Seedling is doing well, trying not to over water and keep the RH high around 68-70%. Changed the light schedule to 18/6 mid week. Seems to be doing ok with the slightly colder temps at night. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

08/30/2008 Day 1 week 4 Seedling leaves turning pale, started nutrients today Advanced Nutrients Grow,Micro,Bloom at .25% quarter strength 💪 of recommendation. I will ease her into the nutes. First res. Change today also. Ps. I noticed under day light she has burgundy coloured stems,like her mom but we will see if adding nutes changes this... I believe it's genetic ! 😎 Also changed lights to 16-8 and red spectrum turned to 50%, prepare her for the flip!..... 09/05/2018 Noticed i noticed in the last pic a little fert burn 🔥 but that's why I increase it slow 🐌 but got decent amount of growth so onto 1/2strength for next reservoir change in week 5 .😎

Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. In response to the UV-B signal, the plant ramps up the biosynthesis of protective compounds like flavonoids, phenolic acids, and anthocyanins. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

D29 Did top dressing with bone and kelp meal as well as worm castings. D31 Performed a little more LST, a few more days and I will let her do her thing. D32 More LST exposed lower nodes and evened out the canopy. D33 Removed all bonsai wire and rolled down the rim of the pot to even it out with to soil, more airflow. D35 Not much growth but overall looking pretty good. Heatwave last couple days keep temperatures higher than desired.

Week 10 - she stop stretching finally and the high is 93cm and I can see that the buds are stretching instead which is good. Looking forward to see how fat she will be, I think another. 3-4 weeks and flush time.

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Weathers been great, a little cold in the mornings, but sunny and 25c every day. Flowering looking great, close to week 5. All the LST done, now to just sit back and wait. Heavy top dress of compost mixed with 70/30 Gaia Green PB/AP (20Tbsp). Weekly spray of BT/Lactobacillus/Epsom, occasionally soil drench of Lactobacillus as well, which is 50% molasses (1-2 Tbsp per gallon). Still seeing tons of moth / caterpillar eggs on mesh netting, but the wasps are making short work of them. Nice even (almost) canopy is making for some great uniform flowering. **Bonus last picture** I had an extra GC FF as a "backup", planted same time but early flowered due to root bound 7 gallon I assume, notice all the single bladed fan leaves, stress maybe? Just harvested, looks good, but I'm sure my main plant will be much better.. Early flowering was sure nice.

Absolutely blown away by the new 2025 setup, prev ran 3 tents 😂, switched to AC Ifinity 2,4 x 1,2 single tent, 3 x 150 or 6“ fans. Fans all port outside, 2 exhaust with yet uncoupled carbon filters, 1 inlet with pollen filter. 6-7 air push fans (not all yet on 😂). SpiderFarmer 16L humidifier, inkbird RH control, inkbird heat control, heater, trotek dehumidifier (12L) with drain line and reservoir. Blumat system with RO fed 20L water butt, each pot with 3 long ceramic blumats. Data logger from SensorPush including WiFi hub and 4 sensors. One in cellar room (lung room), one above each plant canopy. Setup logger n sensors and track VPD. System running itself

Week 8: Day 50-53: All seemed well with the White Crack plants, gave em their normal feed on day 51 PH'd to 6.5 and measured runoff PH(only got enough from WC#1 and #2). WC#1 read an astoundingly low 5.3 PH!! Like what??? No visible signs of stress or deficiences, but leaves feel less healthy than the other 2 White Cracks. WC#2's runoff measured at higher than ingoing at 6.7PH, which I think means I'm under feeding her. She looks insanely healthy though, so will just up her and WC#3's doses next feed, as they both look like very similar phenos and leaves feel and look healthy on both plants. Day 54-56: Ok so decided to flush WC#1 like I did with the 4 Assed Monkeys because runoff was more tha 1 whole PH off from ingoing last feed on day 51. Ended up with a runoff of 6.5PH, same as ingoing feeding immediately after the flush read 6+PH(took 4L of 6.5 PH'd water with regulator). Fed WC#2 and #3 with their scheduled calmg feed but I added some super PK this time to get the PH of the soil down a bit. Ended up getting 6,2-6,4 runoff on both plants, very happy with results of all my runoff now. Finally got that behind me... End of Week 8: WC#1 seems to be finishing the fastest, along with 4AM#1(if we go by the orange pistils). WC#2 and #3 have really stretched a bit more these past few weeks catching up to WC#1, and they all look amazing! Really stoked for the end of the month!

She is trying hard to keep up with the amnesia but I think she is also destined to be short and fat. The tops look primed to develop into lovely fat buds, a lot broader than the others. She is starting to get a nice minty scent to her.
