So we have harvested the wedding cheesecake abruptly as I think one might have started too herm possibly as I saw signs hence the abrupt chop of all as only days away from end of week 8. There are no seeds or any disinformation yet I saw under scope slight growing signs of possible coming g of herm so didnt waste time too chop... will inspect once dry all should be okay 🤞 The buds smell absolutely delicious theres more of a creamy cakey aroma bursting through more than anything like a creamy woft through the air. The girls grew amazingly considering I went from auto feed too hand feed although didnt seem too have a negative affect end result shows so I'd like too re run the wedding cheesecake ff again solely by hand/autopot this time all way through. Buds form grameat with great resilience too conditions out of control as I myself have a heatwave and they seemed too handle well. Over all I would strongly recommend this monster of a grower too all, she is a beautifull strain with such a great growing process. I will keep one girl for flower and the not so perfect girl for hash or too be pressed once cured for a month or so... These were flushed only a week unfortunatley due too early chop but as in coco I'm sure I'll be fine after a cure even for the hash girls.

The bud is knock out stuff definitly a night time smoke, too much of this stuff will put you to sleep not to mention a bad case of the munchies before hand. overall growing this strain was easy and enjoyable plus it was great for edibles I made triple choc fudge brownies with the sugar shake that were really good for pain relief I have chronic back pain and this stuff takes it away 👍👍👍

This week I focused on training — topped her multiple times to encourage a bushy structure. She responded well, showing strong growth and lots of new shoots. The stem is thickening nicely and side branches are stretching out, promising a good number of future bud sites. Very happy with how she’s shaping up so far and she ready for training.

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. 15/09 she's turnin brown on the tops 20/09 she is not turning more brown, getting a bit thicker.... Humidity 60+ and spraying her, felt like she was dryin out, want to keep her goin... She's goin to spawn seeds I guess, but she is gaining nicely!!! 22/09 she was turning more brown, was going to lose more than she gained, she's partly Amber with some dry spots, too bad for that SO CUT !! 84gr wet, just like her sister!! I swear, she smells like roasted coffee ❤️❤️ so yummy!!!

12.9 4th veg week done.. Healthy girls now. Blue fire's showed some signs that root space was running low and also nitrogen def. but got it under control and girls are now in final homes. Blue Fires are in 11L plastic pots and the New's in 16L root pouches. They got used to new homes pretty fast and were growing more the next day moved 👌 No hussle there. This is where sometimes I have burned extra time when messing with trasplanting. Maybe rhizotonic had something to do with this. Using it for the first time now. I mixed my soil 75% soil and 25% coco.. usually it's 50/50 but I like to tweak thing a little to see what's up 😉😎🙏 I topped all girls yesterday. Aiming for 6-8 tops in every plant and gonna insert netting there and also use stakes to part that space. Ok happy growing to everyone and thanks for stopping by! 🙏👽
