Mohawk Meds: Banana Flambe (BF): Realized 2nd Week of germination the lighting was 12/12. Explains the slow start. Now its corrected and started to grow like they should. BF #4 was having some problems breaking soil. I had to dig it completely out and it was curly Qued, growing deeper into the soil the wrong way. I probably planted tap root up. I dug it out and corrected its growth direction. Its cotyledons were present just underground. Unfortunately, between miss planting, 12/12, and digging it up BF #4 did not make it. 😞 They have had spritz of 6.0ph waterx2 each day. Will start to bottom water to get those roots to stretch. Environment is consistent 79F, 60%RH, 320-390ppfd, & 650ppm CO2.

Only had chance to do photos on day 41 guys, apologies for that. This week I think there was a Gamma Radiation leak nearby.. She grew 36cm!!!!!!!!!! 😂 thats OVER 5cm / 2" per day 😍 😎. I think I got another monster on my hands 😂 😍 I'm gonna estimate after harvest 5oz dry 😋 I don't have much more headroom in the tent. I wish she had FIMed properly. This is an area I need to improve... 😑 Lots of flower sites forming! She is quite bushy. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. 1.20.2024: Time to gives this a go. 2.3x2.3 tent, XS1500 light, 2 gal fabric pots. Pots filled with FFOF(90%) & Perlite(10%.) Don't ask me why I chose 90/10. Nutrents are the FF Trio. Also growing a freebee seed from Humboldt Seed Co(Emerald Fire OG Auto.) Decided to germinate directly into the medium. Light is at 50% power at 2.5ft from the top of the pot(s). I'll have the light running 24hrs until it sprouts(fingers crossed it does.) I sprayed the top soil with pH 6.5 water when i stuck the seeds in then placed clear plastic cups over the seed location. My 4inch fan is on the way and it comes with a monitor for temp and humidity....no idea what current stats are. Just hope the damn thing spouts. Fingers crossed. More to come. 1.23.2024: 3 days and still no sprout. Going to give it another day or two before i go fishing for them. Off to a fantastic start! 1.24.2024: They've finally popped....aaaaannnddd we're off! 1.25.2024: Took the lil domes off, opened 2/3 vents for some circulation. Been misting the top soil just to keep it moist with 6.5ph water. I also "bottom fed" 12oz of water just to keep things lubricated. On the fence about when to give the plants a proper watering. Might keep things going "as is" for the next two days. Inline fan and associated hygrometer comes tomorrow(1.26) so i'll finally have an idea on what the current stats are in the tent. Will make adjustments at that point in time. Light is 2.5 ft from soil at 50%. 1.26.2024: Inline fan came yesterday. Only set up the probe just to understand temp and humidity. With the light at 50%, 2 ft from the soil, all vents closed except one(1) port at the top, my current temp hovers around 79 and the RH is 50%. After setting up a humidifier, i'm now running 75 degrees, 64% RH and VPD .58. All within tolerance. I can already tell it will be a delicate dance managing heat, exhaust fan speed and humidity. Still haven't given the plant more than 2 cups of water and i'm only watering when the soil is dry. Tomorrow(1.27) marks 1 week since the seed was dropped. Plan is to lightly water the entire pot when dry for the next week or until growth really kicks in.

We topped the plants once and we do lst ever since. We also defoliate them 3 times during the veg phase, which took 8 full weeks. We stick with the recommended dosages of Canna nutrients for coco and we spray the ladies once a week with Plagron's Vita Race along with Sugar Royal.

6/13/25 everything is coming along smoothly for the black opium autos. I had to pick a seed shell off of the more scraggly looking one but they’re green and happy In their environment. hey gang update!!!!!!! so this heat is legit killing my vibe with the grow box it doesn't help its in the garage as well but ill make the best of it, i started up a couple new seeds as well so ill up date on that also as well, the watering with nutes is fine for the most part i just don't know why its going any further then this lol driving me nuts. lol. any help is appreciate it watch the video for more clarification thanks growmies!!!!!!!!!!!!

The frost and smell are increasing daily. Photos/video taken 84 days after breaking soil, day 42 of flower.

The plants were so crowded I decided to put them into a Larger tent to allow some light to the lower bud sites and to help lower the humidity amongst the plants. I'm sure they will love the extra space. The light has now been raised 20cm (20cm taller tent) Allowing me to turn out right up which is 45000 lux in the centre right below it. I will up the bloom to 2ml/l this coming week.

Was a good learning experience. I'm not going to get near the weight I expected from these, and though the bud turned out really tasty, I don't think I'll grow it again. I'm not sure I would recommend to a newbie. It was in some awesome living soil, but some deficiencies crept up in flower, and I wasn't impressed with the roots upon post mortem exam. On second look, even the photo on msnl's site shows some spots that looks like deficiencies. Definitely some grower errors here, but all of my ongoing grows faced the same challenges and these just seemed less adaptable. Anyhow, I've been graced with some clean meds for now, and I'm a happy growin hooman. 👽 I also probably won't do any more autoflowers moving forward. Just not my style. There are some great peeps doing outstanding work with autos though. Best to them and all! :) D82 - 12.12 - cut the second auto cheese yesterday. Let her go as long as I was comfortable. Think her run in with the gnats resulted in the the deficiencies. Awfully covered in trichs, so it should make for tasty smoke after dried, trimmed and cured.. Shall update
