Much better harvest to end this first greenhouse grow. 48g dry on this plant. Still quite airy, but resinous and great smell. More relaxed effect than harvest 1. I could have done with another week or two with her, but the humidity was regularly into the 90s, there was very little sun and nearby tomato plants were starting to grow mold. I cut and ran, I need these meds to get me through the winter. Final total for both plants 59g. With a bit of luck, this should keep me medicated for a while. Indications are good.

11/16 everything is going great! I went through and pulled all of the dead leafs off to prevent mold. She smells super sweet almost like a candy or butter sweet it’s odd but I’m not complaining!!! Very excited to try it!

She defo comming along now, still praying for them heavy sticky buds , hopefully another couple of weeks and I think she will be done, each individual bud side branch has been tied out and other lst applied also gave her a defoliation, all of this has had to have a positive effect overall.

We used a 200L rain catcher to brew feed using General Hydroponics. Worked well, we just needed to add some PH solution as it was slightly acidic. We definitely made a few mistakes when transplanting last week, next season we will be doing things alot differently in terms of homes so they don't have to get transplanted so often.

5/18 It's not raining now but it's supposed to later. The plants are protected though. I have brought them out to continue hardening. It's only 57 degrees but they'll be alright. I used what little water was left in the bottom of the gallon to lightly water what looked like it needed it most. I mixed up another gallon and I'll check them again before they go in for the night. These plants are getting hardened off properly. I've had some pretty serious problems when I try to transition to quickly. I don't see ANY problems (knock on wood) thus far. Pink kush reminds me of purple punch. It grows similarly and starts off slow. I hope it turns the corner like the purple punch did and make up for it with the quality of flower. I topped/fimmed a special kush #1. I'll update when I bring them in for the night. This week I'll clean/sanitize the cage and the grow bags. EDIT: PLANTS SPENT A LITTLE OVER 3 HOURS IN THE LEAN-TO WITH INDIRECT SUNLIGHT AND EXPOSIRE TO OUTDSIDE AIR, TEMPS AND RH. I DIDNT WATER WHEN I BROUGHT THEM BACK IN. I'LL CHECK TOMM MORNING AND SEE HOW THEY LOOK. IT HAD JUST STARTED TO RAIN LIGHTLY WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN. THEY ARE PRETTY SHELTERED FROM WIND AND RAIN IN THE LEAN-TO. 5/19 It's thunderstorms out with high winds so the girls will probably stay in today. They look like they are acclimating well. I can see where some of the FIMS took. I redid one I think. I'll update later if do anything. 5/20 Everything looked AMAZING this morning. Boy that MK ULTRA has get some thick branches already forming. Another shitty rainy day. I consulted chatgtp and it was on the same page as me. No real benefit to expose my girls to 47° Temps, cold rain qnd wind. It will be shitty a couple more days. I'll evaluate things later. WATERED EVERYTHING TODAY. TOPSOIL WAS DRY. I USED APPROX 2/3 OF A GALLON ON EACH PLANT. 5/21 I've got a super busy day. I left early and it was to cold to put the girls out. It's 55° at 9:30a.m. It may rain off and on but I think the girls would do okay in the lean-to. I need to get them ready and hardened for their forever homes. Time seems like it's flying. We are getting close to being able to put them out without risk of reveg. Plus I'm not subjecting my girls to un needed stress for no reason. I'll update what I do. 5/22 Plants were dry this morning. I used what was left in the gallon jug to water all the plants. I don't wantcto overwater and I'd like to keep the nutes in the soil where the plant can absorb them. Not just leak out the bottom. They are all growing at an incredible pace. It's currently 49°F at 9:45. It's overcast with a chance of rain. We are at what was suppised to be the high for the day. If we get above 55 I'll bring the girls out and continuing hardening. I guess it's not going to he an early season. Won't be long though and these girls will be in their final homes. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. EDIT: ITS 4PM AND THE SUN JUST PEEKED OUT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND IS GONE AGAIN. PLANTS LOOK FANTASTIC. IM SO GLAD I KEPT THEM IN DURING THESE 40 LOW 50 DEGREE WET DAYS. IT'LL ONLY STRESS THEM IMO SINCE THEY LOOK SO GOOD. AS SOON AS THIS RAINSTORM AND COLD WEATHER PASSES WE SHOULD HAVE DECENT WEATHER. JUST A FEW MORE DAYS WHERE HIGHS ARE IN THE 40'S. I FEEL BAD FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT SAW THOSE HIGH 70-80 DEGREE DAYS AND PUT THEIR PLANTS OUT. THEY ARENT DOING GOOD. JUST LOOKING AT THE FOLIAGE AROUND AND I CAN SEE TREES THAT ARE JUST LIMP. THE BLOSSOMS ON THIS SPECIES LOOK LIKE A CANNABIS PLANT IN VEG WHEN IT GOT COLD SHOCKED. ANYWAY MY BODY IS KILLING ME. I GOT A LOT DONE. AND I SOAKED MY BAGS FOR 40 MINS IN A MICTURE OF DAWN, H202 AND WATER. PRIOR I USED A WIRE BRUSH TO GET ALL DIRY AND STUFF OFF I COULD. THEN I SOAKED THEM AND AFTER I RINSED THEM. I COULD SEE THE H2O2 DOING ITS WORK. REALISTICALLY I SHOULD GET NEW BAGS. ITS JUST NOT IN THE FINANCES RIGHT NOW. OH WELL. THEYVE BEEN SANITIZED AND WASHED AND ILL GO OVER THE ONES THAT ARE STAINED AGAIN JUST TO MAKE SURE I DONT SPREAD SOMETHING. 5/23 What a miserable day. It's 44° and pouring out. I put a screenshot of tbe weather and you can see that after the next few shitty days we are getting sunny weather in the 70's. Light is long enough for them now. I need to dial back the timer morecto get them acclimated. I just have to clean up the cage and they are ready to go. Bags are sanitized. I'm going to spend some more time getting some algae off a couple. These plants are flourishing. I am happy I picked 1gal over 3gal before the transplant. It's turned out perfect thus far. Really looking forward to this. Oh and I watered everything a LITTLE bit as it was dry. Enough to get it through until they get a full watering before going outside. I also attempted a FIM on the other 10th planet. The FIM on the mk ultra worked and I've got at least three tops. 5/23 WATERED ALL PLANTS WITH APPROXIMATELY A HALF GALLON. Plants were all super light and dry. I keedcto water more volume at a time. This is easier than fixing overwatering. Things are getting tight in here. Plants are getting huge! The FIMs and Toping that ive done took. That big mk ultra has 4 or 5 tops on it! Plants look super healthy. Good weather is coming. They'll be in their forever homes shortly. It's working out perfect. Some of these plants look like they'll need a transplant soon. Still need to clean up the grow cage but that will only take a minute. Also need to fix a tear I made in a grow bag but again thats just normal small shit. If you look at the snap shot of weather I took you can see the weather is going to improve greatly. This is when I'll do the majority of work. I'll update anything else I do.

You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way because with these few steps, you could have a 99% of success if seeds are fresh (we store our seeds in a dark and sealed container in the fridge and they last years!). The plants are now growing slower in height and start to develop real flower clusters at all tops. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are bushy with lots of budding sites, but plant#2 is now 15 cm taller than plant #1, which is a little more bushy than #2. Both plants are healthy and still enjoy the normal recommended feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients.

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! After 1 week of flush the plant start to fade gently, i hope that gonna be good before harvest. I think my additives tend to keep my plant green, both contain seaweed extract and are slow release. There is a little bit of nice fox tailing.

start of flowering for 3 plants

Set up Scrog in the start of the week. Foliar fed with CalMag + Iron 3 times this week. Defoliated lower shoots and fan leaves mid week. Raised ph in reservoir to 6.1 because the runoff was coming out at 5.2 ph. Now the runoff is at a steady 5.6 ph.

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Week 4 for the blueberry Pie. She's putting on weight now and the bud structure looks great. I can't tell this is gonna be a fat plant come harvest time. Very healthy looking with really solid branches. The terpenes are starting to come in strong. The weather in my area hasn't been the greatest with high heat and humidity almost every day of summer so far but we are making it work. Got the dehumidifier running on overtime. Half way to chop.

Massive fattening this week from the Lemon AK, shes a big one. Another 2-3 weeks and she might be ready! Zkittles is maturing, but slower than i had hoped :( another week at least i think. but thats about what everyone else gets. Both of these plants are very true to their names and smell spot on. Lower nute intake seems to be working somewhat so im gonna keep it this way till the end.
