzt entscheidet weniger der Kalender und immer mehr das Mikroskop. Die nächsten Tage könnten vor allem bei der Gelato interessant werden. 🇬🇧 English Week 10 is complete – and things are getting really exciting in the Hobbit Hole now. The three ladies are clearly starting to follow different paths. Cinderella still looks very healthy and has developed plenty of beautiful, frosty flowers. Under the microscope, most trichomes are cloudy, although there are still quite a few clear heads and hardly any amber so far. She definitely needs more time. Purple Punch is one of my favorites this week. Her flowers are becoming increasingly compact and the darker, purple shades are showing more and more. The microscope also shows mainly cloudy trichomes with some clear ones remaining. There isn’t much amber yet, so she will continue to ripen as well. Gelato, on the other hand, is clearly the most mature of the three. The plant is visibly entering her autumn fade, and under the microscope I can now see plenty of cloudy trichomes together with the first clearly amber heads. I’m still not harvesting her yet. I deliberately want to let her mature a little further and see how the trichome ratio develops over the coming days. The best news after the changeable outdoor weather: all plants have dried completely and there are still no visible signs of bud rot or other fungal problems. This will remain one of the most important things to check every day from now on. From this point forward, the calendar becomes less important and the microscope takes over. The next few days could be especially interesting for Gelato.

Week 8 for the Kongs krush from greenhouse seeds 👌 This week we only gave sugars and sticky fingers from xpert nutrients. Amazing results so far 🤯 Some of the buds have a nice purple touch, looks awesome 😎 the smell is incredible For the rest we have water every 2 days. The plants will be harvest in some days

I'm doing a little experiment on these plants. The front row I have completely removed all of the families. The remaining plants I'm going to treat as normal and do my normal pruning routine. I've never defoliated these quite so heavily you'll see how the end result looks. Stay tuned!

🌱 Ghost Train Haze — Week 5 From Seed (Late Veg / Pre-Transition) This week nature reminded us who’s in charge. Outside temps dropped to 4–5°C with 90–95% humidity, and instead of fighting it, we adapted — and so did the girls. 🌡️ Environment • Tent temperature: ~21.8°C • RH: ~58% Considering the outside conditions, this is a very comfortable and stable environment, and the plants are showing zero stress signs. Leaf posture is relaxed, growth is steady, and overall vitality is excellent. We’re embracing seasonal changes rather than forcing extremes — and the plants are responding beautifully. ⸻ Nutrition & Watering Strategy Hand-Watered Plants • pH: 5.9 • EC: 1.43 • New addition this week: CalMag Pro — 1 ml/L This is not a reaction to deficiencies. Calcium and magnesium become increasingly important during this phase due to: • accelerating cell division • structural development • increasing transpiration as light intensity rises Introducing CalMag before problems appear helps maintain: • stronger cell walls • stable nutrient uptake • smoother transition toward flowering This is prevention, not correction. ⸻ Autopot Zone • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.0 • Solution temperature: ~22.8°C In the Autopots we’re running minerals only. Organic inputs don’t behave consistently in passive systems and can lead to: • biofilm buildup • line blockages • unstable nutrient availability Keeping this zone clean, mineral-based, and predictable ensures long-term stability. ⸻ 💡 Light & PPFD • PPFD range: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) • Top light: 100%, unchanged • Plants are praying constantly and clearly growing toward the light — no pushing, no forcing. Under-Canopy & Inner-Canopy Lighting • Beginning of week: OFF • End of week: ON (very gently) This is not to increase total PPFD yet. The goal right now is education, not intensity. By introducing photons: • from below • from inside the canopy • from multiple angles …we’re teaching the plant early that light is everywhere, preparing structure and bud sites for later stages. Intensity will increase only as the plants evolve. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Structure • No heavy training • No aggressive defoliation • Only: • leaf tucking • gentle branch bending • very light LST These plants are naturally compact, with: • beautiful branching • large, healthy leaves • lush green color • excellent vigor in the Autopots Growth is slower compared to other plants in the room, which may be linked to the sativa-leaning genetics. In my experience, sativas often: • develop more slowly early • take longer to finish • but reward patience later We’ll let the plant tell the story. ⸻ 🌸 Veg or Flower? This is a 12/12 from seed run. Some plants in the room are already showing pre-flower. Ghost Train Haze is not — and that’s completely fine. She is still in vegetative growth, building structure. Delayed transition can often mean: • more stretch later • potentially larger final size But we don’t guess — we observe. My little mutt mix strain has been a very interesting, and unique grow. Huge plant tiny potter, lighter comparison pictures above. I Just started seeing a few stray amber trichromes. I will start her on just ph water in a day or two. Letting her use up what energy she has left. This was a struggle of a grow. It's a baby monster plant. I did juice her too much in flowering. We made it through, and she has some nice flowers with a fruity, and kinda earthy aroma. The next update may be a few days late, but it will be the harvest most likely. She grew great in my autoflower room under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. I will see you soon for the chop. We are in week 6 of bloom on a 7 to 8 week flowering time! I am LOVE LOVEING this strain! Within this last week its gotten a Bit hotter later in May! We sare doping grereat tho, She is showing some signs of heat stress in my eyes causde of the burnt tips, I dont think nutrients caused this cause I have not been giving here many nutrients, the top feed and one tiime I gave her some Tastey Terpenes from advanced nutrients. This living soil has been amaazing I honestly dont think I needed to give the plant the Nirvana, I do think it helped. I am light watering with irrated ph balanced for the next few days, might gvive her some sugars molasses yummm. much love looooking to harvest soon, This strain is blowinig my mind, so is this soil. With everything I put into the soil and learning how to build a soil has beeen a journey and im on it! Hoping this plant swells up some in the next weeek put some weight on, now that all the pistols are brown ill check thrichomes soon!!

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Drip line emitter added to the 2x2 with a 5 gallon res - each pot has 2 lines. 11/07 - Heavy water flush - Prep for trim & flip - heavy defol - dropping net - clean water feeds till next week - both tents will be flipped at the same time. 11/09 - 4x4 - 2x2 clones running efficiently - Hard defol in the 4x4 - Hard defol for 2x2 coming - flipping both tents on Wed - Hard flush out this week - running high humidity for the next 2 or 3 weeks.
