Tag 14 Die erste Woche der Keimung war… sagen wir mal, eine echte Herausforderung. Und auch in die zweite Woche starten wir mit einigen Schwierigkeiten. Der pH-Wert im Gießwasser tanzt immer noch Tango und will sich einfach nicht stabilisieren lassen. Alle sechs Stunden muss ich ran und nachjustieren – ganz schön zeitaufwendig! Auch die Temperaturen sind noch ein Thema. 27 Grad sind einfach zu hoch, und da die kleinen Pflänzchen noch keine schattenspendenden Blätter haben, heizt es ordentlich auf. Ich habe mir aber mit Kühlpacks beholfen und das Gießwasser auf angenehme 22 Grad runtergekühlt. Hoffentlich mögen das die Wurzeln! Immerhin: Die Wurzelbildung scheint gut voranzugehen, jede Pflanze hat jetzt schon ein kleines Wurzelnetz entwickelt. Um jeder Pflanze die besten Startbedingungen zu geben, habe ich ihnen jetzt jeweils ein eigenes Licht spendiert. So kann ich die optimalen Werte für jede einzelne einstellen. Ob das alles so klappt, wie ich es mir vorstelle, wird sich in den nächsten Wochen zeigen. Aber wir starten optimistisch in Tag 14! Was steht heute auf dem Plan? Ich werde die pH-Werte im Auge behalten und schauen, ob die Kühlpacks die Wassertemperatur stabil halten können. Außerdem werde ich die kleinen Pflanzen genau beobachten, ob es ihnen gut geht. Topped and installed the scrog net this week, they took a bit to recover from topping and also defoliated 48 hours after. Changed out the nutrient solution and upped the nutes. I was hoping for more growth at this point but overall I think I'm only about a week behind. Being my first grow, I didnt know what to expect.

It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). had an issue with ph right after transplant, not sure if water was off or soil had a surge. im thinking fish tank water ph was way low. issue corrected. Removed some leaves for structure and airflow. LST and FIM. See what it looks like next week.

Day 50 overdue feeding and watering. 5g SimPro Bloom half gallon of 6.5PH spring water each. I'll never choose this fertigation method again. So much easier to amend the medium then top dress every 30 days. The plants seem normal for 50 days from seed, but not normal for a plant that is supposed to be harvest ready 60 days from seed. A few people here on GDs ran this strain way passed 60 days and maybe this is why. It's possible some phenotypes just take longer. No smell and no trichomes at this point. I would guess they need another 25 to 30 days to nug up. Day 52 they are both praying but still cannibalizing themselves. 5g isn't enough. Considering a top dressing. Day 54 - pulling 5 yellow leaves per day. This is not nutrient deficiency, these plants are fading. SMH I am behind pissed! Wasted 2 months of tent space and nutrients. I didn't do everything right, but the lesson for me is to stay away from fast strains. This is actually motivation to switch to photos. More forgiving of the small mistakes. In this case I overwatered in early veg. I should have tossed them both then. My preamendment ratios were off and I switched to water feeding during preflower. All of this has resulted in a plant that looks to be done in a week with marble sized fluffy buds that have zero trichomes and no smell. PISSED OFF!!!!! I'm learning through my failure but it still sucks! Day 55 Watered both with rain water, CalMag, and SimPro Bloom. I know CalMag isn't recommended in flower but I don't care about this bull crap plant anymore. I'm popping new beans and am gonna run these two as far as possible to see if I can get a decent top cola at least. Still pretty pissed. Day 56 Pics show how they respond to watering. Sheryl is praying, Candace leaves are up, but not praying like Sheryl. The only smell on either is from a stem rub. No visible trichomes. Not when I even zoom in. So odd! Day 58 Finally have some odor! These plants are growing like a regular auto-flower. I've been freaking out because the breeder says it's a fast strain (60 days). The lesson here is to always listen to the plant. Scrap the website crap and pay attention to pistils, leaves, and trichomes. They look and smell good for day 58. The yellow leaves are likely due to me adopting an abbreviated / hybrid feed schedule to suit 60 day seed to harvest. The day 55 feeding was 6g of SimPro Bloom in 51oz of water and that seemed to hit the spot. I need a good loupe so I can have a strong finish. Day 61 Fed Candace 1tbl of Terp Tea with Azos & Mykos, plus Fish Sh!t. Half gallon of Spring water. Bottom fed Sheryl Azos, mykos, & half tbls of SimPro Veg in 16oz of Spring water.

Leaves are fading and seeing some frost coming in more and more every day.The buds are packing on a little more weight and putting off a sweet aroma in the air.I have increased the light up to 70 percent intensity and we will see how they do.

Seeds look healthy and have been planted in small cups after being successfully germinated. I'll pick two out of three. They took a long time to grow and mature 10 months in all. They produced amazing flowers with a genuine high. Left a lot to be desired in flavour profile however not awful to smoke. Would grow again for sure as they were a high yielding, ‘set and forget’ type of strain easy and resilient enough to grow and highly impressive to see grown outdoor.

Day 51 - Starting a new week and she needed some water and nutes for sure. I also added some molasses to the mixture on advice from a friend so we’ll see what that does for her. She’s still stretching quite a bit and looking forward to the buds really starting to develop. Day 52 - Everything is looking good with this girl. She’s definitely a lengthy girl and somewhat “petite” but looking nice and healthy and starting to bud up nicely. Day 53 - All is looking good and nothing much new to report today. She’s stretching like crazy right now, almost 2 inches the last 24 hours. It’s probably going to be another day or two before she needs some water. She’s not drinking as much as my other two. Day 54 - Everything’s still looking good with the girl. She’s definitely lengthy but I’m sure she’ll fill out in due time. She’s not very “full” of fan leaves and such so that should help out cause bud sites aren’t blocked. I gave her a gallon of water and nutes and it’s really helping her grow. Day 55 - Almost the end of week 8 and she’s chugging along nicely. Didn’t really do much with her, just wanted to readjust her in the tent. Day 56 - The end of another week and she’s coming along nicely. Still really lengthy but I’m hoping and expecting her to do really well. I clipped off a couple low branches to keep energy focused on the main branches. She’s behind the other girls on water but should still need some by the end of the weekend.

I love this pheno compared to the other hard diesel pheno #2 this one has a beautiful structure, and the buds are very dense hard and sticky as hell, the aroma it's really strong and stinky, I would definitely run her again, gea seeds always provides high quality strains and seeds to the growers! Day 22 (2020-05-31): Did some additional LST and defoliation. For LST I used wire hooks pushed into the soil to encourage sideways growth of the new branches. The G14 looks a lot bushier but it did not have as many large leaves that needs to be removed. Also, due to it's mutant nature, it started with two main branches. Maybe I should have pinched one back, but it seems very healthy so far. Roots are poking out the bottom of both pots. Not sure if this is bad or not. It did not happen in my previous grow but was using 3 gal instead of 2 gal fabric pots. Day 23 (2020-06-01): Investigated the mesh cup filter I am using with the Blumats. Turns out I had it backwards and it had some slimy feeling film inside. Not sure if that is contributing to the PH rise when water sits in the tubing, but I cleaned it out and swapped it the right way. Made some small LST adjustments. Day 24 (2020-06-02): Removed a couple of blocking leaves, made some slight LST tweaks to even things out. One of the Blumats seemed like it was not dripping but bleeding the line caused it to kick in. Must have still had some residual air in the system from yesterday's filter adjustment. PH is still a bit higher coming out of the line, but is much improved. Will continue to monitor. If it stays high may try removing the filter altogether to eliminate that possibility. Day 25 (2020-06-03): Changed the reservoir out. PH was high, but still in range but the water was cloudy and had a pretty rotten smell. Going to check PH and smell daily and see if I can get a handle on what is happening. Maybe I just need to have a regular changing schedule. Day 26 (2020-06-04): PH of reservoir at 5.6. Day 27 (2020-06-05): PH of reservoir at 5.7. DId some LST adjustments and removed a few larger leaves. Noticed some light discoloration spots on a couple of the older leaves. Moved lights a bit closer (21") Day 28 (2020-06-06): Noticed some yellowing on the tips of some of the new growth. I checked the lights and they had been way closer than I thought. Moved to correct distance to see if it may have been early signs of light burn. PH of reservoir is at 6.2. Most likely will change out tomorrow. I also noticed today a bit of white fuzz mold growing on the outside of the pots and even a little bit on the surface of the coco. I am going to turn off the humidifier for a few days and get some 3% H2O2 to wipe down the outside of the pots.
