Day 74: I just checked the trichomes OMG this is quick one it is done getting amber I need to harvest after tomorrow. So she wont get water today tomorrow and Friday is harvest.

Welcome to week 8, their last week before harvest With extra low humidity around 35-45RH and lower night temps (around 20 degrees), i plan on harvesting later this week. There are some signs of amber on the trichomes, but they are still mostly milky. 👽👉 28/11 Keeping the humidity and temp as steady as possible for the last period. 👽👉 29/11 Planning to harvest later this week, when the ladies get thirsty. 👽👉 30/11 I plan on harvesting tomorrow or 2/12 They smell AMAZING, with a twist that is hard to describe! Very fruity and sweet in smell I have been having the humidity very very low the last couple of days, and it have payed off. They are completely covered in trichomes, its hard to even capture on camera. The ladies are very heavy set, i am glad i installed the second safety SCROG net. 👽👉 1/12 HARVEST DAY The buds are so heavy, dense and the aroma and fruits notes are out of this world! Converted the tent to drying tent. Only one fan (Top mounted, pointing downwards away from the crop, and towards the corner) Temperature 18-20 Degrees Humidity 48-54% RH

Well this girls just looking gorgeous now and smells incredible flowers are really chunking up big time now n everything still has to swell yet so I'm really happy with everything this girls doing at the moment Crystal and smell have definitely increased alot this week n starting to see the first orange hairs here n there I'd say probably half way point now depending on what crystals do colour wise at the end as I really want to get this girl absolutely perfect so can take a nice branch back to my friend who supplied the clone As his lot have been decimated by the Borg...thank God I didn't get any as I'm stoked to be bug free other than couple of white fly but I just squish them as I see them haha

Trellis netting is working and I'm spreading the canopy pretty well. We'll see what happens! I would recommended against the actual net I purchased, this shit is bulky, big and too stretchy.

23oct snapped a branch have taken it. Keeps growing well considering I keep breaking things 24oct snapped branch seems to have recovered 25oct watering about 1L twice a day. 1 site is pretty perfectly even going 1 way other half is chaos probably from the few breaks. 26oct took plant out and opened pot to see how roots were going(look fine and heaps of space) did some defoliation also cut the snapped branch for clones and its got 3 tops now. Also turned it around in the tent to change where the light source is. 30oct looking a little sad this morning so didn't feed it this morning might need to dry out a bit. Have tucked most branches back down or tied a few loosely that could reach. Canopy is looking pretty even right now Have a house inspection in a couple days so will have to try hide everything better over the next couple days.

I put a net in to try to get a more even canopy and utilise the space of the tent. It didnt really work too well though. I ended up only leaving it in for periods as i found it really annoying to water and manage devices in the tent with the net in.

This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day.
