She’s a beast! As bushy as my gold glue from last round but 3x the heigh and size. I’ve had to go in for defol every week, and she’s still filling back up by the minute. A vast majority of the bracts are beginning to turn purple at the tips, leading me to believe this girl might turn purple before she’s done! Smells like sweet fruit and skunky cologne. Starting to fade here and there, so I’m increasing feed strength to mid-flower and letting her ride it out.

Growing and flowering

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

I’m glad for growdiaries I was able to track the whole progress and go back to review what I did and didn’t do. The grow went fairly well. After battling some flea beetles and over fertilizing and over watering I got the hang of this plant. The strain seems easy to grow and though it’s not cured yet I look forward to trying it. I have been drying a little piece I snipped last week and will try that out in a day or so. Thanks to everyone who helped me on my first journey. Seedsman was great. Covid caused a shipping delay but the seeds got to me Eventually and here she is!!! I’m sharing a harvest video. I stopped it when I saw some webbing in lower buds. Got nervous. Small spider mites infestation at bottom of plant. Cut it out. Trimmed off the leaves I found them on. Read up on what to do next. Not going to trash this harvest over bugs. I figure it’s for me. Growing organically and outdoors obviously comes along with insects. Whether it’s cannabis or vegetables. I’d rather smoke or eat an insect than ingest a pesticide! I’ve cleaned the buds and trimmed them well. Once they dry I’ll give them a good shaking. And check them over to make sure I didn’t miss anything gross. There was a day before legalization that “you got what you got” and based on the people we procured from I doubt they cared if there were dried up bugs in bags. Never thought about it until today. 🤷‍♀️🏻 Not going to worry about it. I’ll do my best and clean my greenhouse. Sprayed down my other plants and out the fan in them. Trimmed some leaves I found to have mites on those. And I’ll get ahead of the issue for next harvest in 2 weeks. I’ll be back to update dry weight and effects soon. Update: dry weight is 50grams pretty happy about that. The buds are light and fluffy. They take up a lot of space. I can’t believe it didn’t all fit in the GIANT mason jar. It’s ok. I planned to gift some to my cheer leaders who listened to me and my grow updates week after week. Cheers to more growdiaries. The veg. continues thru week 6 and the plants grow now very healthy and gain quickly in size and diameter. They love the environment in the HOMBEOX grow-tent and the light-intensity and spectrum of the SANlight LEDs. The two EVO4-120 fixtures are still dimmed to 60%, which is plenty of light for this stage of the growth. My 12 plants are supplied with a water/nutrient-solution from a 'FLEXITANK' 100 liter reservoir via the AUTOPOT-system 'Easy2Grow'. This system has two plants per watering tray and 12 plants fit tightly into the 120x120 cm HOMEBOX tent. I add a little BIO NOVA 'BN-Roots' and 'BN-Zym' to my water and correct it with ph-minus to a ph-value of 6,0. Now the plants can take up all nutrients in the soil they need and continue to grow well. 👍😎

This cheesy girl is stacking buds and doing well. The calyxes are larger than average. Some are the size of a pea. Gave her the weekly 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. The addition of humic/fulvic acid seems to really help the roots absorb nutrients. I have lowered the dose. She has a really great aroma like strawberry cheesecake. Hoping this aroma translates to a nice flavor. Pumping nutrients 24/7. I am expecting to pull over a half pound off this beautiful girl if the run continues to go smooth.
