💚 Amnesia Haze Auto by Zamnesia – Pheno B Week 7 | Small Pot, Big Dreams Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! One of the reasons I love growing multiple phenotypes is because every now and then a plant completely rewrites the expectations we had for her. Pheno B is doing exactly that. From the beginning she has been the more compact sister. Shorter. Slightly slower to flower. More reserved in the way she expressed her genetics. But this week... She's making a statement. Looking at her today, it's becoming increasingly difficult to believe she's growing in just 11 litres of soil. Sometimes the plants teach us lessons we weren't planning to learn. And I think this lady is about to teach me one. 🌱 The 12/12 From Seed Adventure If you're joining this diary for the first time, welcome! Every plant in this room has been grown under a 12 hours on / 12 hours off light schedule from the day the seeds germinated. There is no traditional vegetative period. Instead, each phenotype is allowed to express its natural architecture almost immediately, making it much easier to compare stretch, flowering speed, branch development, internodal spacing and overall efficiency. The goal isn't simply producing flowers. It's learning how genetics behave when every environmental variable remains identical. Same room. Same lights. Same nutrients. Same watering. Same environmental conditions. Only the genetics are telling the story. And every week they continue proving just how different sisters can become. 🌿 Why Only an 11 Litre Pot? This run also includes another little experiment. Normally, I prefer giving plants considerably more root volume when growing in soil. So naturally... My curiosity got the better of me. I decided to grow this phenotype in an 11 litre pot, fully expecting the smaller root zone to become the limiting factor later in flower. Instead... She's proving me wrong. The entire plant looks vigorous. Healthy. Balanced. Strong. Which reminds us of something very important. When we're feeding with bottled nutrients, even in soil, we're essentially supplying everything the plant needs directly through the irrigation. The roots still matter enormously. But bigger roots don't automatically guarantee bigger flowers. Genetics. Nutrition. Environment. Root health. Everything works together. This little experiment is becoming a perfect reminder that sometimes there are more variables involved than simple pot size. And honestly... I couldn't be happier about being proven wrong. 🌸 Flower Development Begins Accelerating This week the transition is unmistakable. Stretch is beginning to slow while flower production accelerates across the entire plant. Every growing tip is now producing clusters of bright white pistils. The calyxes are beginning to stack. The future colas are becoming easy to identify. Instead of long empty stems, the branches are now filling with flowering sites that promise to connect beautifully over the coming weeks. One thing I particularly enjoy is how symmetrical everything feels. The branches are evenly spaced. The internodes are short without becoming overcrowded. The central cola remains dominant while every side branch receives plenty of light. It's the kind of structure growers hope for because it naturally lends itself to dense, uniform flower production. Nature really did most of the work here. 🍃 Healthy Leaves Tell Their Own Story One of the easiest ways to judge how comfortable a plant feels is simply by looking at her leaves. This week they're saying everything I hoped to see. Rich green colour. Excellent turgor. No deficiencies. No toxicity. No unnecessary curling. No signs of stress despite the warmer summer temperatures. They're acting exactly as they should: Tiny solar panels converting light into the energy that will eventually become flowers. Sometimes growers become too eager to remove healthy foliage. Personally, I prefer letting the plant decide what she still needs. A little leaf tucking whenever necessary has been more than enough to keep every developing bud site exposed while allowing the canopy to remain full of energy-producing leaves. Sometimes patience is still the best form of training. 💧 Feeding for the Bulking Phase With flowering now fully underway, nutrition continues shifting toward supporting heavy flower production while maintaining healthy metabolism throughout the canopy. This week's feeding program includes: • Plagron Terra Bloom — 2 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds — 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Plagron Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation — 1 ml/L • pH adjustment using Plagron pH Plus and Lemon Kick The EC has now increased to 1.95, providing plenty of available nutrition while still allowing the plant to feed comfortably. Green Sensation continues playing an increasingly important role. Rather than acting as a simple PK booster, it supports nutrient uptake, flower development, resin production and overall plant vitality during the weeks when the plant's energy demands increase dramatically. So far... She's absolutely loving it. 💡 Welcoming Lumiflora Under-Canopy Lighting This week also marks another exciting milestone. I've introduced Lumiflora under-canopy lighting into the room. Most growers focus almost exclusively on illuminating the top of the canopy. But once plants begin developing dense flower sites, the lower and inner branches often receive significantly less usable light. That's where under-canopy lighting becomes incredibly interesting. Rather than replacing the main fixture, it complements it. By delivering additional light underneath the canopy, the goal is to improve photosynthesis in areas that would normally spend most of the day in shadow. What am I expecting? • Better lower flower development. • More consistent bud density throughout the plant. • Improved light penetration into the middle of the canopy. • More efficient use of every flowering site. Will it perform miracles? Of course not. Good genetics, healthy roots and proper nutrition will always remain the foundation of a successful grow. But if Lumiflora helps those lower flowers mature closer to the quality of the top colas, it'll become another valuable tool in the garden. I'm genuinely excited to watch the results unfold over the coming weeks. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Once again, consistency continues doing the heavy lifting. Current grow room conditions: • Week 7 Flower • Height: 130 cm • Light schedule: 12/12 • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • pH: 5.8 • EC: 1.95 mS/cm • Root zone temperature: 21°C • Nutrient solution temperature: 21°C • CO₂ concentration: 639 ppm Stable environments allow genetics to express themselves without constantly fighting environmental stress. That's exactly the kind of consistency every grower should aim for. 📸 This Week's Gallery Looking through this week's photographs, it's hard not to smile. The full-plant portraits show a beautifully proportioned structure with impressive symmetry from top to bottom. The macro shots reveal fresh calyxes stacking around every flowering site, while countless bright white pistils continue reaching toward the light. One image that really stands out is the central cola. She's beginning to establish herself with confidence, surrounded by perfectly spaced secondary branches that already hint at a very satisfying canopy later in flower. The foliage remains vibrant and healthy, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark Zamnesia backdrop. Sometimes photographs capture more than appearance. They capture momentum. And that's exactly what these pictures show. This plant has found her rhythm. 🔮 Looking Ahead The coming weeks should become incredibly exciting. Stretch will gradually come to an end. The calyxes will begin swelling. Flower stacking should accelerate across every branch. Resin production will slowly begin increasing. And with the addition of the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting, it'll be fascinating to compare how the lower flowers develop alongside the upper canopy. The little 11 litre pot that initially felt like a questionable decision... May end up becoming one of the biggest surprises of this entire project. Allora.... Questa settimana ha ripreso veramente tanto! La settimana scorsa era rimasta un po' indietro rispetto le sue amiche (diverse genetiche) ma adesso ha veramente dato il suo scatto è ha rivelato che è all'altezza delle sue compagne di crescita! Anche lei sembra che si stia iniziando a riempire bene e ho deciso di togliere qualche internodo centrale per favorire l'areazione ed evitare eventuali sorprese di muffe più in là( anche se non ho mai avuto problemi meglio prevenire che curare)...non vedo l'ora che si inizi a gonfiare un po' perché sono molto curioso di questa genetica! Ha un 29% di THC quindi dovrebbe essere adatta a me .... speriamo bene e incrociamo le dita! Nel frattempo volevo ribadire la potenza di questi prodotti di Cannaboom! Sto usando tutta la linea full cream (con qualche aiuto della linea minerale tipo il loro CALMAG(SI) ) che oltre ad essere un semplice Cal Mag contiene anche silicio e ferro! Veramente adatto a le piante per fare assimilare meglio potassio e fosforo! Credetemi che con solo due applicazioni ho potuto vedere delle differenze esuberanti! Infatti speromtanto di continuare a usare i loro prodotti perché mi stanno veramente aiutando a spaccare questa growbox da 100x100! Quindi ancora grazie a CANNABOOM! i think pistills are changing more oranger this week.. but i guess buds are not growing fat this week .. something isn't right...

4/18: The slow one has turned the corner and starting to grow well now. 👍 I foliar fed them with big bloom and fulvic acid, and gave them a little drink of water with humic acid, endoboost, and molasses. 4/19: I foliar fed them again.👈 4/20: I gave them their first full-strength dose of nutes today and foliar fed again...hang on to your hats!🤠👍 4/22: I FIM'd both of them today and gave them about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. Later, I rinsed off the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow. 4/23: Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲 Tomorrow I'll spray them down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins..they'll start flowering soon and I want them hitting their stretch with major vigor.👈 4/24: I did a foliar application of Harpin proteins and fed them with about 1/4-gallon each. They are both showing sex parts now 😊 I removed all the cool white and blue light, and turned on the 3rd set of QB's and bud boosters so they will get their stretch on- I also reduced their photoperiod to 20 hours so they can start getting some beauty sleep. 4/25: Didn't have much time today, but I looked in on them..sexy little bitches..👈 It's getting crowded in here, so I'll remove all the photos (clones and seedlings) tomorrow. definitely should have switched to flower a couple weeks earlier, only my 2nd time doing a scrog, the last one worked awesome, this one is way more full since I only did one strain instead of 4, but now it's too full, I have some real nice looking branches and tops going UNDER the canopy, week 4 I do a final defoliation, I will have to see if I can get these all up and in the net or remove some smaller ones to make space for the bigger branches

🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 8 (Flower Week 3) — Strategic Reset Week ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — Where We Are • Genetics: Sour Diesel • Timeline: Week 8 from seed • Flowering: Week 3 • Height: ~60–70 cm (compact structure) • Room Temp: 28°C • RH: 65% • Feed EC: 2.9 • pH: 6.5 (kept above 6.0 intentionally) • Lighting: LED • Action this week: Strategic defoliation This plant is not tall — she’s compact, dense, and structurally tight. Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong. But: • Plant is compact, not oversized • Sour Diesel can eat • pH 6.5 keeps availability wide (Ca, Mg, P balance) The key will be: • Watching leaf tips • Monitoring runoff behavior • Watching for clawing or salt stress Right now, if she’s praying and stacking, she’s handling it. ⸻ 🔍 What To Expect Next Week (Flower Week 4) After defoliation: You may see: • Slight pause (24–72 hours) • Increased vertical bud push • Better lower-site activation • More defined pistil clustering • Stronger apical dominance response If recovery is clean: • Buds begin early stacking phase • Internodes tighten • Resin production initiates at bract level If stress appears: • Slight leaf droop • Tip burn acceleration • Reduced upward leaf angle But based on structure and timing — this looks calculated, not reactive. ⸻ 🧠 Why This Week Matters Long-Term This week determines: • Airflow pattern for late flower • Mold resistance later • Bud density uniformity • Final trim efficiency • Light-to-bud conversion efficiency This wasn’t about now. D72 - This week's diary starts late since I was gone on a short trip. The girls didn't miss me though as they are simply doing their thing, and with the automatic drip system, I don't even have to worry about watering. The girls look amazing! The colas are huge with plenty of frost. I'm very chuffed with how this grow is turning out :) D73 - Gave each girl 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.6, with 25ml EM-1. I'm fighting against temps and humidity since we have a heatwave with thunderstorms and plenty of rain. The average temp in the tent the last 24 hours was 31 degrees C (88F) and RH 63.5%, which is way high this late in flower. D74 - Yes! Our bad weather has moved on, and the humidity in the tent has dropped significantly to the mid-low 50s. Much better. Have to avoid that budrot! There isn't much to do in the tent now when everything is automated, so I spend more time observing and scouting the girls. I figured out that using my hyper-bright flashlight below the canopy is an excellent way to spot leaves that are yellowing from lack of light. I never thought of that before, but damn, it worked great and will now be a new tool in my arsenal. I removed the yellowing leaves and a couple of other fan leaves blocking bud sites. The rest of the leaves I tucked. Speaking of fan leaves, the stalks on the first girl are purple while they are green on the second. Another difference is that the first look frostier than the second girl. Not sure if that means that the second girl will take longer. One fan leaf on the first girl has a strange discoloration in the middle of a fan leaf, but I'm not overly concerned, considering it is only one leaf, and we're towards the end of the grow. Finally, and then I'll stop harping about fan leaves; one leaf tip on the second girl is turning purple. D76 - I had a first look at the trichomes. Clear/milky on both girls, with a random amber here and there on the second girl. Based on this, I guess chop day is at least a couple of weeks away. D77 - We have reached the end of the sixth week of flower, and everything is trucking along. It's mainly a waiting game at this point, waiting for the buds to fatten up and for the trichomes to mature. I ordered nematodes a few weeks ago and forgot to use them. I don't have a fungus gnat infestation, so it was only a preventative measure anyway. The nematodes were a couple of weeks past their use before date, so no idea if they are still viable, but I figured it is better to use them than throw them. I gave each girl 1.25-liters of nematode water @ pH 6.6, adding 25 ml of EM-1.

Chopping Time

🔥 Off to week 3 we go with the start of Day 15! 🔥 Couldn't be much happier with the progress so far. All my cuties are developing nicely, gaining lots of leaves and the stems are getting more robust & thick every day. I now turned up my SF SE3000 to around 70% with 50cm distance. Halved the amount of Rhizotonic and now started adding Cannazym. I'm still going slow with watering and only upped the amount to ~ 250 ml. What I'm so far most pleasantly surprised with, is the fact, that all 4 cuties look the same. Super, super strong genetics here from Mephisto. 💯 Looking forward to see their progress in the next few days. Stay tuned for updates & thanks for reading! 🌱

Grape God is almost done I could chop not but I am going to push it another 7-10 days. My haze beast will have a few weeks still. I started 2 other plants in Autopots for my first run with them. I m running a Roc Bud ICC tester and a Berserker MOG x Grape Pez

Nun geht immer mehr mit den Buds doch leider wirkt auch der Mangel immer noch stark auf sie ein. Ich versuche weiterhin die Versorgung mit Komposttee zu gewährleisten.

Mein erster Auto Grow auf dem Balkon. Hatte einen Gratis Samen von 420 fast bud und bin schon richtig gespannt auf diese Pflanze. Habe mich für den Plagron Royalmix entschieden. Ganz unten im Topf habe ich Bad Mix von plagron genommen und als Drenage schicht am Boden habe ich Tongranulat genommen.
