T hey were sitting in a fluffy bed of enriched soil mix, full of beneficials like microorganisms, mycorrhizae, and microbacteria. 🍄 The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before 🍂 and refreshed in springtime 🌱, so the ladies can dig in deep and grow like queens. 👑 This year I added 2 SCROGS—and that was very good. ✨ They were also covered by a roof 🏠, which was very necessary this season because it was very cold and rainy in spring and summer, with only a few weeks of lots of sun and heat. ☀️🔥 I think that's the reason all my outdoor ladies took 4 weeks longer to mature. Lollipopped the widow x clones since they’re monster cropped clones. Lots of defoliation. All plants are in 12/12; I no longer have a veg tent. I do not have room to allow the plants to continue to veg. After smoking some of the mother widow x plant; I firmly believe it is white widow. The seed I originally planted came from a mixture of berry white and white widow. I wasn’t sure which bud the seed had come from so we labeled it “widow x”.

With this thick headbud, there is a risk of getting wet and bad weather and we dont want any budrod so we cut the headbud after 66 days from seed to harvest we took away some fan leafs and hung it up to dry. the lower buds may need a few more days. Aug 30: it’s very hot still but buds are looking really good. Starting to fill in and getting sticky, but still several weeks to go. Likely late September harvest, but it will be a very big yield, likely 500g. Hopefully. Sep 2: heat wave is past and we now have a couple days of smoke from wildfires in the NWT. Decreased water volume from 9 L/day when it was hot to 6 L/day now. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow it up with a red light.

Overall I was very satisfied with this grow. Pyramid seeds did a excellent job with this strain I highly recommend it to all growers new and experienced. It’s a easy to grow plant does really well in veg. I give this grow a 9 out of 10.

The Red Pure develops extremely quickly. I have therefore not been able to keep up with the fertilisation scheme in time to switch to the flowering fertiliser and also adjust the CalMag ratio. You can recognise a slight lack of potassium and magnesium. Nevertheless, it continues to develop very well and you can see how the flowers and leaves are slowly turning purple.
