Weekly update on these absolutely gorgeous girls. I was gone for the beginning of the week and came back today and I swear the flowers have doubled in size. They're smelling super strong and gassy. The flowers are dense as rocks so I hope with the summer heats they'll stay that way and not become airy. All in all Happy Growing.

Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. Hi! How are you? No much since last update here. A lot of trichomes and resin and smell.

Changed the setup completely. Moved them into their new home, a 2x2 tent. For weeks 1-4 they will remain under a 150 Watt Mars Hydro LED. Created an automatic dripper system. Goes off twice, once an hr after lights on and another 5 hrs later, each watering lasts 1 minute.

Spread and and stretching pretty good.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Into week two all cuttings have taken 8 have been topped, spacers have been deployed to train branches 3cm spacers I will increase the size of spacers once the branches develop a little more. about every 3 days Is required depending on how the strain performs. this is a more creative method of growing with the final picture of your media in mind {peecock effect}. once the media has starched I will snap on the spacers to create the scrog for a level canopy, holding the outer plants left and right further out to the left and right for more light exposure to develop my flowers to there full potential. middle of week 2 I put the spacers together to make the scrog mainly two train the left and right rows of plants outwards for more space in the middle of my canopy.

Feb 8 Today marks the 13th week of these girls, it’s been an amazing 1st grow, would highly recommend this strain for first time growers, even the one that had some issues ended up surprising me late flower with new growth, and somehow basically caught up with the strong girl in size, but not density. I learned a lot about how these plants like to be treated, and I will definitely implement new methods to improve my cultivation! See you on harvest day!

A-Day 60, B&C Day 56 A is fattening up! She never did stretch, but then again I had her tied and splayed pretty far out. She has been thirsty, I have been feeding a dose close to 1000 ppm every other feed which has been every other day for her. During the lower feeds, ppm has been around 400. Her tricomes are mostly clear, with some cloudy starting to show. She still has a couple of weeks to go. B- is going to be a producer! She has so many tips and they are all fattening and developing at about the same rate, she is going to be a beast! Did a defoliation on her, she is appreciating the extra light penetration 😎💨 C- Has stretched up and out! If she stacks as tight as the other two, she will probably be the one with the most weight. Her branches are the tallest and reaching up at least 4-6 inches past both her sisters. I tied her down lightly to allow light to get through, we’ll see how she goes.

Made itnto the main part everyone wants to get to... chop day. Wish i had a scale to get a wet weight but for the next harvest of the closet ill have a scale big enough.. loves growing these strains pretty deficiency resistant. Gave them 48hr dark period to see if i can notice a difference. Any questions feel free to ask.

WEEK 8 ~ Beginning of week 2 Flower DAY 8 of Flowering This week Has Been nothing but CRAZY GROWTH!! All plants are super healthy and starting to show their first signs of blooming 🌸 .. last few days I’ve been seeing a little discoloration on one of my kosher lush pheno’s turns out it’s just coco being a biotch again!( PH BEING TO LOW NOW) Lol .. I know it’s only a week in so for me it’s crazy to already see trichomes starting to form . I brought in some support for the plants that should help me with some LST . Next move is putting some bamboo/wooden sticks into a grid over all the plants and making those tops pop up all over this 5x5 !!
