Overall, we are very pleased with the end result of this grow! For the harvesting process itself - once the trichomes on the buds were milky white (see zoomed in photo above), we cut down the branches and hung to dry in the tent. The light was on in the photo to display the hanging to dry method, but the lights were turned off for the duration of the drying process. On the first day the buds were hanging, all large fan leaves were trimmed. Over the course of the next week, day by day, more leaves were trimmed. After 8/9 days of drying, the buds were ready to move into the curing stage (the test for this: the skinny branches would snap when bent, and the thicker branches were near snapping when bent). On day 9, buds were cut from the branches, trimming off the final accessible leaves, without damaging the trichomes, and placed in glass jars with dehumidifier pouches to begin the curing process. For the first 7 days, the jars were opened (burped) for 10 minutes twice daily. After the first week, burping was reduced to once a day and then every few days. Strain first tested after 10 days of curing, but cured for a total of 4 for optimal results. Citrusy flavor, excellent sativa for mellow productivity and a mood boost. Now that I have my first grow under my belt, it's time to move onto the next!

When the medium got dry again, the roots starts to look for water and that's the time to turn the autopot on. The Autopot System is a gravity fed watering system which requires no power, pumps or timers to operate. I am using the easy2grow model and a flexitank as a reservoir. I filled the reservoir with 4 gallons of water: - 0,2 mS/cm - Calimagic - 0,4 mS/cm - BioGrow - ph - 5.8 Keeping an eye on the reservoir ph during the week.

Welcome to week 8! My little apple fritter doing great! The buds getting bigger from day to day and she’s handling the small distance to the light fantastic. I think I have another 1,5weeks to go and I’m Herz curious about the harvest!

Well , these girls are just massive 😂 I seriously have never saw this amount of growth in such a short time honestly 😂 When I'm putting the height of the plants I'm measuring from the bottle of the soil to just above and what I like to call gestimating as its beyond difficult to measure so sorry about that in advance guys 👎🏼 I wish I had an amazing camera so you guys can fully see the extreme crazy growth amongst the canopy ! Had to give the girls another major trim As those fan leaves where multiplying , twisting and knotting and doing some crazy 💩 Haha😂 Now we have been in limbo with what to do with regards to the scrog , everytime we decide something we end up doing the opposit so just going to take it week by week, as you can see from the middle of the canopy those stems have been wrapped round the full tent nearly and still popping right up, so put them back under which I was initially not going to do but yeh lol! Still using cellmax nutrients a,b and flower... Feel like I should stop haha. Highly rate them guys the growth with this grow compared to last is outstanding! Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. Sorry for the late update, everyone. Thank you for checking out the garden. This lady has absolutely exploded! I am anxious to see how her buds stack up over the coming weeks. She has been drinking and feeding so much lately that I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% nutes instead of just 50%. We will see soon how she handles them. I was getting crazy pH swings (down to 4.4) because of how heavy she had been feeding. With the tap water I have, the new nutes measure about 850-900 ppm, but tap is about 200, so ~700 ppm of actual nutes. Can’t find anything negative to report. Summer camp is going well. All girls are in stretch and looking like they’re going to be basketball players. All are on course to be tall for auto’s. The shortest is now the tallest, the Harvey Wallbanger is at 30 inches, the next is the 91 Grapes at 28 inches and bringing up the rear is the Vanilla Fizz at 26 inches tall. The weather has been a little hotter and drier past few days so the girls will either get a drink tomorrow or the next day.

With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

Day 28 - These ladies are growing like crazy! 2 of them are already almost as tall as my white widow autos that are about 2 weeks ahead! Day 30 - Still stretching like crazy, starting to look much better though I have to say! Day 32 - Ladies are starting to get nice & purple!

Well she transitioned into flower this week but she is stretching at a fast rate. I'm hoping she keeps stretching another week or two. Two of the other autos started to bud this week but i was hoping this one would be offset beings that is was germinated a little later so Im wondering if theirs something that triggered them to flower other than its genetics. It did cool down this week from in the 100's, to mid 80's and mid 60's at night. They got more compost tea this week and some rain a few days earlier in the week followed by sunshine.
