Die Black Orchid ist etwas gedrungener und "buschiger" gewachsen, während die Jungle Lava für meinen Growstyle perfekte Internodien und insgesamt ein sehr gutes Wuchsverhalten zeigt. Die Wurzeln sind super gesund und gleichmäßig, die Länge und Größe der Blätter passt und das macht das Entlauben sehr angenehm. Im Moment kommt insgesamt eindeutig der OG Kush Geruch sehr dominant durch, aber die Black Orchid hat auch noch eine gute Prise Zitrone an Board. Morgen mach ich mal die ersten Bilder der Trichome und reiche sie dann nach, Licht ist leider gerade aus gegangen. Tag 59: Die Bilder sind da und ich mag sie. Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

This weather has been fucking with this grow way too much, one day it’s super cold & the other it’s like i’m living in the desert & when i get them out of my greenhouse because of the crazy temperatures it would start raining a half our later way too many times :/ i tried my best but this grow won’t be my best one🤷‍♂️🏻

Pre-flowering/stretch phase is about to start. - 12/5 Changed the reservoir water and made a new N&K boosted patch: - 0.95ml/l Micro & Bloom - 1.75ml/l Grow - 1.9ml/l Terpinator - 1.2ml/l Fulvic/Diamond Nectar - 0.5ml/l Hydroguard * Beneficials and some bloom boosters included — Ending EC: 1.6 / TDS: 810ppm — pH adjusted down to 5.6 (letting drift up to 6.2 for full pH scale absorption) 12/6-12/7 overnight water level dropped & she drank like 1.5L / topped with weak nute solution. 📆 12/8 started a Negative DIF testing. DIF meaning difference between day and night temp. Usually DIF is positive when day temperature is greater than night, which is naturally. But by manipulating your DIF in negative (Warmer night temps than day temp) we do reduce 30% of stem elongation AKA stretch. — Negative DIF in hydro growing can greatly impact in yields if the stretch being controlled right way. • 12/9 - 2nd uppest new shoot length: 3cm / 1.2" (new measurement @ 12/10 night) 📆 12/9 - Topped res with 3ml Terpinator, 1ml Bloom & 1ml HG. - EC topped to 1.8 (1.6 was starting)

Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Apr 16, Day 6 - VPD 1.0 - 500ml water with Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L, Vitathrive @ 0.5ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 0.5ml/L. - 300ppm with 5.8pH - Her leaf tips are staying more horizontal. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Hi Growmies,this was the last week of nutes she’s getting. Feels like I completely misjudged how far she is along, as it seems like she has started the ripening process. Ph and ec was in line the whole time, once the leaves started fading i thought that I have a lock out or sth, so I fed canna flush for a day and continued with a fresh reservoir as per my regular feeding schedule, To no avail, as she continues to fade, even after. Not a Biggy, as the trichomes are definitely all far enough along to harvest her after the next week of flushing. Thanks for stepping by and until next week :)

Hi legends, Day 47 of week 7 This week has seen a massive difference, 3 of the plants have started turning purple which I find strange as all the cutting were taken from the same mother plant. we also have a leaf with seed pod the same as Bnc grower, not sure what causes this anyone? but my guess is that she just wants to get germinated any way she can.. Have started to flush with pre RO water at ph 6.3, this is near impossible to ph with a meter at 0 CF, So I have to PH the water with PH 6. 7.6 colour chart. Also this week the buds are much more resinous and the aromas are fantastic, especially fruity with a very distinct peach smell. I also noted that IMO many smaller buds have not been receiving enough light and therefore not ripening as well, these will be used for making hash looking at the trichomes most still clear but on the purple plant they are mostly cloudy. Ttfn Greenies 😍

I can tell she’s starting to stretch, I saw the hairs forming last week so this may be week 2 flower, I’m pretty new to this.

-4/30/23 Start of week --Week 6 -5/1/23 (Day 44) --Observations: getting clustered in the middle, still growing at a good rate --Changes: removes some shade leaves -5/2/23 (Day 45) --Changes: added new guiders --Comments: some new guiders were added to first set of side branches, should help lengthen branches and make some space for the other ones. -5/3/23 (Day 46) --Changes: removed two of the branches (used for clones), added new guiders --Comments: to free up space two branches were removed, the remaining spade leaf branch and the branch on the bottom side of the main stem. these branches were used as potential clones, one might not survive because the stem is short and curved but the other will most likely take root. after branch removal new guiders were added to pull down the remaining vertical branch, also guiders were placed to influence second set of side branches. -5/6/34 (Day 49) --Observations: starting to get clustered again --Changes: defoliation, added new guiders --Comments: removed several shade leaves to free up space, also added some guiders to secondary branches to try and keep them from growing into each other during the pre-flower stretch. tomorrow will be the start of flower cycle, the light is getting set to 12/12 light/night at the end of today. will not be removing any leaves or branches during the first three weeks of flower cycle, at the end of week three a defoliation will be done if needed. -5/6/23 End of Week
