Report on week 3 of veg: I lower the RH to 50-55% while the RM stays relatively on the higher range: 27-29C daytime and 18-22 at night. I had nice visual on the 6th node of BB3, Larry Bird and Gelato plants and few cm. to avoid any eventual stem splitting, so i topped them. I guess the Gorilla will be ready for topping by tomorrow. Unfortunately i have to work with hard water so i have to keep constant eye on the water's EC. For this reason and from personal experience i wont increase the nutrients dosage any time before flowering. The high percentage of worm castings is doing wonders and help me a lot with the substrate's maintance. I did some runoff water measurements and end up with the following values: Gorilla had 2.75EC and 6.5pH, Gelato got 2.70/6.6, Larry 2.85/6.7 and BB 2.20/6.9. Substrate pH is 7.0. Once again, I have to say that Sunmaster's Dual Spectrum HPS are indeed super powerful lamps. I added another clip-fan to ensure a nice breeze around the plants. I will follow the general rule of thumb and give the plants 10-14 days to recover from the HST. Once i week i spray the plants with foliar iron-based nutrient solution👊 (Plagron Vita Race). It boosts the photosynthesis, plus it washes and cleans the leaves. P.s. only the Larry Bird is topped on the pictures. I topped other two today, but i didnt want to switch-off the lights in order to take pictures. Peace!

Bud sites started to appear everywhere, plants are looking healthy and are still stretching a bit. I've decided to add x2 infrared strips to the lighting setup, in order to improve the spectrum for blooming and trigger the emerson effect (infrared 15 mins before full darkness). I did notice in the past that infrared before darkness helps a lot and speed up the whole flowering process. I started to add some "Organic Bloom" to my soup. Various phenotypes are showing their traits, some plants are true sativas, others are more hybrids. I'm going to bet that the most sativas will take a few more weeks to finish. Stay tuned!

Day 23-30/04/22 all looking very healthy gave them a nice watering today about half a liter each! Last week I finally did some lollipopping and defoliation. I had too cause humidity went through the roof and foliage was dense and wet in the mornings. Also fed with the amendment. 5 liters of worm castings, with bone meal, some microlife. Some bud growth started but also trichomes are forming and a strong weed smell is developing in the tent. The growth is far behind compared to the other two though. Not as many buds and the plant is overall more flimsy and has hollow stalks. The very slender leaf growth leaves me to believe that next to being the runt all the grow, the gorilla doesn't seem to enjoy the high feed environment. It also really doesn't respond well to scrogging, it keeps reaching for the light, It remains the odd one out in the tent. The buds are few and far between, I'm not very hopeful this one will produce the grams needed to keep my grams per watt score high. The other two might well compensate for it, we shall see. Day 19-26 (May 10th - May 17th) (Day 21) Stretch is almost over and the plants still look like they’re in veg. I’m seeing almost zero trichomes and when compared to my other room it’s laughable. At least the sites are starting to fill in a little. One plant is super leggy and stretchy. I’m guessing it’s Jack Herer but won’t know until late flower or harvest. The plant in the far left corner has great structure and thick pistil clumps. I’m guessing it’s either blueberry or the white og. Blueberry has a pretty distinct smell so differentiating all the strains won’t be that hard actually. (Day 24) I’ve been rearranging the plants once in a while just to get all sides exposed to some decent light. I never realized how much I value my LED until this run. The only way I would ever use another hps for flower is if it was one of those 1000w DE lights that all the commercial grows use. Sites are starting to fill in quite a bit now. Trichomes are still non existent though. Even on the archive genetics which is really surprising. (Day 25) Pots somewhat dried out finally. Tomorrow I’m going to leach everything with another 2 liters each and top dress with 15ml of nature’s pride bloom, 10ml of Destiny launch and 5ml of kelp meal. I’m starting to see minor N tox on some of the plants so I will probably give them a full gallon. This tent is largely experimental so I’m going to fuck with these plants pretty heavy to iron out some theories and try some new techniques. (Day 26) When I was watering today I noticed that slurricane, Puro loco and guava cake all hermed. The archives just got too stressed out in early veg I think. When I dug up both plants they were still being choked out by the sponge aerogarden plugs. Puro Loco was leading by far in the trichome department too. The guava cake was from a hermed bagseed so it’s not surprising at all but that kind of pisses me off about the “elite” Archive genetics, especially if you paid 200$ for a 10 pack. Then again, it was still my error and not their genetics. Luckily I didn’t pay a dime for them. Running those was a complete waste of time and space. With proper environment and no seedling stress I’m sure I could have grown some amazing looking stuff. All the European and Canadian genes look fine though. I’m sure they would have filled out a lot more if they weren’t being choked out by hermies. No signs of bananas anywhere else. Hopefully the 4 slurricanes I have outdoor this year will pull through without herming.

Just gave recharge, started to see some slight issues and wanna try to nip in butt. We shall see. Tall girl both full of flowers. Measurements from top of soil to top of plant. I think she is done stretching!. I hope!.

Day 64 - beastmode - ripening time a. this plant is huge, drinking 7L a day, almost 8 b. the buds are like rocks, so dense, ive never felt stems this rigid c. keeping her nutrients up high by changing DWC out to Ripen blend, and the PH at 6.0 - it is this plants favourite in DWC d. will ripening these for 2 weeks, then flush and harvest, trichomes are 50/50 clear milky, pistils are just starting to turn pink e. all of the big main colas have been tied back because they are huge Day 65 - explosions a. calyxes are exploding all over the buds b. buds are covered in resin, it was the perfect time to start the ripening process c. she is drinking 7L of ripening formula a day, the buds are rock hard, I had to tie them all back further d. I think we have about 3 more weeks to go! 2 ripening, 1 flush! Day 66 - buds are still swelling up a. the pistils are beginning to turn pink, some of the tips, 1/2mm are orange b. drinking 6-7L a day still Day 67 - monster a. the buds are covered in crystals, the trichome heads are 50% clear still b. the pistils are just starting to turn a little orange 1mm tip of pistil is orange Day 68 - maturing nicely a. the buds are very fragrant and floral, alot like pineapple express b. she is drinking 6L a day right now, ripening blend at 1500ppm Day 69 - buds are rocks a. these buds keep growing! they are very hard, and very sweet smelling b. there is oily sticky resin all over the place c. if you ever want to grow big fat buds like this, and all my plants use Ripen! Day 70 - growing very well! a. will be reducing the light next week to 8 hours off and 16 hours on, the following week 12/12 this will allow the buds to mature properly b. adding some plain PH 6.0 water to start slowly dropping PPMs

Growing great. No large issues. Just fighting the leafs every day. Pulling 20-25 leafs per day? Temps are lowering at night, want to say 62F is about the lowest i have seen. No bugs! No flowers yet, lite concerns on height. i have about 3-4 feet max to work with. can always scrog again or super crop.

if u wanna skip details just read the CAP LETTERS day 29 - januari 2 waterleaves from under the stems got cut off, also trimmed the lowest branches because the leaves were getting too big the soil plant has gotten no trim or cuts at all day 31 the ph of the res was 5.3 i changed water , roots look brown, not rotten or slimy just brown. day 32 the hydro plant gets healthy growth after the water change. ph is still too low (5.5) im waiting for my *PH up* i ordered online. never tought i would need it lol. she goes well on 5.5 but not enough calmag is absorbed like it does on 6.2 The pictures of day 32 display the difference is very big in the stems, the soil plant only got topped while the hydro plant had already a litle trim on the lowest branches and the branches above (in the midle of the bush where i topped them) so she got more stress and still is bigger then the soil. day 33 i got no ph up (for now yikes) sooooo i took 8 liters out of the res and replaced it with pure rainwater and 170 ppm calmag in it without nutrients to keep the acid level a bit higher. it worked as u can see in the final pictures the plant gets new growth a bit faster. ph up should be here by end of the week. day 35: plant start to stretch finnally, while i was doing LST later in the evening one of the top stems just snapped off completely OOOPS 😆. theres still a lot of branching going on and a nice bush she will recover very fast from this loss as i summoned the Cannabis Gods into my room as the planets lined up and perfected my PH up to 6 by adding the purest rainwater from the universe the roots cleaned themselves back to pearlwhite and started absorbing the nutes faster then ever. in all silence i knew this was my destiny and the stems grew so fast i could hear them grow. the whole experience was too much as i collapsed to the ground and stood up left the room and knew... i would never see these ph and calmag problems ever again and went down the stairs with my new powers THE PLANTS BOTH GOT GERMINATED ON SAME DATE. BOTH GOT TOPPED ON SAME NODE. I WAS FORCED TO TRIM 4 BRANCHES OF THE HYDROPLANT BECAUS IS WAS BLOCKING TOO MUCH LIGHT I ALSO CUT OFF THE 4 BIGGEST WATERLEAVES ON THE MAIN STEM. THE SOILPLANT DID NOT NEED ANY TRIMS AS SHE IS NOT GROWING AT AN INSANE SPEED, HOWEVER THE SOIL PLANT LOOKS HEALTHIER AND BIGGER BECAUSE THE FANLEAVES ARE STILL THERE. IF U WATCH THE STEMS IN THE PICTURES OF DAY 32 U CAN CLEARLY SEE THE HYDRO IS WAY BIGGER. I NEED TO CORRECT MY PH SO SHE ABSORBS MORE CALCIUM MAGNESIUM FOR EXPLOSIVE GROWTH.

I wish I could have put them in then tent a few days sooner to speed up growth but all good, ladies needed a few extra days in there. They were transplanted on the last day of this week. Doing a tent full of autos this grow, 20-4 light schedule with 7 plants 7 strains. this diary of course will just be covering my lady purple haze. I put them in 1gal pots for now and will be trans planting to 3gal in about 7-10 days.

Very easy trim job with the dense buds she had. Very happy with the whole grow. Thanks to those of you who followed along 🙏
