Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. July 29, 2021, Thursday. I watered the crop thoroughly and rotated them. The girls (other than "J") are watered with pH'd tap water, that fluctuates between 6.2 & 6.4. July 30, 2021, Friday. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. On day 1 I did another light defoliation. The plants are progressing as expected. The only issue I'm dealing with is fungus gnats... ugh. I will keep applying BTI weekly until the population is under control. On day 3 the plants are putting out more pistils and seem to have stopped or slowed down their "stretch" phase. On day 4 I'm starting to see some trichomes forming on the sugar leaves, no smell that I can discern yet. I also changed out my reservoir and applied a BTI soil drench. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. I also purged my blumat system to make sure there are no clogs as my reservoir has fertilizer particles due to my water heater causing separation. I must keep the water heater on as I am growing in the northeast coming into the cold time of the year and can't have my reservoir freeze on me. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 7 I adjusted PH in reservoir to 6.1.

Not much to report this week from the garden. All the plants received a top dressing of about 300ml worm castings and 80ml Dr Forest Organic 284 Bloom just before the start of week eight, and will most likely be their last feeding. The plants have stuck to the usual watering schedule of 2.5l every two days. The huge Wedding Cheesecake growing in Coco Coir appears to me to be showing signs of cal/mag deficiency so yesterday I top dressed with Cal/Mag again from Dr Forest Organics. Keeping humidity under 45% has been a battle well and truly lost this week, and has varied wildly and constantly between around 41% and 57% but has been most often found to be around 47%. The battle rages on. I have been defoliating once a week, mainly just removing stuff covering bud sites, and trichome production on all four Bruce Banners has really taken off. After only a fairly light defoliation session, my hands were so sticky they were almost glued together and I rolled all I could remove from my hands into a sausage and smoked it mixed in with my other stuff, but that was only about 1/2 to 2/3rds of what was stuck to my hands, and I have to wash my hands in isopropyl alcohol and soap and fairly liquid 3 times before the best part of it was removed.

Chance Of A Lifetime Greenhouse seeds Wonder Pie Week six 12th June 2020 Welcome back , Well aprox 6 days have passed since I flipped the lighting schedule to 12/12 and they are starting to flower 👌 I was planning on vegging them longer but I decided that I didn't want to risk them stretching too much as they only have 70cm between them and the top of the tent . Never mind I am still happy with the way my tent is filling up with the three girls and another plant I already had running. Because I had already added enough Bio Grow to veg for an extra week or so , and the plants seem to be growing just fine with water I will not add the Bio Bloom until the end of Next week . I am due to feed them with the enhancer again so I think that should see them thru the initial stretch and flowering nicely 👍 During this week I had to do a few alterations to the plants using LST and soft wire. My main aim is to keep training each plant so that it fills in as much of the area around it as possible thus not wasting any room if possible . Because I am using a living soil mix I occasionly need to "feed" it too , but incase I was breaking any rules regarding the competition I wanted to clarify whether worm castings and worm tea made with molasses was allowed. Luckily I was informed recently that Yes it is ok so some time next week I will also add some fresh worm tea and a handful of castings to each plant. I am super impressed with the uniformity of this strain as all three of mine look almost identical to a lot of the other Wonder pie diaries I have been following, this means that the strain is homozygous and will no doubt produce a similiar result each time it is grown. Welcome to my CBDV diary. Has been blast.. there's so much more to growing a CBD plant, my point is I'm far from where I want to be with the Quality of the end product as far as density goes. (I got the quality part down) she's 1 stinky sticky ass bitch. Wk 9 Day 58-63 Plant was kept on feed till the bitter end. She was confided to the 70cm2 for her last few weeks of life but I've no doubt, if I had of kept her going under the FC 3000 she would of reached deeper down and gave me denser buds on top. There is so much airy ripe bud below I'd say it'll make up for 1/3 of the overall harvest. Which will be quite a lot. Id say in the 80-100g no doubt. She has some major big buds that are stacked with swollen calyexs that are glistening and very sticky. I can she's had enough. I didn't have the light to finish the end that the FC 3000 created on a lot of my autos. On most I clipped it away after I had to confine my plants to their own tents for good. But, she kept eating. Wk10 63-67 I stopped everything nutrient wise. And let her finish the ride out on water until day 67 and she gladly ate what was in her pot and showed no signs of wanting more, so I hard flushed her 1x pot value (11L) and got a ppm of 900ish, so 2x (22ish) more the pot value until it came down to 210. And for 3 more days I left them girls drink what they could from the pot and left them under my 100w where they've lived the past 3-4 weeks and I'm gonna pull them this week, they are resting 30hrs already and then I'll pull them, and harvest them whole, roots and all will be pult and I'll shake the clay off, bag the roots and hang dry upside down, (so no dirt falls on the buds while drying from the roots) and will dry at 55-60 rh with a temperature of 17-19c. I'll try keep the RH around 59 but I'm not gonna worry too much if it differs from that range. I already cut a wee bud off her the today, just a small 1 to try her for taste. And I'll rate it on harvest. As she's low on CBD, I'll rate her on taste. But, she'll be a nice addition to my full THC smoke no doubt. Never really removed any substantial growth from her to even call it a defoliation, there really was no need. I done a decent job at LST and my plants got rotated every day and I pult nodes/leafs this way and that. So, I'm happy with the results. She has a lot of girt and not too much lollipoped with a good amount of CBDV bud in 70 days. Very nice indeed.. Thanks so much for looking at my diary guys. I hope to do better the next time. But, as I am using dry additive powders I'm sure I'll be able to dial in that key nutrient ratio for my CBDS. She's been my biggest auto of this grow. At 71cm tall, and a big ass cola I am very happy. She has a lot of girt and stinks fruits, mainly passion, I'm guessing. As I've learnt, you don't know the true smell of your weed until you get at least a 2 month cure on it. Harvest Day.. Day 70 was done on day 65 then I left as I like my weed little on the harsher side. She very punchy. Has like a deep wood smell but very citruses with hints of tropical fruits. I've harvested 6 autos today. And, its hard to pick up the smell. Very sweet smelling and citrus fruits. (Ill give a more independent smell profile upon the trim and hopefully she'll come into her true smell upon a 2 month cure. Okay so pk boost and as with everything else in this grow, it’s a week behind what it really should be, so I may have hit the tropicanna poison with a PK Boost too late, where as, for the orange hill special and frosted guava it’s probably a little early but hey ho - you gotta compromise with the Autopot system if you are growing multiple strains that are really quite different in terms of gene pool. Edit: okay so it’s 4 days later and it ALMOST looks like a different plant! Its colours are coming out now. As you can see, some of the side branches pistols are turning orange and there is even some colour turning up at the edges of the swollen calyxes. I don’t think I will get too much light penetration to be honest, due to the fact that it’s too crouded in there - it’s so easy to forget how big they get when you first veg them! (Particularly as it’s my first grow in months and first photo grow in years!) Next time I will just make sure I germ the seeds at the same time - although, it wasn’t really my fault, per sé. This is definitely the most advanced plant for sure…then the NYC diesel. Edit: so I noticed that my tall tower fan broke AGAIN and so I decided to buy a clip on I think it’s an 8” one that rotates - it’ll probably stop rotating after a while but the reviews say 18 months in after having bought the product, it still works fine, just doesn’t swivel. Tbh, it’s cheap enough to if it breaks then I can just replace it - it should def last longer than a tower fan that’s been flooded with 10-15l of water! Twice! So I can’t say I’m hugely shocked… For now, iv taken the fan that is a clip on that I was using for the extraction of my drying tent - it’s surprisingly powerful for such a small USB powered fan tbf!

Welcome to my Black Jack b sponsored by Sweet Seeds 2 yrs ago nearly. Veg Weeks & Pre/Post Pre Flower Weeks 7-9 She was really healthy during her entire veg period. Moving into pre flower she didn't do any excess stretching. Plant was doing very well moving into pre flower it took a good few weeks for her to flip but it was building up a good base up and down the nodes. I used plagron right through half of flowering possibly more. For the last 4 weeks I moved all my plants to Xpert Nutrients. MAINTENANCE I carried out a good bit of work making sure all parts of her was getting light (as much as she didn't get, it was more then enough to get A grade bud just like it was done under a 100w). I stripped a lot of shoots coming into & during pre fower. So when coming in to fattening all her energy went into making buds that were brought to harvest. Knowing light would be an Issue (lack off) i made sure to use all my skills to move energy through a plant. After pre fower was over (plants nodes stop growing up) and I left her a few days for the leaves to take in energy building stigmata. Then I done 10-15% defoliations for mid wk into fattening and beyond until I felt was enough removed (3-4 stages). Now on her last few days I took loads of leaves off to help ripening. She's 95% cloudy and 15% or so Amber. I had to give 10l of water to flush the nutes I had given her. 4l was given and ppm was 650. So I had to give another 6L to get the ppm down to 250 area. 3 days its been under light for 11hrs with 30m of UV-A doses from 65cm away (they are attached to my light IR/UV45) FLOWERING/RIPENING WEEKS Plant moved very nicely through fattening. Buds are lots but whets there is pretty darn good for been at the side of a FC3000 300w light in a 1m2 tent doing many other plants. And this been by far been under the best part of it. It sat on the outskirts as this fem is one of my 1st 5 I started together with 7 autos in phase 1 of my 6 phase crop with 10-15 plants per phase. Took (NUMBER 4 this 1 is). 14 weeks from seed. And she's been through a hard flush. As the last 4.5 weeks she's been on Xpert Nutrients. NUTRIENT GIVEN So I know tats a large list. But as I updated my a lot of weeks into 1. I left on the list what was given. All of plagron was given through most of the grow right through to the middle of fattening and then I switched it (all my plants to Xpert Nutrients bloom nutes). And even then, I normally give more than 2-3 nutrients in 1 feeding 2-3 day window. Its important tat a plant take up these as individual so I typically leave a few days or at least 1-2 water feeds (or low ec feeds such as an enzyme, or calmag to help break down any excess nutrients left behind from last feed) I added my SE5000 and have this 60+cm away just finish off the ripening process. Pant has a good amount of bud. And really like this breeder. What have I been missing out on Sweet Seeds both plants are dreams to grow. Thanks to my sponsors. These week as seen the biggest development of colas in only a few days. We have started to feed pk13/14 aswell as boost accelerater and a and b. Responding well to feed appt from slight nute deficiency in one plants but I suspect due to boost overdose 2 weeks ago.

DAY 58 Watered with nutes. 💧 5L (1,3 gallons) The buds which were supercropped are still alive, the side branches celebrate. 😜 The stretch is definitely done. 🐝 Remember in germination week, when I said I would pollinate a bud? I did it.. I put up a blue plastic bag tent and switched off the vents. The pollen was taken out of the freezer 2hrs before, warmed up in a jar with silicate gel. The bud was separated into the tent and the bottom was secured with a clothespin. Wearing a mask, I brushed and dipped the pollen onto the pistils. I used a contouring brush (gentle-cis-men, it's for make up), it has soft hairs and can take up a lot of pollen. After brushing, I covered the hopefully pregnant bud with a DIY newspaper bag (that's why you don't see pics). Sprayed everything including myself with water to kill the sperm in the air, switched on the vents again - next morning, removed the newspaper. Now I think I see no difference, maybe the pollen was dead. 😕 Watered with nematodes because there's an army of fungus gnats in the autoflower tent. 😦 🐛 DAY 61 Watered with nutes. 💧 5L (1,3 gallons) I won't take the plant out of the tent anymore now just to take pics. It's super beautiful, but it's not easy to get it out without harming it, so eff the pics. 😊 This plant!!!11 😛 The leaves already start making a trichome blanket!!! So cool, I can a little bit see how she will look in 3 weeks, this plant is so ultra cool! 💪 SSSC, I need to grow more of their genetics! DAY 62 I think we have a mum here. 😍 The pollinated bud looks banged. Hahaha.
