Potted in to 20L and put under a 400w mh, they look a little tired as it was right before lights out. All going well and seem quite a vigorous strain

This is my first cultivation with SweetSeeds, I've only heard good reviews about them, so it seems that the first week went well, I will use Biotabs fertilizer for this cultivation - the first time :) so I prepared the soil according to the pre-specified norms on the Biotabs leaflet, according to it now the girl will only receive water for 4 weeks :) Good luck to everyone.

Ende Woche 3 / Anfang Woche 4 – Grow Diary Mimosa X 🍊👊🏻 (Barney’s Farm) Die beiden Ladies haben diese Woche nochmal ordentlich an Höhe zugelegt und entwickeln sich bisher echt stabil. Wenn das so weitergeht, werden das richtig schöne Pflanzen. Beide wurden bereits getoppt und anschließend leicht ins SCROG-Netz eingearbeitet, damit sie sich schön gleichmäßig ausbreiten. Da jetzt schon die ersten kleinen Blütestempel zu sehen sind, habe ich angefangen mit Alga Bloom (2 ml) zu düngen, um die Blütephase optimal einzuleiten. Der Luftbefeuchter von Vivosun macht sich ebenfalls bemerkbar und unterstützt das Wachstum spürbar. Mal schauen, wie sie sich bis nächste Woche weiterentwickeln 👀 Happy Growing Growmies 🌱?💚

Unfortunately, I have very clayey soil, which does not drain well. All the plants in this greenhouse had root rot. I tried to skim it off, but unfortunately I was unable to save the plants. Gorilla Zkittlez, Lemon Drizzle, OG Kush, Blue Dream, Purple Punch died :( 😤😥

Did a little LST yesterday, using some ties to spread things out a bit and they've already turned to the light. Defoliated a bit around the lower leaves to provide more airflow low down and remove some of the big stuff that was no longer getting light.

Update June, 10th Found fungus gnats on samy. Put a safety yellow card into taktloss as well. Fingers double-u'd that they don’t spread. Update June, 7th Flip flop flippidy flop flippidy flip flop floppidy flop! FFW - First Flower Week. Set the clock to 12/12 today and enabled the „flower mode“ of my lamp which basically just enables the red LEDs. So them plants ended up in the red light district now. This week will be continuing/finishing the scrogging and lsting and waiting for the stretch to set in. Only one row of scrog squares is left by now so the timing should be perfect. Plants looking good and healthy. I’m at week 7 of my fertilizer schedule and fed another 3 liters today.

So these Jiffy peat moss pellets are the absolute worst!!! I usually use rock wool cubes but I ran out and decided to try these stupid things again. They just get so water logged or so rock hard dry. It’s hard to keep them in the middle. I had to remove them from my cloning machine because they where just to water logged compared to when I use rock wool or clones in it. 2 of the 3 seedlings came up no problem after they dried out a bit and the third one took another day longer and needed so help getting her shell off. For watering, I’ve just been dunking them halfway into my cloning reservoir and letting them soak up water for a second then pulling them out. This seems to get them wet enough but not soaked. 24hrs or so later they are almost completely dry and I repeat. I’m afraid to let them dry rite up cause they get so rock hard, I can’t see that being good at all for the newly developing, delicate roots being formed. I will update some more pics later in the week when I get my starter 3gal DWC buckets built and going. Cheers 💨

I'm a few days late on updating this diary as well as feeding my girls (well, just a couple days late on feeding) and the weather is not helping! It's 48F and drizzling out, which is prime conditions for mold production😒 but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. So I did include a video this week to give a better look at the girls (And please ignore me saying Amy aka CBD Gorilla is a late September finisher.. It's actually mid-October, I can't keep anything straight) Jojo is still the runt of the litter, Amy is catching up to her big sisters and Bubba and Ice Cool are still the stars of the show. Nice colas plumping up and soon to be ready👏 I'm excited!

5/10 - Can’t wait to see how she dries up!! I’m not the best when it comes the drying portion but I feel confident everything’s ok. (pls don't judge the fact I used a scrog for the dry, I had to leave to work but figured I could chop, hang, then run out the door. Got too excited and forgot to setup the coat hangers and the only thing in arms reach was the scrog hahaha) 5/12 - Looks like everything is going pretty solid! All leaves are still pretty soft and not crispy in the slightest. 60%rH and 51F 5/16 - Had a few warm days outside and that definitely sped some things up. She still isn't quite dried yet so we're still going strong.

Smooth week, lots of trimming and approaching the end of the harvest now (for the autos)

Well it's safe to say the foop will work with legit strong good bacteria! But the focus has to be on the root health when it comes to how much food you can add and still maintain healthy roots. But the game changer for me has been switching to a air stone, 1st and for most. The recirculation pump suggested by foop when running foop in dwc ran the solution temps into the high 70's around 77°F and anything over 75°F has been where root rot sets in for me. Even switched to way smaller recirculation pump with same results. So switching to running a air stone was big! But also found that running one Vivosun 317GPH Air Pump 15W split to 4 plants was not enough air for the roots to be happy in the foop plants. So I moved to a 2nd air pump, same size per tent. So now it's only split to 2 plants on the foop plants. And that made a big difference! But found after a few weeks that I had to bleed a slight amount of air off because there soo much extra air the humidity was sky rocketing in the tent to high 80%. So there's a sweet spot where they get extra air but not soo much that the humidity is affected. But the 2nd most beneficial thing I've done is start running Orca. It has made such a huge difference. I think I need to go up with how much I'm using or find something that works even better if possible. But the sweet spot now is 8 to 9ml total of each foop veg/bloom 1,2 and sweener. When I go to 12ml with foop 1,2 the roots take a noticeable hit. So idk how I would go to the recommended 20 to 50ml per gallon as suggested on the foop grow chart. I tried going to 10ml foop 1,2 on this one but the roots didn't like it and it shows they have never turned back to a blonde or white color again Currently running around 6 to 10ml orca total per feeding. And adding 2 to 4ml when I add foop 1,2 mid week and got happy roots! Also the Seaweed extract has made a difference in the smell the plant puts off. Last few grows have been really muted with smells and this grow I actually get hit in the face when entering grow room. So has made a difference forsure!! I'm soo excited!! Currently has issues getting the humidity below 55% in the grow room. I was running 6 damprids 1 on intake(outside tent) to tent, one on inside of tent(at inlet) and 1 on exhaust(outside tent) for 2x4 tent and 2 hanging at 4x4 tent exhaust and one hanging by ac unit. That brought it down like 5% over all but now I'm running 12 damprids to try and get the room down humidity in the mid 40's. We will see. The house runs a swamp cooler and that basically makes the whole house pressurized. So even tho I sealed the grooe room door and the window with ac the best i can. it's a uphill battle! Once swamp cooler comes on the humidity in grow room climbs like 10%. Wow! So I have reached the end of this journey with 4 wonderful ladies 🚺 ❤️ 💕.. This was the easiest grow of my life lol! And she packed on size and stinky aromas everywhere.. This week I am still working on my slow defoliation, to get some light intake to some of the node sites, while putting the plant under as little stress as possible. I've still been using the molasses, Mykos WP and Fish Sh!t mix every other watering. I also top dressed another 1/4 teaspoon of BioAg TM-7, which once again seemed to help both plants keep their leaves held up longer between waterings. I assume the TM-7 is improving the water retention of the Build A Soil Lite I'm using. I still have the Viparspectra 100w boards, set to about 30% power kept about 14 inches away, this seems to be a good spot for the plants. I'll probably be taking the bottom branches off and cloning them this week, so I can back up these genetics. Update: I went ahead and cloned these ladies to back them up, they are my first plants from seed, so I wanna keep the genetics if I like the flower! I used clone-x, root riot cubes, my AC infinity Germination Kit with 80w led bar on setting 2. I sprayed the clones and inside of the kit with distilled water. Hoping I get some clones rooted soon!

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.
