Hi all. So here we are at the end of another week and its now time to admit a slight defeat with the recovering ladies !!!!. I am not under any illusions that they will fly and take over now so need to flip to 12/12 for the sake of the Amnesia and time constraints. I am impressed they survived the root rot at all so a small stunted bud on a stick is better than no bud at all. I am hopeful the Amnesia will showcase how good the genetics from Sweet seeds are and not damage their reputation with my heat damaged and root issues. Red Hot Cookie has been struggling to get over her rot. She does not look too good but is alive. I will keep her happy and see how she comes through. Sweet Afghani Delicious has done well to grow this week but she has now taken a small christmas tree appearence. I expect she will also remain a midget for the finish , heres to hope. Amnesia Haze is stomping it in her Soil pot. Her week has been very productive. She is covered in mains and even the middle of the plant is forming another ring of mains. I have put them into different positions now and moved the lights around to get the best out of the new SP3000. She is spread out to get even more light as the stretch period takes hold. With decent raining out , i am hoping to get a very good yield from her. Her limbs are solid in strength but still bendable so should help train her out more. I also have the sp250 to give additional side lighting with the tsl2000 forneven more par if needed later in flowering. She is feeding well bybjer looks and takes about 8L before any runoff. I plan to add another round of amendments this week to boost the soil life for flowering.

HARVEST DAY! 162 days after the sprout, and 117 days after the switch. It makes almost 6 months!! What a never-ending journey! I chopped down the princess and decided to place the colas on the usual hanging net without trimming them directly. I just couldn't. Every cola requires at least 30-40 mins to be trimmed properly. I got something like 50 or 60 colas in total. It's a total pain in the ass believe me!!! There are layers consisting in calyx, leaf, calyx, leaf, and so on. You basically need to work between every couple of small calyxes in order to remove the leaf in the middle, while being very careful to not cut down everything. It's insane!!!!!! So.... just wait a little more for the final harvest and the smoke report. They will come, but definitely not now! In the meantime I uploaded some harvest photos and videos. ;-) See you soon!!!

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Until next time! ;) Happy growing and much love from the Shire!

Don't be fooled, this specimen of Pineapple express was born only a week after the other F1 hybrids from Zamnesia but with these latest generation autoflowering plants called f1 noin you're joking, they are really fast, the flower comes together in an instant and poof it's ready . She has begun to grow a lot, she has made a central main cola take off which promises to be very, very interesting, and she is composing the gems. The conditions are all there, we await the decisive weeks for the construction of the flower, cup after cup, we will see what this young lady with the famous name will do. We are sure it will be very interesting. The fertilizer is always a hair too much but I have very little of the paranoia of Italian grandmothers about leaving my girls hungry. Hello growmies, welcome to week 1! 🍪 💜 It's a beautiful baby! 😍 Perfect as can be, even more perfect! 😌 Thanks @Green_Buzz_Nutrients for sponsoring my grow, those products really do their job! 💚 If you want to give them a try, there's a generous discount code in my setup description. ⬇️ Thanks @SensiSeeds for the opportunity, let's do this!! 🚀 💚 🖤 _______________________________________________________________________________________ Purple Cookie Kush Feminized Seeds [Girl Scout Cookies x Purple Kush] Purple Cookie Kush Feminized seeds come from two well-known strains, Girl Scout Cookies and Purple Kush. The 60% indica / 40% sativa heritage leads to a well-balanced hybrid flower. Flavours range from grapes to sandalwood, and the terpene profile is a concoction of many complimentary aromas. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized is a short plant with good yields. Bud formation is dense, similar to many Kush strains. About Purple Cookie Kush Feminized Purple Cookie Kush Feminized takes the hottest GSC genetics and mashes them with a Purple Kush cultivar that was hand chosen for this project. No corners were cut in creating and selecting the right breeding stock for this fantastic strain. The result is a well-balanced hybrid that retains key qualities from its lineage. The Purple Kush parent of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized has a lot to contribute, as evidenced by the plant morphology. The compact nature and sturdy branching can be attributed to those indica-dominant genetics. Another area that the indica influence is evident is in the terpene profile, which includes scents of spicy hashish and earthiness. GSC contributes selected indica traits to Purple Cookie Kush Feminized, but the sativa side of the genes also had an impact. Complex, fruity expressions are detectable in both the mouth and nose of this strain. Before harvesting, during the last few weeks of flowering, growers will notice pleasant scents with floral notes lingering in the garden area. Growth pattern of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized Purple Cookie Kush Feminized seeds grow into a plant that represents in appearance both sativa and indica inheritance. Because this is a feminized strain, growers will not need to sex the plants at the early stages of flower and can accurately anticipate yields knowing that all plants will be flower-producing. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized has sturdy branches, similar to its GSC parent. The strong branches can support the weight of flower growth through harvest. The plant itself is stocky with a compact stature. This is attributed more to the Purple Kush influence. Due to the lower profile and many branches, defoliation is beneficial at various stages of growth. Indoor growers with a controlled climate report final heights in the 120 - 140 cm range. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized finishes flowering in a quick 50-60 day window, which is a distinctly indica quality. Outdoor growers in temperate / Mediterranean climates have seen plants reach over 160 cm with ideal weather. The bud formation of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized is similar to the popular Kush structure. Flowers are dense and compact. The buds are a mixture of swollen, trichome-covered bracts with dark forest-green foliage below. During the last weeks of flowering, the GSC influence adds purple hues to the vegetation. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized is a solid-performing, easy-to-maintain plant with good yields. It is not difficult to achieve the optimal indoor climate, and yields of 425 - 475 grams per m² are possible in these conditions. The ideal outdoor environment will have moderately warm weather and a small percentage of rain within the growing season. Growers in those regions have reported yields reaching 550 grams per plant, sometimes even more! Common plant training techniques are not crucial to the success of this robust, sturdy plant, but some growers looking to maximize yields will use them. Techniques that have been used with great success in canopy control include SOG, SCROG, Supercropping, and Lollipopping. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized handles them all without skipping a beat. Effects, taste and smell of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized The effects of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized usher in a more relaxed and easy-going day than most. It has the benefit of merging both indica and sativa attributes. Euphoric and uplifting effects are associated with sativa cultivars, and these effects are precisely how the Purple Cookie Kush Feminized experience begins. Blissfully distracted from the fast-paced world, thoughts shift to creative endeavours and inspirational goals. As these feelings are front and centre, a mild buzz begins radiating from the inner core. Soon, the indica-leaning effects are felt. Effects turn towards the loosening of tense muscles, the easing of minor aches, and an embracing full-body stone. The flavour profile of Purple Cookie Kush Feminized is almost like a full-course meal. The pairing of flavours is unique and somehow works perfectly. The taste of fresh peeled grapes sits well with the coffee and caramel elements. The indica genetics once again show their dominance with undertones of earthiness and spicy sandalwood to complete the flavour profile. Purple Cookie Kush Feminized has an unmistakably loud grape smell. This trait is not commonly seen in cannabis, but it is fully displayed with this strain. The remainder of the terpene profile is what many would consider the finer aromatic qualities of the GSC strain. Scents of spicy hashish float through the air, complementing the grape aroma whenever the jar is opened. Background notes of earth and sandalwood add another enjoyable layer to the terpene profile. https://sensiseeds.com/en/research/purple-cookie-kush-feminized?sqr=purple%20cookie _______________________________________________________________________________________ Setup: 140x70x200 cm Spiderfarmer tent 2x Monkey 16W fans (not oscillating) 1x Secret Jardin 30W 1x box fan 50W oscillating (on lowest level) LED Full Spectrum 320W AGLEX AGL-320W-MA 5,6 kg foldable, dimmable 864 pieces Samsung LH301H 864umol/s 2,7umol/J full spectrum white + RED 660nm + IR 740nm wavelength range 380-780nm covering 3x4ft Green Buzz Nutrients https://greenbuzzliquids.com/ ❗ Use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) Biobizz Lightmix + coco + wormcastings + perlite Carbon Active Granulate Filter 125/360 cm³/h PrimaKlima exhaust EC 125-400/240 cm³/h

8/5 My previously gorgeous 7ft GDP was sick as fuck. LAST FED 8/6 DIDN'T USE TIGER BLOOM AS IT WAS CHUNKY AND OUTDATED. 8/6 Lost my first plant in four years. Huge grand daddy purple (7FT super bushy) seemed to have root rot or was rootbound. Some of it smelled musty and was brown but I think the stalk got detached from the main rootball. Spider webbed roots all over the bottom of the pot so it looked root bound too but the dirt was loose. I took some pictures but I'm home so it's taking forever to upload. I took a quick video too. I have much more space now so maybe it will end up helping in the long run flowering. At least with airflow. That one plant was a lot of my canopy. Fucking sucks to have to pull out your biggest plant. I needed to see if earwigs were in the soil though. I've been getting insect damage. Didnt find any. Just like last year they lollipop the fucking branches and eat the newly developing shoots and flowers. Also another hundred degree day with super humidity. My other girls seem to be doing well though despite the harsh environment. Last I checked soil ph is back in range. 8/8 Raining today. Plants were super dry and I didn't have time before my wife's doctor's appointment so i wayered with the hoyse lightly. Its only a tad alkaline. I wonder if i can ph a bunch of water andcstore it in buckets or barrels? Ill have to research. WPM doesn't seem as bad but I'm sure it will rear it's ugly head again soon enough. I'll need to do a treatment soon. My blueberry plant in the tote seems like the stalk is breaking away from the root ball like it did on that huge GDP. the plant looks healthy though. Other than some earwig damage on lower branches that will probably be clipped. Flower has started. I tied it to a stake to put it upright but I'm worried about the winds without my tarp. People talked me into taking my back tarp down and I think that's what finally killed the plant. Roots weren't attached and the soil wasn't compact despite the spiderwebbed roots all on the bottom of the plant. The others are doing pretty good considering the circumstances. 8/10 Rained two days in a row. Took a bunch of pictures but they wouldn't upload. Didnt swfoliate today. Plants are actually looking pretty good despite the horrible season we've had. In the 60's today. Thirty degree temperature swing and that's just during the day. Will update more later. Oh and I spoke with a local commercial grower who grows both indoor and out commercially and owns a dispensary. Farm to table. Someone u respect greatly take a look at the pictures/video I have and with our previous conversations and what he saw he said "If you want my honest opinion you did nothing wrong. You have the same strain in smaller containers doing fine so it's not genetics. The plant was rootbound when you got it and you could've even put it in a 100gal and the sane thing would've happened. It was just shooting so many roots our instead of circling because it had been rootbound and was so large. It wouldve happened with that plant regardless. I would chalk this up to nature. You haven't lost plant in four years right?" I nod. "Any seasoned or commercial grower would honestly look at you and be like one plant in four years and your bitching? Cone on man." We went over a bunch if stuff I couldn't upload here and the actual site. It was good to hear this compliment from a commercial grower. I mean he's on another level. He does three outdoor harvests a year here with light dep and has an indoor grow facility and dispensary as well. I'm really lucky to have these types of resources. If you see this shout out to you man! 8/11 Rained last night. Overcast today. Plants liked the rain. Other than some of the leaves that look like they might have septoria the plants seem to be doing good. Especially with the humidity and the varying temperature. With the loss of my biggest plant I think I have room to move some plants. I always plant t I close to the fence. I could move the GDP in front back and move the blueberry in the tote and add a vertical trellis for support. On a positive note I'll have more room to work and I'll have better air flow. As soon as I have a night without rain or a day without showers I'll do another treatment of organocide. I'm also going to start beastie bloom soon. I don't have open sesame and i dont want to buy it. Its the only one i dont have. Still random damage here and there. I've seen several Japanese beetles too. I'm glad I found them. It was on the top of a plant. If it did its thing it would've looked like cigarette burned wall the way through a bud.

Very easy-to-grow plants that aren't causing any problems at all. However, there are two different phenotypes in structure, and the four plants smell very different from each other (the tallest one smells like melon, and one of the shorter ones smells very citrusy).

Haha took me the next morning to finish trimming. I got sleepy 😁 Yo.. Holy cow, my entry is finally finished! What a freaking blast! The Auto version. Cut on Day 98. I got to be kinda serious and still have a ton of fun! I never shy away from something new! So I did 2 of them! My Runtz1 which is this last harvested plant. Was going to be organic. So veg and I top dressed. Hungry late so switched to Success and still kept Green Sensation going. Good weight in the end. Runtz2 was purely Success Nutrients. It was also my first time using it and or synthetic. Omg I love the control it gave me, over everything. ( Omg I feel like a narcissist 😂😂) But seriously, it brought out levels of funk and ice. I've been defoliating slowly trying to keep them small due to a house inspection coming up. Once that's out the way I'll put them in bigger pots then switch to flower. They all outgrew the mutated start and are looking good.

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. These optimisation techniques help both to control its size and structure and to maximise the harvest by enhancing bud production. Wonder Pie marijuana, with a balanced, euphoric and relaxing effect The harvest is ready after about 60-65 days with a yield of up to 550g per m2 cultivated in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of up to 800g per plant cultivated outdoors. It produces flowers completely covered with bright and aromatic resin, it is a good variety to perform Live Resin resin extractions and enjoy them greatly in a resin vaporiser. Wonder Pie offers a sweet and fruity aroma and flavour, with exotic gas touches that permeate the palate for a long-while and drive your taste buds crazy, particularly when inhaled using a cannabis vaporiser. It produces an intense effect of rapid appearance, combining a euphoric and psychedelic feeling with a pleasant body relaxation. It is ideal to consume it at any time of day. Green House Seed Wonder Pie info: Type: Feminised cannabis seed Genetics: Wedding Cake x OG Kush Indica Sativa hybrid Indoors flowering: 60-65 days Outdoors harvest: End of September Indoors yield: Up to 550g per m2 Outdoors yield: Up to 800g per plant For my Grow and entry I will be using soil with some added hydroton and perlite for extra drainage. All feeds will be from the Greenhouse feeding bio nutrients range, that came with the seeds for the purpose of this competition. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Before I go I'd like to thank Greenhouse seeds and Grow diaries for this Amazing oppurtunity Also I would like to wish Good luck and Good Growing to all other Entrants LET'S GROW....... Grey_Wolf

Will re pot these all and hope they all females due to the seeds being regular and not feminised. All looks good will keep eye on pistils to appear or not. Week 12 over! Cant believe how fast this last 3 months has gone! My 6 ladies are powering on and just keep getting bigger and bigger. They have had 2 nute feeds this week and now 2 flush feeds. Planning on going with a 10 day flush. I will continue to upload pictures throughout the week as I'll be asking for a experienced opinion on when to chop. So far I'm seeing literally 1 or 2 amber trichs on the biggest of the 6 but no anywhere else. I'm thinking this is a good sign that my target of cropping next Sunday is still on track. That would be exactly 13 weeks. Buds are looking so so dense. Hard to get a photo that does them justice but the biggest colas are 75mm thick! If your here then please also check out my new diaries where I'm running 3 FastBuds strains. These will be going in my environment as soon as the stardawgs are jarred up.

hello growers" I started the 2nd week of flora by cleaning the reservoirs, adding a new nutrient solution and adding ADVANCED NUTRIENTS BIG BUD and making a big deloliation. 👊 For the beginning of the 2nd week of flora a LOLIPOP pruning was also done. ------- We completed another week, the buds are growing at an accelerated pace. Next week when I'm cleaning the reservoirs, I'll do a new defoliation on the girls. I'm running out of space in my tent they are growing absurdly. 👽

19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.
