Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. It was probably the hottest week of the year with a maximum of 34° C, a lot of water had to be administered, especially the Frisian Dew in the pot. On the other hand, I continue to enjoy the good appearance of the plants, with no pests, caterpillars, aphids or similar to be found so far. Even the slugs are no longer interested in the leaves, there are now so many flowers in the garden that simply taste better. As the flowering that I have read about already begins with the pre-flowering, I can say that all the plants in this report are flowering. Only the Durban Poison is by far the fastest and is already producing buds and seeds. As I had used regular seed for the Durban Poison, I fertilised it with pollen from a remaining male Durban Poison. The seed pods are already visible and look promising. The Durban Poison flowers are purple in depth, at least in my phenotype, and it doesn't need as much water as Frisian Dew and Shaman. The Shaman and Frisian Dew in the garden are showing their best side and continue to grow diligently, they need much less water than the others, probably due to roots that reach deep down. Do Durban Poison, Frisian Dew and Shaman actually have tap roots? However, I would really like all the plants to start producing flower buds now, as it is already mid-August. I had to defoliate the very Bushy short super critical. She has a ton of Budsight/preflower on her they were all just drowning in leaves . Did that Yesterday. 9/4 . So far she took it well . And all those budsights are now exposed to beautiful light. But lets see during the week if she Will get any set back the Lil Girl

Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

There’s microscopic bugs crawling on my buds! Going to post a grow question about them. No more nutrients, she’s definitely getting close, so let’s use plain water and hope for the best in the next week or two.
