Still stretching out them girls are , hope they are almost done 😬.. I think the stretch is pretty well done and my 4x4 tent is full of bud sites wow this is gonna be a great finish I think🤘👌 I took my hps of the hangers and attached it directly to the top of the tent for more room . I have the cool tube hps.with lots of air flow so it doesn't get very hot.

3 weeks into flower and she has the tent all to herself, delighted I went for a 2 plant grow, at least I was still left with one. She has benefited from more space and is looking very healthy and lush. Compost tea extraction again this week and has her fan leaves praying 🙏.

she is chopped and hanging. I took her down at day 46 of flower. she is not a super yielder but she is a heavy Indica smoke and is very nice body and heavy high, very enjoyable. wet I got 133 grams, trimmed and jarred 31 grams. still not bad. she grew small from the start, you could see the Indica, small and good for gorilla grows. she grows really sticky so keep an eye on the smell. from the start of this she took a few days longer to get going than the other testers. she can up on day five from seed. she got a nice 5 week veg time and stayed small. she went into flower with no problem and gained a few inches in flower but still remanded small because of the genes. she frosted up starting in the third week, and as the flowers grew so did the trichomes. she is real sticky starting around the fourth week as well as the heavy smell. again the smell needs to be watched. I did not have to do to much with this one just let her grow. I pinched her a few times during veg and a few in flower. when I say pitched I should say twisted and pinched the top down so the side branches could catch up and also build the side branches and flower sites up. you could increase yield by a 5 gal a good 8 week veg and a net. I had fun with this and will have a smoke report next week on this one. I also was able to get a nice fade of yellows light green and some purples going. real hard to get photos of.

Croissance extrêmement forte et rapide. Pour sa 6e semaine la Critical KUSH explose. Je pense la rempoter en pot de 10L. Le système racinaire est très bien développé. Elle est rempoté toutes les 3 semaines actuellement et je double la taille du contenant. Je l'ai pincé 2 fois cette semaine pour densifier le pied.

Slt, semaine 4 qui se termine. Les plantes récupèrent du topping et de la défoliation qu’elles ont subies au tout début de la semaine,, peu être que je l’ai fait trop tôt, et pas correctement(voir photos) je ne sais pas. Pour la défoliation, j’ai enlevé les plus grosses feuilles seulement quand il y avait suffisamment d’autres petites feuilles pour que la plantes puissent continuer à capter l’énergie de la lumière. En tout cas les plantes semblent récupérer correctement, même si elles ne poussent pas trop en hauteur. Maintenant qu’elles ont cicatrisées, elles devraient reprendre leurs croissances. Voilà, à la semaine prochaine. Happy grow😎

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. D22. First day of the fourth week, one week away from the automatic flower switch. Strong grow, 28cm high and more than 30cm spread, they made 10cm stretch the last three days since last watering on day 19, today the leafs were pointing down and the digital tensiometer was measuring 71mbar in the bottom of the pots. Today I watered again, this time instead of the usual 500ml each I went closer to 5% of the pots giving em 1L each pH to 6.0 and kept EC in 0.9 from base of 0.4 cal-mag, used biobizz grow, hygrozyme 1ml/L and bactohemp, lowered pH with phosphoric acid. I'll start to LST anytime but today I just cut off everything in the first floor to clear the base since it's already in complete shadow. Next step will be to guide them in order to achieve a flat canopy. The lazy plant is getting stronger everyday but leaf color is diferent than their sisters being same strain, will see how she end up next weeks 💪 D25. At three days from fifth week and official flower switch they keep growing strong like 35 to 40cm high and 35 to 40cm spread but after some leaf anomalies and after watering yesterday I saw something weird in the yellow sticky traps, they were full of black pigment and after check em under microscope they seem to be thrip infestation that I gonna treat with foliar phyretrine and neem oil on the soil but meanwhile I put four more sticky traps. On yesterday watering I made leaf juice mixed with cal-mag, fertilizer, bactohemp and hygrozyme, the reaction when aerating the mix was huge! I got the lazy plant higher to be able to receive similar DLI as her sisters but it still keep growing lazier than the others. I hope the fertilizers arrive in time before flower switch!

Continue with the LST this week, I had a small problem when I was tying up the plant, one of the biggest fan leaves was cut, nothing bad, but still unnecessary DAY 45 - Water PH - 5.89 PPM- 576 Solution Temp - 21.8 Watering Volume - 3.1L DAY 48 - Nutes PH - 5.93 PPM- 1940 Solution Temp - 21 Watering Volume - 3L Foliar Spray PH - 5.96 PPM- 227 Solution Temp - 19.6 Watering Volume - 100 mL

Last week's topping turned out to be a FIMing. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wasn't planning for it. I guess that makes it a true FIM. I tied a branch too tight during LST and it snapped while the plant was growing. Reminder to avoid training too tightly.

Day 49 Flip day! Just flipped them to 12/12 took loads of leaves off. Let's see if I've guessed the sex right then 😏 I think I've got 3 fems but people still tell me I want know until I've flipped 🤷‍♂️🏼 Update: Day 50 and day 1 of flower looking very happy will give a nice feed when soil dries out. Lights are now maxed out and on Day 51, day 2 of flower I'm sure all 3 are definitely fems will keep eye on them next few days 👀 Update again: Day 53, Day 4 of flower and they looking beautiful 😍

This week you could see the bud sites starting to really show :) Did some heavy defoliation but again you can't tell by the pictures Pheno #1 and #2 were growing so tall and were stretching every day it was hard to get the lights any higher. Soon they won't be able to go any higher. Feeding schedule stayed constant for most of the grow. See previous weeks

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain the previous night and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were in the low 70's with cloudy skies. Day 2 we had clear skies sunshine. Temperatures were in the low 80's. Day 3 we had partly cloudy skies, low humidity, and temps in the lower 80's. I watered about 1.5 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had lite showers in the morning, partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80's the remainder of the day. Day 5 we had showers in the early morning until afternoon. Then it was mostly sunny with high temperature around 79. Day 6 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's. I watered about 2 gallons from the water hose today. Day 7 it was mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 82°. This week was successful. The plants nearly doubled in height. They've weathered all the rain and are thriving.

Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.

I'm enjoying a lot this genetic, the root system is super healthy and that's giving strong plants with desire to grow and produce frosty flowers :)
